Performance of Nth Worst Full-Duplex Relay Selection over Nakagami-M Fading Channels  [PDF]

The performance analysis of Nth worst relay selection for the full-duplex (FD) mode over Nakagami-m fading channels is studied. We assume the relay employs the amplify-and-forward (AF) protocol. The closed-form expres-sions for the outage performance in terms of the received signal-to-noise ratio cumulative distribution function are derived. In the high signal-to-noise ratio regime, asymptotic outage probability is also investigated. Based on these expressions, the effect of several important network parameters, i.e., the number of relays and the order of selected relay, as well as the quality of the relay links, source-relay links, relay-destination links, are analytically characterized. Finally, numerical results are provided to verify and illustrate our mathematical analysis.

Tumors have already threatened human life and health for centuries, especially the recurrent of bone metastases is difficult to cure. Relapse can occur years to decades after resection of primary tumor. This phenomenon is common in many clinical cases and animal experimental studies. The effect of traditional radiotherapy and chemotherapy on relapse is very limited, and the patients’ prognosis is poor. Because the delayed occurrence of metastases, researchers put forward a new concept “dormancy”, including a single dormant tumor cell (growth-arrest) and tumor mass dormancy (equivalence of the proliferation rate and apoptosis rate). It is probable that dormant tumor cells are the resource of relapse and the main reason of chemotherapy resistance. The mechanisms mediated tumor cell dormancy are complex and poorly understood, and bone marrow microenvironment plays an important role in this process. This review focuses on the bone marrow microenvironmental effect in inducing cancer cells to dormancy uncovered by the latest researches.

Characterization of nitrogen-fixing moderate halophilic cyanobacteria isolated from saline soils of Songnen Plain in China

Abstract: Twenty out of 200 isolates of cyanobacteria mainly from saline soils of Songnen Plain of China were successfully grown on BG11 N-free medium. The nitrogen-fixing activity was then demonstrated for the twenty isolates in modified BG11 medium using the acetylene reduction assay. All of them possessed appreciable nitrogenase activity (acetylene reduction) under non-saline conditions; however, at 5 % NaCl only 60 % of the isolates exhibited a high rate of this activity and 25 % were completely negative under these conditions. The cyanobacteria isolates grew well in BG11 medium; nevertheless, growth of the majority of isolates was reduced by about 25%-85% in the same medium containing 5% NaCl. Cellulolytic activity was detected in 50% of the twenty strains, amylolytic in 45%, and pectinolytic in 10% of the isolates. The cyanobacteria isolates showed also enzymeatic activity under saline conditions (6%). The preliminary identification indicated that seven isolates were Nostoc, two were Microcystis, four were Oscillatoria, six were Anabaena, and one isolate was Synechococcus.

Abstract: Inevitable conflicts in the workplace have dual effects on organizations. How to manage conflicts and make it play a constructive role in the organization is of great importance to the success of the organization. It is also one of the necessary management skills for managers. In order to enable managers to face up to conflicts, learn to manage conflicts in the right way, and play a constructive role in the organization. This paper studies conflict and conflict management behaviors by means of literature research. Firstly, this paper defines the meaning of conflict management and clarifies the specific content of conflict management. Then it reviews and analyses the research on conflict management by scholars at home and abroad. Finally, it points out the shortcomings of current research on conflict management, and briefly looks forward to the future development of conflict management research.
Weighted Network Evolution Model of Industry Technology Innovation Alliances Knowledge Transfer Based on Node Competitivenesss

Abstract: On the basis of the dynamic evolution and competition of the complex network of industry alliances together with the limitations of the BBV network model, a competitive merit-based dynamic evolution model is constructed. It not only considers the addition of new nodes, but also the deletion of old nodes, the rewiring of old nodes and the deletion of old links appear in the networks. By using continuum theory and mean field theory, the corresponding evolution equation is established. The strength and degree distribution of the model still has the power-rate characteristics of scale-free networks and BBV scale-free network is a special case. The correctness of the theoretical analysis is proved by the simulation. The results show that by adjusting the parameters, it can coincide with the power -low exponent of many complex networks. Therefore, the improved model is more adaptive and authenticity.

