Abstract: The precipitation of paraffin, which is hard to avoid, will cause a lot of damage during the whole oil-gas production segments, such as wellbore damaging, pipeline blocking, recovery ratio decreasing etc. So, this paper analyzed the effects after the precipitation of paraffin qualitatively and quantitatively. Using rock-capillary model to simulate the formation pore volume, and deducts the variation between paraffin precipitation and formation parameters using the correlation among surface area to volume ratio, porosity and permeability etc. We provide a theoretical foundation for oil-gas developing dynamic prediction after the precipitation of paraffin.
Expression of interleukin-22/STAT3 signaling pathway in ulcerative colitis and related carcinogenesis

Abstract: AIM: To investigate the expression of interleukin (IL)-22 and its related proteins in biopsy specimens from patients with ulcerative colitis (UC) and UC-related carcinogenesis. METHODS: Biopsy specimens were obtained from patients with inactive (n = 10), mild-to-moderately active (n = 30), severely active (n = 34), initial (n = 30), and chronic UC (n = 44), as well as UC patients with dysplasia (n = 10). Specimens from patients without colonic abnormalities (n = 20) served as controls. Chronic colitis in experimental mice was induced by 2.5% dextran sodium sulfate. The expression levels of IL-22, IL-23, IL-22R1 and phosphorylated STAT3 (p-STAT3) were determined by immunohistochemistry. Bcl-2, cyclin D1 and survivin expression was detected by Western blotting. RESULTS: Patients with active UC had significantly more IL-22, IL-23, IL-22R1 and p-STAT3-positive cells than the patients with inactive UC and normal controls. Furthermore, IL-22 and related proteins were closely related to the severity of the colitis. The expression of IL-22 and IL-22R1 in the tissue of initial UC was stronger than in that of chronic UC, whereas the expression of p-STAT3 was significantly increased in chronic UC tissues. In dysplasia tissues, the expression level of IL-22 and related proteins was higher compared with controls. Mouse colitis model showed that expression of IL-22, IL-22R1 and IL-23 was increased with time, p-STAT3 and the downstream gene were also remarkably upregulated. CONCLUSION: IL-22/STAT3 signaling pathway may be related to UC and UC-induced carcinogenesis and IL-22 can be used as a biomarker in judging the severity of UC.
Luminescence Characteristics of Dy3+ Activated LiCaBO3 Phosphor

Abstract: LiCaBO3 y3+ phosphor was synthesized by solid-state method. LiCaBO3 y3+ phosphor shows several bands peaking at 484, 577 and 668nm. Monitoring at 577nm peak, the excitation spectrum has several bands peaking at 331, 368, 397, 433, 462 and 478nm. The emission spectrum and luminescence intensity of LiCaBO3 y3+ phosphor were investigated by varying Dy3+ concentration. The result shows that the ratio (Y/B) of yellow emission (577nm) to blue emission (484nm) increases with increasing Dy3+ concentration. Moreover, the luminescence intensity firstly increases and then decreases with increasing Dy3+ concentration, and reaches the maximum at 3.00mol% Dy3+. And the concentration quenching mechanism is the d-d interaction by Dexter theory. The emission intensity of LiCaBO3 y3+ phosphor is enhanced with doping Li+, Na+ or K+. The InGaNa2based LiCaBO3 y3+ shows a nice white-emitting, and the CIE chromaticity is (x=0.3001, y=0.3152).
Preparation and Luminescent Characteristics ofKBaPO4,Tb3+ Phosphor

Abstract: A green phosphor, KBaPO4:Tb3+, was synthesized by the high temperature solid―state method, using Li2CO3, Na2CO3, K2CO3, BaCO3, NH4H2PO4, NH4Cl, Tb4O7 and CeO2 as starting materials. After these individual materials were blended and grounded thoroughly in an agate mortar, the homogeneous mixture was heat―treated at 950 for 3 h, and the phosphors were obtained. The samples was characterized by powder X―ray diffraction (XRD) (D/max―rA, Cu Ka, 40 kV, 40 mA, λ=0.15406 nm). The spectral characteristics of these phosphors were measured by a SHIMADZU RF―540 fluorescence spectrophotometer. KBaPO4:Tb3+ phosphor shows several emission peaks located at 437, 490, 545, 586 and 622 nm which correspond to the 5D3→7F4 and 5D4→7FJ=6. 5, 4, 3 transition of Tb3+, respectively, and the highest emission peak is 545 nm. Monitored at 545 nm emission, the excitation spectrum consists of several bands, and the highest peak locates at 380 nm. The effects of Tb3+ doping content, the compensators (Li+, Na+, K+ or Cl―), and the sensitize activator Ce3+ on the emission intensity of KBaPO4: Tb3+ phosphor are studied. The results show that the emission intensity can be controlled by the above factors, and the intensity can be enhanced by the selection of the optimal condition. It indicates that KBaPO4:Tb3+ is a promising green phosphor for white light emitting diodes.
Preparation and luminescence characteristics of Eu2+ activated Ca3SiO5 green-emitting phosphor

