Research on Reliability of Knowledge-Updating in A Kind of Network Knowledge System  [PDF]

Abstract: The definition of reliability of knowledge-updating in network knowledge resource management system (NKRM system for brief) has been given in this paper, which has important reference value to the evaluation of NKRM system. Besides, two kinds of models in NKRM system have been introduced. And one of the most common methods to improve reliability is the redundant technique. However, reliability and efficiency are inconsistent each other. By treating each knowledge as one part of the system, this paper proposes method of joint reserve of knowledge that may resolve this problem.

Abstract: In vitro antibacterial activities of three antibacterial peptides, alone and in combination with the antibiotics were measured by MIC and antibacterial spectrum. Synergy was observed when the peptides were combined with penicillin, streptomycin by FIC. The results show that antibacterial peptides have stronger inhibition of pathogenic bacterium, and antibacterial spectrum are very different. The interaction in antibacterial peptides, antibiotics and bacterium is extraordinary complex, except synergic action, there are antagonism and indifference.

Abstract: 为了克服目前GPS (Generalized Processor Sharing)类调度算法中实时应用分组的排队时延较大且不稳定的局限性,该文提出一种新的分组排队调度算法,该调度算法在计算分组服务标签时添加了一个紧急程度函数,调整了到达分组间的竞争关系,从而可以按照实时性应用的要求来调整到达分组的转发先优级,由此显著降低了实时性应用分组的排队时延和抖动幅度。分析和仿真实验表明,与GPS类其它调度算法相比,该调度算法对于实时应用的分组能提供较低的、更稳定的排队时延保证,同时还继承了GPS类算法的公平性和排队时延有界等特性,而且对系统虚拟时间的跟踪计算更为简捷高效。
Accurate classification of Internet traffic based on packet sampling

Abstract: This paper originally proposed an early recognition method named ERBDPI based on deep packet inspection, after analyzing the distribution of payload signature between packets of a flow in detail. The basic concept of ERBDPI was classifying flows based on the payload signature of their first few packets, so that could identify traffic at the beginning of flow connection. Compared the performance of ERBDPI with that of traditional sampling methods using both synthetically and real-world traffic traces. The result shows that by selecting the suitable number of first few packets, ERBDPI can get more than 95% accuracy, while achieving the sample rate of 1/5 that of traditional sampling methods, which makes it suitable to online classification.
Bidirectional monitoring threat and simulation in IP Multimedia Subsystem

Abstract: Started with the IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) security mechanism, the flow of register and authentication in IMS were introduced; then combined with the ordinary threat in SIP protocol, the possibility of attack using the leak of SIP in IMS was analyzed. Based on this, adopting the theory of registration hijacking and server impersonating, a new threat named bidirectional monitoring was proposed. Function of CSCF in IMS was realized using Open SER. A network simulation environment was built to simulate the possibility of bidirectional monitoring. The result of the simulation proves that the threat of bidirectional monitoring is existent.
Design and Implementation of High Performance Simulation Platform for Switching and Scheduling

Abstract: Simulation has become a significant way for performance evaluations in switching and scheduling, however,the existing simulation softwares have some limitations in inheritability and cxtcnsibility.Based on the current crossbar switching fabric,by employing system level design method,and object oriented technology,a simulation platform called SPES(switching performance evaluation system)for switching fabrics and scheduling policies' developments are designed and implemented.Input queuing,output queuing,combined input-output queuing and combined input-crosspoint queuing and corresponding scheduling policies arc integrated.Inheritability and extensibility attributes are obtained by designing traffic sources,switching fabrics and scheduling policies separately,and it exhibits good performances for supporting multi-fabric,variable packets sizes and QoS model's simulations.By configuring the platform through a uniform view,users can fulfill their concrete simulation environment.Besides,it can carry out end to end performances' evaluations with little modification.Finally,this paper presents a simulation case based on combined input-crosspoint queuing switch,displaying the good performance of SPES.
New Limonoids and a Dihydrobenzofuran Norlignan from the Roots of Toona sinensis

Abstract: Two new limonoids, toonins A ( 1) and B ( 2), and one new dihydrobenzofuran norlignan, toonin C ( 3), were isolated from the roots of Toona sinensis together with the ten known compounds 4-methoxy-6-(2′,4′-dihydroxy-6′-methylphenyl)-pyran-2-one ( 4), bourjotinolone A ( 5), proceranone ( 6), matairesinol ( 7), 4-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzene-ethanol ( 8), syringic acid ( 9), isoscopoletin ( 10), lyoniresinol ( 11), aloeemodin ( 12), and β-sitosterol ( 13). Their structures were elucidated on the basis of one- and two-dimensional spectroscopic analysis. Isolation of compounds 4, 6– 13 from this plant is reported here for the first time.
A Two-Stage Distributed Shared Memory Architecture and its Scheduling Algorithms

Abstract: The capacity of high speed packet switch is limited by the random access time of commercially available memories and the rate of switch architecture. The key point to solve such a problem is improving switch architecture and using slow memories to realize high performance packet switch. In this paper, we propose a two-stage distributed shared memory architecture (TSDSM). The lower bound of it is also given. Scheduling algorithms for a TSDSM imitating a FCFS output-queued (OQ) switch and a FIFO OQ switch are given too. The validities of these algorithms are theoretically proved. Without speedup the TSDSM can be used to realize high speed packet switch with commercially available memories.
