Robust Stability for a Class of Uncertain Systems
一类不确定系统的鲁棒稳定性分析

Abstract: This paper studies the robust stability for a class of uncertain systems.The sufficient stability conditions for these systems are given in the form of linear matrix inequality(LMI). And these results are further applied to the analysis of the robust stability for the interval systems.The criteria of robust stabil- ity for interval systems are presented.The problem of robust stability for interval systems can be transformed into a problem of solvability of a class of LMIs.Numerical examples show that our results are less conservative than the conventional ones.
New Option for Gene-targeting Vector Construction——Red/ET Recombination

Abstract: The study of human new gene's function has become an increasingly active academic field basically relying on the gene knockout (KO) mouse. The construction of targeting vector economically and efficiently has turned into the key step to acquire a KO mouse because of the low efficiency of recombination with traditional constructed targeting vector. For study of the function of new gene-Resp18, we brought in a new DNA engineering platform-Red/ET recombination to construct Resp18 targeting vector. Red/ET recombineering differs from the conventional ways of vector construction (e.g., PCR, restriction enzyme digestion and ligation) and achieves genetic modification by acquisition, insertion, fusion or replacement of the target gene through small fragments mediated homologous recombination. Now Resp18 targeting vectors of three strategies were yielded successfully through two homologous recombination processes of retrieve and neo-targeting. Red/ET recombination has the advantage of getting longer homology regions without mutation, which makes it a new and reliable alternative to the construction of a targeting vector today.
Dermatoglyphics from All Chinese Ethnic Groups Reveal Geographic Patterning

Abstract: Completion of a survey of dermatoglyphic variables for all ethnic groups in an ethnically diverse country like China is a huge research project, and an achievement that anthropological and dermatoglyphic scholars in the country could once only dream of. However, through the endeavors of scientists in China over the last 30 years, the dream has become reality. This paper reports the results of a comprehensive analysis of dermatoglyphics from all ethnic groups in China. Using cluster analysis and principal component analysis of dermatoglyphics, it has been found that Chinese populations can be generally divided into a southern group and a northern group. Furthermore, there has been considerable debate about the origins of many Chinese populations and about proper assignment of these peoples to larger ethnic groups. In this paper, we suggest that dermatoglyphic data can inform these debates by helping to classify a Chinese population as a northern or southern group, using selected reference populations and quantitative methods. This study is the first to assemble and investigate dermatoglyphics from all 56 Chinese ethnic groups. It is fortunate that data on population dermatoglyphics, a field of physical anthropology, have now been collected for all 56 Chinese ethnic groups, because intermarriage between individuals from different Chinese ethnic groups occurs more frequently in recent times, making population dermatoglyphic research an ever more challenging field of inquiry.
Deficiency of Adiponectin Protects against Ovariectomy-Induced Osteoporosis in Mice

Abstract: Adipokine adiponectin (APN) has been recently reported to play a role in regulating bone mineral density (BMD). To explore the mechanism by which APN affects BMD, we investigated BMD and biomechanical strength properties of the femur and vertebra in sham-operated (Sham) and ovariectomized (OVX) APN knockout (KO) mice as compared to their operated wild-type (WT) littermates. The results show that APN deficiency has no effect on BMD but induces increased ALP activity and osteoclast cell number. While OVX indeed leads to significant bone loss in both femora and vertebras of WT mice with comparable osteogenic activity and a significant increase in osteoclast cell number when compared to that of sham control. However, no differences in BMD, ALP activity and osteoclast cell number were found between Sham and OVX mice deficient for APN. Further studies using bone marrow derived mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) demonstrate an enhanced osteogenic differentiation and extracellular matrix calcification in APN KO mice. The possible mechanism for APN deletion induced acceleration of osteogenesis could involve increased proliferation of MSCs and higher expression of Runx2 and Osterix genes. These findings indicate that APN deficiency can protect against OVX-induced osteoporosis in mice, suggesting a potential role of APN in regulating the balance of bone formation and bone resorption, especially in the development of post-menopausal osteoporosis.
Target Deletion of the Cytoskeleton-Associated Protein Palladin Does Not Impair Neurite Outgrowth in Mice

