Uniqueness of Radial Solutions for Elliptic Equation Involving the Pucci Operator  [PDF]
Yong Liu
Advances in Pure Mathematics (APM) , 2012, DOI: 10.4236/apm.2012.26061
Abstract: The solution of a nonlinear elliptic equation involving Pucci maximal operator and super linear nonlinearity is studied. Uniqueness results of positive radial solutions in the annulus with Dirichlet boundary condition are obtained. The main tool is Lane-Emden transformation and Koffman type analysis. This is a generalization of the corresponding classical results involving Laplace operator.
Analysis on the Effective Integration of Information Technology and Personnel Management in Colleges and Universities  [PDF]
Yong Liu
Creative Education (CE) , 2015, DOI: 10.4236/ce.2015.68081
Abstract: Along with the continuous economic and social development and the unceasing progress of science and technology, information technology has penetrated into every field of social life. Therefore, colleges and universities face with serious challenges in personnel management. This needs the continuous integration of information technology and the personnel management in colleges and universities to ensure the working efficiency. This paper first analyses the meaning of integration of information technology and the personnel management in colleges and universities, and then states the present situation of the personnel management information in colleges and universities, analyses the measures of the effective integration of information technology and the personnel management in colleges and universities.
The Influence of Network Technology on Higher Educational Management and Its Optimization Method  [PDF]
Yong Liu
Open Journal of Social Sciences (JSS) , 2015, DOI: 10.4236/jss.2015.39032
Abstract: The development of information technology and the coming of the era of knowledge economy have accelerated the upgrade of internet technology and let network technology walk into all walks of life as well as brought our life new influence. On the level of higher educational management, the internet information and multimedia technology play a more and more important role and they play an irreplaceable role in the reform of education management mode and the optimization of teaching contents.
The Path Choice of the Localization Course of MOOC in Chinese Colleges and Universities in the View of the Disputes behind the MOOC  [PDF]
Yong Liu
Open Journal of Social Sciences (JSS) , 2016, DOI: 10.4236/jss.2016.48007
Abstract: The birth of MOOC in 2012 caters to the long-standing appeal of administrators about teaching reform in world famous universities, and all colleges and universities have launched the MOOC. After several years of MOOC fanaticism, disputes about MOOC such as the cultural erosion tendency of MOOC, the security of MOOC big data, the effectiveness of MOOC teaching, appeared. From above disputes, highlighting the guiding role of national culture, paying attention to protect the security of MOOC big data, implementing national, social and school collaborative innovation in practice have become an inevitable path choice in the localization course of MOOC in Chinese colleges and universities.
The Model of Mobile Knowledge Services System in the Management of Complex Cluster Project  [PDF]
Yong Liu, Bingxin Liu
iBusiness (IB) , 2011, DOI: 10.4236/ib.2011.31006
Abstract: Cluster projects are projects of large-scale or with huge investment, such as Beijing 2008 Olympic Games and Shanghai 2010 Expo. A lot of on-site management works are involved in the process of cluster project management, especially the treatment of sudden accidents which would produce plenty of knowledge and experience. As cluster project on-site management spots change frequently, knowledge produced by mobile workers in the process of on-site management is hard to be saved into the knowledge repository on time. It may cause a knowledge distortion or even missing. On the other hand, in the process of cluster project management, a lot of knowledge is required by on-site workers to deal with on-site activities. However, due to lack of effective mechanisms for knowledge communion, they often face the risk of making wrong decisions. To solve the problems of knowledge management and acquisition in the process of cluster project on-site management, this paper presents a system model for mobile knowledge service.
A Modified Discrete-Time Jacobi Waveform Relaxation Iteration  [PDF]
Yong Liu, Shulin Wu
Applied Mathematics (AM) , 2011, DOI: 10.4236/am.2011.24064
Abstract: In this paper, we investigate an accelerated version of the discrete-time Jacobi waveform relaxation iteration method. Based on the well known Chebyshev polynomial theory, we show that significant speed up can be achieved by taking linear combinations of earlier iterates. The convergence and convergence speed of the new iterative method are presented and it is shown that the convergence speed of the new iterative method is sharper than that of the Jacobi method but blunter than that of the optimal SOR method. Moreover, at every iteration the new iterative method needs almost equal computation work and memory storage with the Jacobi method, and more important it can completely exploit the particular advantages of the Jacobi method in the sense of parallelism. We validate our theoretical conclusions with numerical experiments.
An Innovative Approach about the Process Knowledge Representation in the Processes of Large Cluster Projects Management  [PDF]
Yong Liu, Qiong Chen
iBusiness (IB) , 2010, DOI: 10.4236/ib.2010.24048
Abstract: The features of the large Cluster projects’ management processes, complexity, “one-off” and “irreversibility”, make the projects’ process knowledge hard to be expressed, analyzed and obtained accurately. It is also not convenient to be accumulated and disseminated, and can’t be learned and used by managers. However, such knowledge is the crystallization of human wisdom. It has an important role in promoting efficiency of projects management and increasing accumulation of social knowledge. A better way is needed to find for its representation and utilization. From the perspective of cluster project management department, this article takes a cluster project’s construction as an example, and proposes a suitable method for the process knowledge representation in large cluster projects’ management processes, combined with the Topic Maps and MFFC-Ⅱ & MLD-Ⅱ.
Performance of Mergers and Acquisitions under Corporate Governance Perspective  [PDF]
Yong Liu, Yongqing Wang
Open Journal of Social Sciences (JSS) , 2013, DOI: 10.4236/jss.2013.17004
Abstract:

This paper investigates the impact of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) on corporate performance. This article selects 36 M&A cases of China’s listed real estate companies in Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges from 2008 to 2009. Regarding the corporate value in 2011 as the measure of the long-term performance, we will explore the relationship among check-and-balance Ownership Structure, board size, and institutional investors impact the performance. This paper concludes a positive impact ownership structure on the M&A performance. In addition, the empirical analysis reveals that that the board size has a significant negative effect on the performance. Additionally, the results of the paper indicate that the CEO-Chairman duality has a significant impact on the long-term performance. Besides, institutional investors have positive effect on M&A performance.

Nondegeneracy of Solution to the Allen-Cahn Equation with Regular Triangle Symmetry  [PDF]
Yong Liu, Jun Wang
Advances in Pure Mathematics (APM) , 2014, DOI: 10.4236/apm.2014.44017
Abstract:

The Allen-Cahn equation on the plane has a 6-end solution U with regular triangle symmetry. The angle between consecutive nodal lines of U is \"\". We prove in this paper that U is non-degenerated in the class of functions possessing regular triangle symmetry. As an application, we show the existence of a family of solutions close to U.
