Hierarchical Resource Load Balancing Based on Multi-Agent in ServiceBSP Model  [PDF]

Abstract: Based on ServiceBSP model, a hierarchical resource load balancing algorithm with Multi-Agent is put forward in this paper which achieves the goal of dynamic load balancing and favorable Fault-tolerant. The algorithm calculates the load value according to the attributes of resource and scheduling tasks relies on the load value, while updating the load information dynamically depending on Multi-Agent. The method avoids frequent communications on load information. Furthermore, the paper introduces the function of agents, relations and communications among agents in details. Finally, by comparing response time and distribution of load using proposed method with other available methods such as without no load balancing and load balancing only giving regards to CPU, the experimental simulation shows that the load balancing based on Multi-Agent possesses superior performance on response time and load balancing.

Abstract: N, N, N′, N′-tetrakis-(2-benzimidazolylmethyl)-1, 2-ethanediamine(TBIMEDA), was prepared by reaction of ethylenediamine tetra-acetic acid disodium salt(EDTA) with 1, 2-diaminobenzene in a refluxed glycol solution, and furthermore, three allomeric complexes[(MIITBIMEDA) SO4·5H2O, M = Cd, Co, Ni] were selfassembled by solvothermal method based on reaction of this ligand with the relative sulfates respectively. These allomeric complexes were characterized by elemental analysis and IR spectroscopy and their crystal structures were determined by single crystal X-ray structural analysis. In the crystal architecture of these complexes, every metal(II) ion is chelated by one neutral TBIMEDA ligand to form an octahedral core with configuration of five heterocyclic rings (five- member ring). These cores then were linked to- gether by multi hydrogen bond interactions with sul- fate ions and water molecules to construct their 3D crystal architectures.

A New Method to Determine the Grid Directions in Reservoir Numerical Simulation  [PDF]

Abstract: Grid direction selection and grid size design are two important elements that need to be considered in the grid direction design in reservoir numerical simulation. Reservoir engineers normally utilize geological data (such as the distribution of fractures, low permeability zones, faults and major stress) and simulation experiences to design the grid direction of simulation model qualitatively. The research of the paper indicates that the key to determine the grid direction is to determine the principal permeability direction. Under the circumstances of few static materials, a new grid direction determination method has been developed by using field data (well location map and inter-well permeability) on the bases of Darcy’s law and tensor analysis theory. The grid direction of WZ11-7 Oilfield simulation model has been determined using four production wells and two production zones (L1 and L3) in WZ11-7-2 well group, the results are in conformity with the geological studied major stress. Therefore, this method can give insights into the numerical simulation study.

Abstract: Two asymmetric porphyrins, 5-(4-chloromethylphenyl)-10, 15, 20-triphenyl porphyrin and 5-(4-formylphenyl)-10, 15, 20-triphenyl porphyrin, were successfully prepared by the symmetric meso-tetraphenyl porphyrin and relative molecular configurations and properties were characterized by spectral determinations. This work presented an example for synthesis of asymmetric porphyrin derivatives from the symmetric porphyrin. Both asymmetric porphyrins are reactive in molecular assembly, the concerned reactions including alkylation with Grignard reagents, etherification with alcohols, aldol condensation and Mannich reaction for modification and enhancing their functionality. In this work, the reaction conditions were improved, synthetic strategy and route were confirmed.

Abstract: In an alkaline methanol solution, dimerization of 1-phenyl-1H-tetrazole-5-thiol (HL) was carried out over metalloporphyrin catalysts under mild conditions. The dimer product, 1,2-bis (1-phenyl-1H-tetrazol-5-yl) disulfane (L-L), was characterized by determinations of infrared (IR), HPLC, NMR and elementary analysis respectively. In situ UV-Vis spectroscopic analysis and cyclic voltammetric (CV) determinations suggested that the active intermediate for L-L formation is an axially ligated complex, RS-MnTHPP, which decomposes into a MnTHPP molecule and a stable radical (SR) for coupling to form the disulfane. Meanwhile MnIITHPP molecule can be oxidized easily to form MnTHPP species again by oxygen from the air for using in next catalytic circle.

Notch 1 and NF-κB Expression and Clinical Correlation in Chinese Patients with Lymphoblastic Lymphoma  [PDF]

Abstract:

T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia/lymphoma (T-ALL/T-LBL) is commonly associated with Notch 1 mutations. There is limited data on the relationship between Notch l and NF-κB expression and clinical features in LBL. We evaluated the expression of Notch l and NF-κB in LBL using immunohistochemistry and analyzed their relationship with clinical characteristics, treatment results, and survival. From October 2000 to August 2008, 34 untreated patients with LBL were enrolled in the study. Median age was 11.8 years (range, 1 - 25 years). Twenty-five patients were diagnosed with T-LBL and 9 patients with B-LBL. Most patients received chemotherapy consisting of modified ALL-BFM- 90. Notch l showed high expression in 68% of T-LBL and low expression in 100% of B-LBL (p = 0.015). High expression of Notch l positively correlated with presence of a mediastinal mass but not with 5-year event free survival (EFS) in T-LBL. NF-κB showed high expression in 65% of all patients with LBL, with no difference between T- and B-LBL. NF-κB expression was higher in T-LBL patients with bulky disease and B symptom; it did not correlate with 5-year EFS in T-LBL. Expression of Notch 1 and NF-κB strongly correlated (p = 0.014) in T-LBL. Notch 1 is highly ex- pressed in T-LBL. NF-κB is highly expressed in all patients with LBL with no difference between T-LBL and B-LBL. Notch 1 expression was significantly associated with NF-κB expression in T-LBL. Notch l and NF-κB may play an important role in the development of T-LBL; further investigation is warranted.

Abstract: A new definition of dissipativity for neural networks is presented in this paper.By constructing proper Lyapunov func-tionals and using some analytic techniques,sufficient conditions are given to ensure the dissipativity of neural networks with or without time-varying parametric uncertainties and the integro-differential neural networks in terms of linear matrix inequalities.Numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the obtained results.