Abstract: The preparation and the luminescent properties of green_emitting phosphor Ca_3SiO_5:Eu 2+ have been studied. The broad green emission band with the peak located at 502 nm which consists of a main and a subsidiary emission peak at 501 nm and 570 nm,respectively,originate from the centers of Eu 2+ ions. There are two different Eu 2+ emitting centers in Ca_3SiO_5:Eu 2+ ,which has been confirmed by the experiment results and empirical formula of Van Uitert,and the Eu 2+ ions occupy Ca 2+ sites with coordination number 8 and 4 in this phase. The excitation spectra extend from 250 nm to 450 nm and the excitation peak positions are located around 375 nm. The phosphor can be excited effectively by InGaN chip emitting in the range of 350? ?10 nm.
A Closed-Form Model for Position-Dependent Potential across the Channel in DG-MOSFETs

Abstract: A closed-form model for electrostatic potential distribution in the direction normal to the channel for double-gate (DG) MOSFETs is presented. The effects of doping (NA for nMOS) and minority carriers both are taken into account for the first time, in solving Poisson's equation analytically. Excellent agreement between model-predicted results and numerical device simulation is achieved for a wide range of body thickness, light or high channel-doping, under various bias conditions. This complete closed form for position-dependent potential distribution has wide applications for MOS compact modelling and device design.
Phase--field model of isothermal solidification withmultiple grains growth

Abstract: This paper develops a new phase--field model for equiaxed dendrite growth of multiple grains in multicomponent alloys based on the Ginzberg--Landau theory and phase--field model of a single grain. Taking Al--Cu and Al--Cu--Mg alloys for example, it couples the concentration field and simulates the dendrite growth process of multiple grains during isothermal solidification. The result of the simulation shows dendrite competitive growth of multiple grains, and is reapplied to the process of dendrite growth in practical solidification.

Effects of Baihe Recipe on expressions of vascular endothelial growth factor and p53 proteins in tumor tissues of nude mice bearing orthotopically transplanted gastric carcinoma BGC-823

Abstract: Objective: To investigate the effects of Baihe Recipe, a compound traditional Chinese herbal medicine, on growth and metastasis of orthotopically transplanted gastric carcinoma and the expressions of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and p53 proteins in the tumor tissues in nude mice.Methods: Forty-five nude mice orthotopically transplanted with BGC-823 human gastric cancer cells were randomly divided into three groups: Baihe Recipe group, 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) group and untreated group. The mice in the Baihe Recipe group received intragastric administration of 0.5 mL Baihe Recipe (crude drug content was 0.2 g/mL) for 6 weeks, and the mice in the untreated group received 0.5 mL normal saline. The mice in the 5-FU group received an intraperitoneal injection of 5-FU dilution (0.2 mL, 60 mg/kg per week, for 3 weeks). All mice were sacrificed after 6-week treatment. The weights of tumor and the growth-inhibiting rate were measured and the expressions of VEGF and p53 proteins were detected by immunohistochemical method.Results: The growth inhibition rates in the Baihe Recipe and 5-FU groups were 52.86% and 42.87% respectively. The incidence rates of metastasis to perigastric and hepatic portal lymph nodes, and to liver and peritoneum in the Baihe Recipe and 5-FU groups were lower than those in the untreated group. The metastasis rates in Baihe Recipe group, 5-FU group and untreated group were 33.33%, 35.71% and 80.00% respectively, with significant difference (P<0.05), and the expressions of VEGF and p53 proteins in tumor tissues in the Baihe Recipe group were lower than those in the untreated group and the 5-FU group (P<0.01, P<0.05).Conclusion: Baihe Recipe has inhibitory effects on tumor growth and metastasis of gastric cancer orthotopically transplanted in nude mice by down-regulating the expressions of VEGF and p53 proteins.

Abstract: 采用固相法制备了LiCaBO3∶Dy3+发光材料. 材料的发射光谱为一多峰宽谱, 主峰分别为484、577和668nm; 监测577nm发射峰, 对应的激发光谱为一主峰位于331、368、397、433、462和478nm的宽谱. 研究了Dy3+浓度对材料发射光谱及发光强度的影响, 结果随Dy3+浓度的增大, 材料的黄、蓝发射峰强度比(Y/B)逐渐增大; 同时, 发光强度呈现先增大后减小的趋势, 最大值对应的Dy3+浓度为3.00mol%, 其浓度猝灭机理为电偶极电偶极相互作用. 引入Li+、Na+或K+可增强材料的发射强度. InGaN管芯激发下的LiCaBO3∶Dy3+材料呈现很好的白光发射, 色坐标为x=0.3001, y=0.3152.
