Abstract: Based on the traditional genetic algorithm, proposed an improved adaptive genetic algorithm, the experimental results show that the improved adaptive genetic algorithm results than standard genetic algorithm much better and effective to improve the convergence of genetic algorithm optimization of speed and efficiency.

Abstract: 为了及时排除过江隧道盾构掘进时管片上浮的安全隐患,保证隧道施工安全和质量。基于衡阳合江套湘江隧道管片施工实例,考虑过江隧道施工区岩溶-侵蚀耦合作用下的特殊地形,并结合现有隧道施工时影响管片上浮的重要指标,提出一种基于云模型理论的盾构隧道安全评价方法;建立一套影响盾构隧道管片上浮的评价指标体系,并通过云模型算法得出综合评价数字特征并生成云滴图。计算结果表明:基于云模型的安全评价方法能量化管片施工的定性评价标准;采用云模型的评价方法能降低评价标准的主观性,在现有规范的基础上,能为隧道施工过程解决管片上浮提供一定的对策和参考。
This paper aimed at promptly eliminating the security risks of segment floating when the crossed river tunnel shield tunneling, thereby ensuring the safety and quality of tunnel construction. The special terrain under the coupled with karst-erosion in the crossed river tunnel construction area was considered, and the important influencing indicators of segment floating on the existing tunnel construction were combined. A method was proposed for the evaluation of shield tunnel safety based on cloud model theory. A set of evaluation index system was established which affects the floating segment of the shield tunnel. Based on the cloud model algorithm, a comprehensive evaluation of digital features was obtained and cloud drops were generated. Calculation results prove that: (1) Security evaluation method based on loud model can quantify the qualitative evaluation criteria of segment construction; (2) The evaluation method of cloud model can reduce the subjectivity of evaluation criteria. On the basis of existing norms, the proposed method can provide some countermeasures and reference for the construction of the tunnel
Mesoscale eddy effects on the wintertime vertical mixing in the formation region of the North Pacific Subtropical Mode Water

Abstract: Mesoscale eddy effects on the wintertime vertical mixing in the formation region of the North Pacific Subtropical Mode Water (NPSTMW) are studied using hydrographic data from Argo profiling floats deployed in the Kuroshio recirculation region in February and March of 2001. Anticyclonic (warm) eddy enhances the wintertime vertical mixing and results in the deep mixed layer and the deep thermocline. Consequently, a large volumetric water mass with low potential vorticity corresponding to the prototype of NPSTMW tends to be formed. By contrast, cyclonic (cold) eddy is unfavorable for the vertical mixing process and halts the deepening of the mixed layer and thus the formation of mode water. Further analysis shows that cyclonic eddies prevail in the late 1990s in the formation region of NPSTMW, which lead to significant suppression of the wintertime vertical mixing (96–98) and thus are unfavorable for the formation of NPSTMW; while the situation is completely reversed in the early 1990s (93–95).

Comparison of Methods for Different Time-frequency Analysis of Vibration Signal

Abstract: Vibration problems in rotors can be extremely frustrating and may lead to greatly reduced reliability. By utilizing the proper data collection and analysis techniques, the faults because of vibration can be discovered and predicted. The signal analysis is important in extracting fault characteristics in fault diagnosis of machinery. The traditional signal analysis can not settle for non-stationary vibration signal whose statistic properties are variant. To deal with non-stationary signal, time-frequency analysis techniques are widely used. The experiment data of oil whip vibration fault signal were analyzed by different methods, such as short time Fourier transform (STFT), Wigner-Ville distribution (WVD), Wavelet transform (WT) and Hilbert-Huang Transform (HHT). The experiment data of rubbing vibration faults signal were also analyzed by the HHT. Compared with these methods, it is demonstrated that the time-frequency resolutions of STFT and WVD were inconsistent, which were easy to cross or make signal lower. WT had distinct time-frequency distribution, but it brought redundant component. HHT time-frequency analysis can detect components of low energy, and displayed true and distinct time-frequency distribution. Therefore, HHT is a very effective tool to diagnose the faults of rotating machinery.
Positive Solutions for Boundary Value Problems of N-Dimension Nonlinear Fractional Differential System

Abstract: We study the boundary value problem for a kind N-dimension nonlinear fractional differential system with the nonlinear terms involved in the fractional derivative explicitly. The fractional differential operator here is the standard Riemann-Liouville differentiation. By means of fixed point theorems, the existence and multiplicity results of positive solutions are received. Furthermore, two examples given here illustrate that the results are almost sharp.

A Stochastic Approach for Parameterizing Unresolved Scales in a System with Memory

Abstract: Complex systems display variability over a broad range of spatial and temporal scales. Some scales are unresolved due to computational limitations. The impact of these unresolved scales on the resolved scales needs to be parameterized or taken into account. One stochastic parameterization scheme is devised to take the effects of unresolved scales into account, in the context of solving a nonlinear partial differential equation with memory (a time-integral term), via large eddy simulations. The obtained large eddy simulation model is a stochastic partial differential equation. Numerical experiments are performed to compare the solutions of the original system and of the stochastic large eddy simulation model.
