Three-defense Line Coordination Strategy of the Guizhou Power Grid with the New Security Situation  [PDF]

Abstract:

In order to meet the requirements of Decree of the State Council of the People's Republic of China (No.599), this paper presents a three-defense line coordination strategy based on the Decree of the State Council (No.599). Taking the Guizhou power grid of 220 kV&500 kV as an example, the security and stability problem of the Guizhou power grid is analyzed. The strategy using three-defense line coordination for lowering the level of electricity safety accidents is researched. The analysis results show that the proposed coordination strategy is feasible, which can lower the level of electricity safety accidents under the same fault in same operation mode. Through studying the three-defense line of the Guizhou power grid, this paper presents a basic idea of the three-defense line coordination strategy based on the Decree of the State Council (No.599). The three-defense line coordination strategy provides reference for other provinces power grid.

Abstract: Planar optical waveguides are the key elements in a modern, high-speed optical network. An important problem facing the optical fiber communication system, specifically planar optical waveguides, is coupling. The current study presents a coupling model for planar optical waveguides and optical fibers. The various effects of the optical properties of the coupling interface were analyzed by the scalar finite difference beam propagation method, including the thickness, with or without the matching refractive index of the interface adhesive. The findings can serve as a guide for planar optical waveguide packaging.

Abstract: This paper is devoted to the study of the coordinate stability in undirected networks of dynamical agents with time-varying transmission delay. Neighbor-based rules are adopted to realize local control strategies for these continuous-time autonomous agents. Sufficient and necessary conditions in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) are given to guarantee the coordination of dynamical agents. Numerical simulations are given and demonstrate that our theoretical results are effective.

Abstract: Misfolding and self-assembly of Amyloid-β (Aβ) peptides into amyloid fibrils is pathologically linked to the development of Alzheimer's disease. Polymorphic Aβ structures derived from monomers to intermediate oligomers, protofilaments, and mature fibrils have been often observed in solution. Some aggregates are on-pathway species to amyloid fibrils, while the others are off-pathway species that do not evolve into amyloid fibrils. Both on-pathway and off-pathway species could be biologically relevant species. But, the lack of atomic-level structural information for these Aβ species leads to the difficulty in the understanding of their biological roles in amyloid toxicity and amyloid formation.
Achieving Energy Proportionality In Server Clusters

Abstract: a great amount of interests in the past few years. Energy proportionality is a principal to ensure that energy consumption is proportional to the system workload. Energy proportional design can effectively improve energy efficiency of computing systems. In this paper, an energy proportional model is proposed based on queuing theory and service differentiation in server clusters, which can provide controllable and predictable quantitative control over power consumption with theoretically guaranteed service performance. Futher study for the transition overhead is carried out corresponding strategy is proposed to compensate the performance degradation caused by transition overhead. The model is evaluated via extensive simulations and is justified by the real workload data trace. The results show that our model can achieve satisfied service performance while still preserving energy efficiency in the system.

Abstract: This paper briefly explains some aspects that spurred Seton to organize the Woodcraft Indians, an organization that stresses the conservation of nature and character-building by means of outdoor activities and states that Seton's admiration of Native American traditions and life style has a profound influence on Woodcraft Movement. From Seton’s personal experiences, we can see that all his personal activities formed a solid foundation for his environmentally minded pursuits later in life. Woodcraft Movement is the legacy that the conservation pioneer Seton left to the humankind.

Abstract: Value appraisal of human resource in human resources accounting research field at the stage of exploration, so its research progress is slow, because the human resources value than other assets are more difficult to identify factors that affect, only grasp these factors of human resource value influence, can get more accurate assessment of the results. Based on the value of human resource accounting, human resource value assessment theory, from the practical perspective, the choice of Chongqing tripod communications company as a case, the use of human resources value assessment of the monetary measurement model and non monetary measurement methods, to the related data, the future wages reward discounting, human assets ratio of the value of human resources, personnel structure were assessed, analysis, comparison, thereby exposing out of the company in human resources management in the existing human resources assets ratio imbalance, the unreasonable personnel structure, employee turnover rate is too high, and give the enterprise management put forward to adjust the allocation of human resources, personnel structure and human resources management suggestions and measures.
The advertisement call of the giant spiny frog Paa spinosa

Abstract: We analyzed the advertisement call of Paa spinosa at Yuliang Mountain, Lanxi, Zhejiang province, in eastern China. Temporal and spectral call parameters were analyzed, along with call intensity. Calls comprised of three to seven notes, the last of which had the longest duration. Three formants (harmonics) were clearly distinguishable from the audio spectrogram. The dominant frequency ranged from 411-1534Hz, and was either the first or the second formant. The number of notes within a call was positively correlated to air temperature, so that calls contained more notes during the day. Also, the dominant frequency appeared to be lower at the highest temperature [Current Zoology 55 (6): 411 –415, 2009].
Study of Hybrid Strategy for Ambulatory ECG Waveform Clustering

Abstract: A hybrid strategy has been proposed to reduce the wrong clustering on Ambulatory ECG (electrocardiogram). Since Ambulatory ECG is usually composed by 24 hours data, the number of individual ECG waveform can reach to 100,000, the request for accurate clustering result is highly required. The proposed strategy adopted some intelligent algorithms to solve the above problem. It clusters ECG waveform sample (selected from Ambulatory ECG) synchronously by Max-Min distance clustering algorithm, K-means algorithm and Simulated annealing algorithm first. And then, it adopted all three outputs from the above three algorithms as input on Back Propagation Artificial Neural Network (BP ANN). In the end, we got more accurate clustering result from the output of ANN. For testing the results, data of MIT/BIH arrhythmia database were used for experiments. After the controlled trial on MIT/BIH data, it can be safely concluded that the clustering result achieved by improved strategy can got more accurate than that by the traditional clustering algorithm. An average accuracy ratio is about 94.6%, 1.6% higher than k-means algorithm averagely and 1.3% higher than Simulated Annealing algorithm averagely.