Abstract: Palladin is an actin cytoskeleton–associated protein which is crucial for cell morphogenesis and motility. Previous studies have shown that palladin is localized to the axonal growth cone in neurons and may play an important role in axonal extension. Previously, we have generated palladin knockout mice which display cranial neural tube closure defect and embryonic lethality before embryonic day 15.5 (E15.5). To further study the role of palladin in the developing nervous system, we examined the innervation of palladin-deficient mouse embryos since the 200 kd, 140 kd, 90–92 kd and 50 kd palladin isoforms were undetectable in the mutant mouse embryo brain. Contrary to the results of previous studies, we found no inhibition of the axonal extension in palladin-deficient mouse embryos. The cortical neurons derived from palladin-deficient mice also showed no significant difference in neurite outgrowth as compared with those from wild-type mice. Moreover, no difference was found in neurite outgrowth of neural stem cell derived-neurons between palladin-deficient mice and wild-type mice. In conclusion, these results suggest that palladin is dispensable for normal neurite outgrowth in mice.

Abstract: Rice blast caused by Pyricularia grisea was the most important disease in the rice production and seriously influenced the yield and quality.This paper reviewed the application of molecular markers to the analysis of genetic population of structure in blast pathogen and stated the quality of genetic lineages.At the same time the relationship between pathotype and genetic lineages of blast pathogens was analized and the relative factors resulting in the changes of blast pathogen population structure were studied.

Abstract: 血友病B是凝血Ⅸ因子(hFIX)缺乏所导致的一种出血性疾病,通过输血和hFIX浓缩剂进行治疗疗效显著,但存在治疗费用高和安全隐患,因而获得安全、廉价的人凝血Ⅸ因子对血友病B治疗具有重要意义.植物系统表达外源蛋白在生产成本和安全性方面具有优势.为此,构建含人凝血Ⅸ因子基因(hFIX,2.8kb)植物双元表达载体p35s-2300∷gus∷noster,用农杆菌介导法转化烟草"百日红",通过PCR和Southern blot分析证实获得4株独立转基因植株,hFIX在转基因烟草基因组中的拷贝数为1~4个;RT-PCR和ELISA检测结果表明,hFIX在转录和翻译水平已成功表达,hFIX在转基因烟草叶片中的表达量为2.5~8.8ng/g·FW,并具有免疫活性.为利用植物系统表达hFIX的后续研究作了必要准备,也为利用植物系统表达其他药用蛋白研究提供了一些理论和实验参考.
On a nonstationary nonlinear coupled system

Abstract: in this paper, a strongly nonlinear coupled elliptic-parabolic system modelling a class of engineering problems with heat effect is studied. existence of a weak solution is first established by schauder fixed point theorem, where the coupled functions σ(s), k(s) are assumed to be bounded. the uniqueness of the solution is obtained by applying meyers' theorem and assuming that σ(s), k(s) are lipschitz continuous. the regularity of the solution is then analyzed in dimension d < 2 under the assumptions on σ(s), k(s) ∈ c2(r) and the boundedness of their derivatives of second order. finally, the blow-up phenomena of the system are studied. mathematical subject classification: 35j60, 35k55.
Research on the Reciprocating Sealing of Fracturing Pump

Abstract: The failure reasons of reciprocating sealing in OPI-1800AWS fracturing pump is analyzed by scanning electron microscope technology (SEMT). The lubrication mechanism of plunger seal friction pair is analyzed by hydrodynamic lubrication theory. During its discharge and suction stroke, the reciprocating sealing friction pair meets the conditions of hydrodynamic lubrication, a certain thickness of oil film can be formed and maintained between the plunger and V-shaped sealing interface, which can lubricate sealing pair, reduce friction and improve lifetime. The axial pressure distribution of the V-shaped sealing are carried out by theoretical analysis and experimental testing. According to the distribution curve of axial pressure, the V-shaped sealing failure and the determination of the number of loops are discussed.
