Abstract: We report the experimental set-up and measurement system combining with a fast-scan Fourier transform spectrometer for photothermal ionization spectroscopy. They have been successfully applied for the investigation and detection of residual shallow impurity centers in ultra-pure germanium and silicon single crystals with high resolution as well as high sensitivity. Boron acceptor at a concentration of the order of magnitude of 108 cm-3 has been detected in ultra-pure germanium, and the detection limit of at least 107 cm-3 has been demonstrated. Lithiumoxygen donor complex D(Li, O) has been revealed in n-type highpurity silicon. Transition line series of both boron acceptor and phosphorus donor in p-type high-purity silicon have been observed simultaneously with the excitation of intrinsic light. In addition, the transitions associated with higher excited states of shallow impurities in both germanium and silicon have also been observed.

Abstract: 摘要 本文采用电化学方法,制备了一种便于回收和分离的柔性锌镍/铝层状双羟基/碳纤维(ZnNi/Al-LDHs/CFs) 复合材料. 采用X 射线衍射、红外光谱、场发射扫描电镜、电感耦合等离子体原子发射光谱和电化学阻抗光谱技术表征了ZnNi/Al-LDHs/CFs 复合材料的结构、形貌和光电催化性能. 与单独使用Zn/Al-LDHs/CFs 作为光催化剂或Ni/Al-LDHs/CFs 作为电催化剂相比较,ZnNi/Al-LDHs/CFs 复合材料显示了良好的光-电双功能催化特性,既可被用作乙醇和甲醇氧化的电催化剂,也可光电协同催化 2,6-二氯苯酚降解

Abstract: The far-infrared reflectance and transmittance spectra of natural FeS2(Pyrite) at room and low temperatures are reported in this artical. The spectral structure and the physical origin are discussed in detail. Through our research we found that the plasmon reflectance edge at low frequency of room temperature reflectance spectra of FeS2(Pyrite) samples have a close relation with the natural impurity: PbS(Galena) in samples. We use the reflectance spectra at room temperature of FeS2(Pyrite) and PbS (Galena) mineral single crystals as basic spectra to reproduce the experimental spectra of different samples in various proportions. the x values we obstained form it not only reflect the relative quantities of PbS (Galena) impurity, but also have positive correlation with the noble metal: Au(Gold) indirectly. This may have some applications in mineral formation research.
The Research of Status’s Influence on Consumers’ Self-Brand Connection with Luxury Brands: Moderating Role of Self-Esteem and Vanity*  [PDF]

Abstract: With the rapid development of social economy and the improvement of living quality, consumers are inclined to demonstrate their social status by using luxury brands today. This research explores the influence that the status of consumers makes on their self-brand connection with luxury brands, as well as the regulating effect of self-esteem and vanity from the perspective of Chinese cultural background. The analysis of the data shows that: in traditional Chinese cultural background, the higher the status of the consumer is, the higher the comsumer’s self-brand connection with luxury brands is, and vice verse. Self-esteem and vanity have a regulating effect on this relationship. When consumers’ self-esteem level is low, if their status is lower too, then their self-brand connection with luxury brands is higher than that of the high status; and when consumers’ self-esteem level is high, the result is opposite. The level of consumers’ social status has no significant effect on their self-brand connection with luxury brands when they are in low vanity, while to highly peacockish consumers, the self-brand connection with luxury brands of those with low status is significantly lower than that of the high status. We also have discussed the results and given the marketing proposal in the end.

Abstract: We associate to a localizable module a left retraction of algebras; it is a homological ring epimorphism that preserves singularity categories. We study the behavior of left retractions with respect to Gorenstein homological properties (for example, being Gorenstein algebras or CM-free). We apply the results to Nakayama algebras. It turns out that for a connected Nakayama algebra $A$, there exists a connected self-injective Nakayama algebra $A'$ such that there is a sequence of left retractions linking $A$ to $A'$; in particular, the singularity category of $A$ is triangle equivalent to the stable category of $A'$. We classify connected Nakayama algebras with at most three simple modules according to Gorenstein homological properties.

Lipid management in the prevention of stroke: a meta-analysis of fibrates for stroke prevention

Abstract: Background Fibrates has been extensively used to improve plasma lipid levels and prevent adverse cardiovascular outcomes. However, the effect of fibrates on stroke is unclear at the present time. We therefore carried out a comprehensive systematic review and meta-analysis to evaluate the effects of fibrates on stroke. Methods We systematically searched Medline, Embase, the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, reference lists of articles, and proceedings of major meetings to identify studies for our analysis. We included randomized placebo controlled trials which reported the effects of fibrates on stroke. Relative risk (RR) was used to measure the effect of fibrates on the risk of stroke under random effect model. The analysis was further stratified by factors that could affect the treatment effects. Results Overall, fibrate therapy was not associated with a significant reduction on the risk of stroke (RR, 1.02, 95% CI, 0.90 to 1.16, P = 0.78). In the subgroup analyses, we observed that gemfibrozil therapy showed a beneficial effect on stroke (RR, 0.72, 95% CI, 0.53 to 0.98, P = 0.04). Similarly, fibrate therapy comparing to placebo had no effect on the incidence of fatal stroke. Subgroup analysis suggested that fibrate therapy showed an effect on fatal stroke when the Jadad score more than 3 (RR, 0.41, 95% CI, 0.17 to 1.00, P = 0.049). Furthermore, a sensitivity analysis indicated that fibrate therapy may play a role in fatal stroke (RR, 0.49, 95% CI, 0.26 to 0.93, P = 0.03) for patients with previous diabetes, cardiovascular disease or stroke. Conclusions Our study indicated that fibrate therapy might play an important role in reducing the risk of fatal stroke in patients with previous diabetes, cardiovascular disease or stroke. However, it did not have an effect on the incidence of stroke.
