Uma anota??o à clínica: Gilles Deleuze, esquizofrenia e sua positividade
Barros, Maria Elizabeth;Pereira, Juan Carlos Peixoto;
Fractal : Revista de Psicologia , 2010, DOI: 10.1590/S1984-02922010000800012
Abstract: the article discuss about the subject of schizophrenia, taken as a negative sign when it's taken as pathology in the field of psychoses. it affirms that the medical psychiatric discourse celebrated its advent and commemorated such possibilities opened and revealed by the "freud-bleulerian" thought. it considers that the career of the schizophrenia, crossing the anti-psychiatry political movement, was confronted with another sort of experiences, being registered under a new logic that, under the conditions imposed by the freudian happening, transformed the twentieth century's knowledge. it affirms that gilles deleuze understood that stunning, collected the part that fit him and documented it, especially in his work the logic of sense when inverted the polarity of the signs, making schizophrenia positive.

Fractal : Revista de Psicologia , 2011, DOI: 10.1590/S1984-02922011000200009
Abstract: this present article contextualises and examines a tradiction that presents itself recurrent way in the midst of clinical practice of psychology and mental health: mentalism. the mentalism assumes an internalized and essencialized conception of the subject in favor of instrumental models of clinica. from the criticism on mentalism the authors examine other possibilities to deal with no more the essentialized subject, however, with the complex process of subjectivity. this is a clinical perspective that resorting to deleuze, guattari and to philosophy of difference offers conception, strategies more commensurate to the complexity of the contemporary world, introducing ethical, political and aesthetic discussions in the psychic dimension
Diferen?a no currículo
Paraíso, Marlucy Alves;
Cadernos de Pesquisa , 2010, DOI: 10.1590/S0100-15742010000200014
Abstract: this paper intends to consider a curriculum with the difference, as conceptualized by gilles deleuze, in order to shake the extracts of the already existing curriculums so as to give rise to a new one. it brings, as a means of experimentation, lines traced in an investigation which has mapped out the curriculum of three teachers working in three different schools. concepts taken from the deleuzian thought on difference are used to establish virtual lines in the territory of the curriculum. the need to consider the curriculum with its bifurcations, escapes, variations and escape lines is defended. difference is prioritized, as opposed to identity, and the ramifications that emerge from this thought are then followed up on. its lines and traces aim to break the extracts of the already existing curriculums so as to enable us to observe difference doing its job. last but not least, it means to operate with difference in such a way that the curriculum may be viewed as a multiple territory of summation, desire, extinction of territorial boundaries as well as cultivation of joys and affections.
La avispa y la orquídea hacen mapa en el seno de un rizoma: Cartografía y máquinas, releyendo a Deleuze y Guattari
Pérez de Lama, José;
Pro-Posi??es , 2009, DOI: 10.1590/S0103-73072009000300009
Abstract: for almost a decade, we have been experiencing a continuous interest in cartography as a tool for the acquisition of critical knowledgement. from the use of hackitectura.net as an instrument, we have participated in this movement, producing several cartographic processes, especially the critical cartography of the strait of gibtaltar (2004), developed in collaboration with several social and artistic collective works which operate in that geopolitical territory. since the beginning, our practice has been based on felix guattari's and deleuze's ideas, proposing the principles of cartography and decalcomania to explain the rhizome concept. even though we refer to the reticular territories more than to the rhizome, the connection that guattari establishes between his concept of cartography and the concepts of agencing, machines and subjectivity production still draw a great deal of attention today. for guattari, making maps, just as the orchid and the wasp do, is an action rather than representation. rather than representing a pre-existing world, cartography implies the identification of new relations and territories, or new machines. this article presents a theoretical approach to guattari's ideas, proved in many of his and other authors' works. it finally approaches, from a perspective based on our experience, the development and limitations that we perceive in the relation with those practices.
A origem do conceito de multiplicidade segundo Gilles Deleuze
Cardoso Júnior, Hélio Rebello;
Trans/Form/A??o , 1996, DOI: 10.1590/S0101-31731996000100010
Abstract: deleuze seeks for his own concept of multiplicity through the issue of multiplicity both in riemann's physical theory and in bergson's philosophy. this attempt states for deleuze's peculiar creation of concepts. in fact, he draws out from riemannian and bergsonian concepts of multiplicity new features for the notions of space and time. hence, he is able to supply his own concept with an ontological spread.

The Case for a Pragmatic Qualitative Appraisal Framework for Local Economic Development  [PDF]
James E. Rowe
Modern Economy (ME) , 2014, DOI: 10.4236/me.2014.57070

This paper develops a theoretical framework and rationale for an alternative post-structuralist approach to assessing economic development strategies. This research applies Deleuzian philosophical concepts in order to address the limitations of current assessment methodologies. The paper explores the history of and the reasons for the perceived failure of the Auckland Regional Economic Development Strategy (AREDS). This perceived failure led to the total de-territorialsiation of the organisation tasked with implementing the strategy. Deleuzian spatial concepts, such as flows, plateaus, rhizomes and lines of flight, are employed to develop metaphorical tools for assessing economic development strategies, initiatives and programmes. The framework developed is tested against AREDS. The paper concludes that such strategies and local initiatives should be assessed based on performance predicated on becoming instead of performance-measured outcomes.

Assemblage Thinking and the City: Implications for Urban Studies  [PDF]
Hesam Kamalipour, Nastaran Peimani
Current Urban Studies (CUS) , 2015, DOI: 10.4236/cus.2015.34031
Abstract: The last decade has seen an increasing interest in the application of assemblage thinking, in geography, sociology, and urban studies. Different interpretations of the Deleuzian concept of assemblage give rise to the multiple articulations of the term in urban studies so far. This paper aims to review the recently published research on assemblage theory and explore the implications of assemblage thinking in urban studies. The study thus provides an overview of the most significant contributions in the area, including a succinct bibliography on the subject. The paper concludes that assemblage can be effectively adopted as a way of thinking in urban studies to provide a theoretical lens for understanding the complexity of the city problems by emphasising the relations between sociality and spatiality at different scales.
Filia??o intensiva e alian?a demoníaca
Castro, Eduardo Viveiros de;
Novos Estudos - CEBRAP , 2007, DOI: 10.1590/S0101-33002007000100006
Abstract: this article proposes an intensification of the dialogue between deleuze and anthropology in at least two ways. in the first part, it traces proximities between deleuzian concepts and influent analytical themes for today?s anthropology; in the second, examines an specific incidence of classical social anthropology - the kinship theory - on deleuze and guattari?s conception of primitive territorial machine, or pre-signifier semiotics.
