Abstract: There are a variety of ways to transfer the tacit knowledge within an enterprise, and job rotation is one of the effective tools. This article reveals the three-stage process enterprises transferring the tacit knowledge by implementing job rotation, and analyses the efficiency of tacit knowledge transferring among individuals in different job rotation situations, as well as the mechanism of knowledge transforming from individual knowledge to job knowledge. At last, a mechanism to manage tacit knowledge transferring by implementing job rotation is constructed, including specific targeting sub-mechanism, dynamic sub-mechanism and feedback sub-mechanism. Abstract: Since the 18th CPC National Congress, China has made a giant leap in anti-corruption movement. To look back on the past, Ming Dynasty’s touring censorial inspector was truly typical of the inspection regime in ancient China, because appointment of the feudal official thereof epitomized a well-designed counter-corruption mechanism, which was consisted of official selection, official supervision, touring obligation and returning examination. Naturally, such mechanism could have been contributed a lot to the anti-corruption campaign at that time. Moreover, it could be a valuable guide for the current Central Leading Group for Inspection Work, functioning like the inspector, to wipe out corruption. Instead, that appointment finally failed to save Ming Dynasty from perishing. Consequently, the dynasty went to collapse because of its own design of political institution, social institution and cultural tradition. Now these causes can still help the Central Leading Group exterminate corruption. In a nutshell, these are a great treasure passed down.

Abstract: Since the 18th CPC National Congress, China has cracked down hard on corruption. Among all the efforts, the Central Leading Group for Inspection Work has made the most contribution. As some people consider the Ming Dynasty’s Touring Censorial Inspectors as “China’s Ancient Central Leading Group for Inspection Work”, it is not difficult to find out certain similarity existing between these two kinds of anti-corruption mechanisms that have both made certain accomplishments. If boiled down to their nature, both the Central Leading Group for Inspection Work and the Touring Censorial Inspector System reflect the authorization-agency mechanism, which is plagued with asymmetric information and other problems. By comparing the Ming Dynasty’s Touring Censorial Inspectors, i.e. a typical example of the ancient inspection system, and the Central Leading Group for Inspection Work—the main anti-corruption body since the 18th CPC National Congress, lessons from the ancient practices can be drawn for today’s reference, which are both conducive to providing theoretical basis for advancing China’s current anti-corruption tasks and promoting the anti-corruption effectiveness and offer suggestions to enhance anti-corruption progress in China.
The Impact of US Stock Market on the Co-Movements of BRIC Stock Markets—Evidence from Linear Conditional Granger Causality  [PDF]

Abstract: This paper investigates the impact of the US stock market on the co-movements among the BRIC stock markets using conditional Granger causality which allows a comprehensive exploration on direct and indirect causality. The results from linear conditional causality test show a strong influence of the US stock market on the co-movements of BRIC. Our findings identify the US stock market which is the main inner factor making major contributions to the co-movements among the BRIC stock markets. Further, this study provides robust evidence that the co-movements cannot be significantly influenced by the common information factor. These findings show a more complete picture of the relationships between the US and the BRIC stock markets, offering important implications for policymakers and investors.

Efficient and Generic Construction of Certification-Based Encryption in the Standard Model Based on the NIZK Proof System

Abstract: Certificate-based encryption (CBE) is a new public key encryption paradigm which combines traditional PKI-based public-key encryption (PKE) and identity-based encryption (IBE), and preserves some of their most attractive features. CBE provides an efficient implicit certificate mechanism and allows a periodical update of certificate status. It eliminates third-party queries for the certificate status and simplifies the certificate revocation problem in the traditional PKI, while it solves the key escrow problem and the key distribution problem inherent in IBE. In this paper, we propose a new generic construction of CBE schemes from PKE and IBE, and prove it to be CCA-secure in the standard model. In our construction, we use an efficient one-time simulation-sound adaptive NIZK proof system as the security enhancing building block to guarantee the CCA-security of the generated CBE schemes. When compared to the previous method, the security requirements of the primitive encryption schemes in our construction are much weaker and the performance of the generated CBE schemes from our construction is much more efficient.

Abstract: Automated theorem proving on inequalities is always considered asa difficult topic in the area of automated reasoning. The relevallt algorithms dependfundamentally on real algebra and real geometry, and the computational complexityincreases very quickly with the dimension, that is, the number of parameters. Somewell-known algorithms are complete theoretically but inefficient in practice, whichcannot verify non-trivial propositions in batches. A dimension- decreasing algorit hmpresellted here can treat radicals efficiently and make the dimensions the lowest.Based upon this algorithm, a generic program called "BOTTEMA" was implementedon a personal computer. More than 1000 algebraic and geometric inequalities includ-ing hundreds of open problems have been verified in this way. This makes it possibleto check a finite many inequalities instead of solving a globaloptimization problem.

Neural regeneration was once considered to be impossible, especially in the central nervous system where neural regeneration comprise the generation of new neurons, glia, axons, myelin, and synapses. Until recently, neural stem cells/neural progenitor cells (NSCs/NPCs) were identified from various areas of brain and brought hopes to the neural repair and regeneration. Tissue engineering has revolutionized the current neural regeneration technology and it has become a pioneering interdisciplinary field in the areas of biomedical research. Polyhydoxyalkanoate (PHA) as one of biodegradable material has been successfully used as tissue engineering materials. It has also been applied in nerve tissue engineering due to the high biocompatibility and low cytotoxicity. Over the past 10 years, different kinds of modification strategies have been undertaken to improve the properties of PHA to fit the requirements from various fields. Several members of PHA family have been attempted for neural regeneration. This article reviewed the recent modification strategies for improving the properties of PHA and highlighted the pioneer applications in neural regeneration.

Abstract: The paper at first expounds two new concepts of sustainability degree and superiority degree, and founds a method of DEA of relative efficiency index to rank all decision-making-units having been identified efficient. On the basis of them, the definition and arithmetic are given to analyze them. Then seven input and output techno-innovation indexes which belong to six automobile listed companies from 2002 to 2005 are used to evaluate enterprises’ sustainability degree and superiority degree by vertical and horizontal calculation based on DEA method. At last, we get general conclusions about enterprises’ sustainable superiority degree by weighting calculation.

Abstract: Solar thermal power is currently one of the important trends and research hotspots of solar energy. In present paper, basic physical model is proposed to investigate the solar thermal power, and the operating temperature is optimized to maximize the electricity generating efficiency. When the concentrated energy flux rises, the absorption efficiency of heat receiver will first increase and then decrease, while the increasing of flow velocity can improve the absorption performance. As the working temperature rising, the heat loss of infrared radiation and natural convection increases quickly, so the absorption efficiency obviously decreases, while the Carnot efficiency of the steam turbine cycle will rise. Because of the coupling effects of the heat absorption cycle and turbine cycle, the electricity generating efficiency will reach maximum with the optimal working temperature.