Abstract: Given the rise in popularity of river rafting, we need to schedule an optimal mix of trips of varying duration and propulsion to meet the needs of travelers and improve the company’s interests. To provide a wilderness experience for travelers, we should try to reduce the contacts during the traveling. We firstly analyze the traveling process. And one contact (on-river) is counted. We apply step-to-step method to this study. We firstly study this relationship when there is only one kind of travel days. Then we add another kind of travel days to draw the universal rule and finally we derive the relationship when there are many kinds of trips. In order to combine the contacts and company’s interests, we define two satisfaction degree functions by using fuzzy logic. We define a satisfaction degree function to describe the contacts. Then we define another function to describe the company’s interests. Lastly, we define a composite index to combine the two functions by giving them different weight. We base this model on maximizing this composite index and obtain the optimal schedule. When determining the carrying capacity of the river, we take contacts, company’s interests and river’s resources into account. In the same way, we define a satisfaction degree function for river’s resources. We finally define a composite index to combine the three factors by giving them different weights. We base this model on maximizing this composite index and derive the river’s carrying capacity.
Exploring the Electron Transfer Pathway in the Oxidation of Avermectin by CYP107Z13 in Streptomyces ahygroscopicus ZB01

Abstract: Streptomyces ahygroscopicus ZB01 can effectively oxidize 4″-OH of avermectin to form 4″-oxo-avermectin. CYP107Z13 is responsible for this site-specific oxidation in ZB01. In the present study, we explored the electron transfer pathway in oxidation of avermectin by CYP107Z13 in ZB01. A putative [3Fe-4S] ferredoxin gene fd68 and two possible NADH-dependent ferredoxin reductase genes fdr18 and fdr28 were cloned from the genomic DNA of ZB01. fd68 gene disruption mutants showed no catalytic activity in oxidation of avermectin to form 4″-oxo-avermectin. To clarify whether FdR18 and FdR28 participate in the electron transfer during avermectin oxidation by CYP107Z13, two whole-cell biocatalytic systems were designed in E. coli BL21 (DE3), with one co-expressing CYP107Z13, Fd68 and FdR18 and the other co-expressing CYP107Z13, Fd68 and FdR28. Both of the two biocatalytic systems were found to be able to mediate the oxidation of avermectin to form 4″-oxo-avermectin. Thus, we propose an electron transfer pathway NADH→FdR18/FdR28→Fd68→CYP107Z13 for oxidation of avermectin to form 4″-oxo-avermectin in ZB01.

Abstract: 摘 要: 立法语言审查程序乃是一项对立法语词、句式、篇章结构等文本表达进行审查的立法程序。管窥韩国“语言审查程序”的立法实践可知,该程序在纠正语言错误、提高立法质量、实现法律的规范性和确定性上已经凸显出十分积极的效果。反观我国的立法语言运用现状,立法语言失范现象层出不穷且日益严重。因此,伴随“科学立法”“民主立法”的提出以及《立法法》修改之契机,我国立法机关应当在借鉴韩国“语言审查程序”的基础上,设立立法语言审查主体,明确语言审查的内容,并建构一套完整的立法语言审查程序,以保证立法的质量。
Abstract: Legislative language checking procedure is to check the literal expressions, such as words, sentences and chapter structures in legislation. A look into the legislative experience on language checking procedure in South Korea shows positive effect on correcting language faults, improving the qualities of legislation and realizing the normalization and accuracy of law. However, in Chinese legislative language utilization, irregularities are increasingly serious. Therefore, with the opportunities of the proposition of “scientific legislation”, “democratic legislation” and the modification of Legislative Law, our state legislature should take measures as follows on drawing the experience from South Korea: set a legislative language checking subject, clarify the contents of language checking, and construct a set of integrated legislative language checking procedure. These measures can ensure the quality and normality of legislation

Abstract: As the Stock index futures with Cri 300 index for the subject matter launch, the research to stock options done by China’s financial market is gradually in-depth, which has great significance to the improvement of the financial markets. With the Black-Scholes option formula, this paper attempts to study the sensitivity of single stock’ call option named Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited to stock price changes, time changes and the situation that both of them occur. The simulation results were achieved based SAS, which not only has a very important practical significance to the launch of this kind financial derivative and the establish of a perfect pricing model of financial derivatives, but also can help financial market further promote economic growth.
