Fabrication of Poly(Aspartic Acid)-Nanogold Modified Electrode and Its Application for Simultaneous Determination of Dopamine, Ascorbic Acid, and Uric Acid  [PDF]

Abstract: A nanostructured polymer film incorporated gold nanoparticles modified electrode was fabricated. The fabrication process involved a previous electropolymerization of aspartic acid and followed by the eletrodeposition of gold nano-particles on the glassy carbon electrode. The resulting poly (aspartic acid)-nanogold modified electrode (PAA- nano-Au/GCE) was characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and electrochemical impedance spectros-copy (EIS). A higher catalytic activity was obtained to electrocatalytic oxidation of dopamine (DA), ascorbic acid (AA) and uric acid (UA) due to the enhanced peak current and well-defined peak separations compared with three, bare GCE, PAA/GCE and nano-Au/GCE. Simultaneous determination of DA, AA, and UA were studied by voltammetry. The linear range of 5.0 × 10-7 - 1.0 × 10-4 M for DA, 5.0 × 10-6 - 2.0 × 10-3 M for AA and 5.0 × 10-6 - 1.0 × 10-3 M for UA was obtained. The detection limit was calculated for DA, AA and UA as being 6.5 × 10-8 M, 5.6 × 10-7 M and 3.0 × 10-7 M, respectively (S/N = 3). The practical application of the present modified electrode was demonstrated by the determination of DA, AA and UA in calf serum and fetal calf serum samples.

First, contradictions between the stock market pricing and the issue of audit. Second, the sponsor closely with the interests of the issuer to issue overvalued. Third, the IPO allocation system is not reasonable inquiry agencies compete to improve the offer of new shares. Reform and perfect the system of IPO, through the system arrangement of the system to achieve. Through accelerate commercialize reform pace, gradually the practice registration system to create the conditions for the future. We should strengthen the issue of market supervision, increase irregularities punishment. The government should further improve the current IPO way of inquiry. The Analysis and Comparison of All Kinds of Buried Pipeline Model Based on Seismic Effect  [PDF]

Abstract: The problem of seismic response of buried pipeline aimed at the interaction of soil around the pipeline and the complicated calculation model was considered, and the various simplified finite element model was calculated, and it was analyzed. Firstly, the ADINA finite element analysis software was used. The four nodes in shell unit were used by tube. The spring unit was used by soil spring. The analysis model of buried pipeline finite element numerical based on tension and compression spring was established. Seismic wave was input. The response to the simple boundary, viscoelastic boundary earthquake were calculated and analyzed by the finite element numerical simulation. The pipeline’s earthquake ground motion response was obtained, and was compared with the real soil model, and the most suitable simplified calculation model for numerical analysis of buried pipeline was found, which was the numerical analysis model of buried pipeline pressure spring tension finite element based on the viscoelastic boundary, and the theory basis for the seismic design of pipeline was provided.

Abstract: Large plane displays are often achieved by combining tiled imaging elements, which give the appearance of a single, seamless display. However, this is difficult to realize in practical use, since differences in color will make the tiles dis-tinct even if the geometric calibration is perfect. The paper presents an approach of color calibration using cubic B- spline. According to the theory of cubic B-spline, we construct the color transfer function of each projector. This ap-proach reduces the color and photometric non-uniformities to achieve seamless tiled multi-projector display well. Finally, we propose the difference between blending region and overlapping region which can help to achieve a better effect of alpha blending.
Estimating Temporal Causal Interaction between Spike Trains with Permutation and Transfer Entropy

Abstract: Estimating the causal interaction between neurons is very important for better understanding the functional connectivity in neuronal networks. We propose a method called normalized permutation transfer entropy (NPTE) to evaluate the temporal causal interaction between spike trains, which quantifies the fraction of ordinal information in a neuron that has presented in another one. The performance of this method is evaluated with the spike trains generated by an Izhikevich’s neuronal model. Results show that the NPTE method can effectively estimate the causal interaction between two neurons without influence of data length. Considering both the precision of time delay estimated and the robustness of information flow estimated against neuronal firing rate, the NPTE method is superior to other information theoretic method including normalized transfer entropy, symbolic transfer entropy and permutation conditional mutual information. To test the performance of NPTE on analyzing simulated biophysically realistic synapses, an Izhikevich’s cortical network that based on the neuronal model is employed. It is found that the NPTE method is able to characterize mutual interactions and identify spurious causality in a network of three neurons exactly. We conclude that the proposed method can obtain more reliable comparison of interactions between different pairs of neurons and is a promising tool to uncover more details on the neural coding.
Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging for Imaging Neural Activity in the Human Brain: The Annual Progress

Abstract: Functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) is recently developed and applied to measure the hemodynamic response related to neural activity. The fMRI can not only noninvasively record brain signals without risks of ionising radiation inherent in other scanning methods, such as CT or PET scans, but also record signal from all regions of the brain, unlike EEG/MEG which are biased towards the cortical surface. This paper introduces the fundamental principles and summarizes the research progress of the last year for imaging neural activity in the human brain. Aims of functional analysis of neural activity from fMRI include biological findings, functional connectivity, vision and hearing research, emotional research, neurosurgical planning, pain management, and many others. Besides formulations and basic processing methods, models and strategies of processing technology are introduced, including general linear model, nonlinear model, generative model, spatial pattern analysis, statistical analysis, correlation analysis, and multimodal combination. This paper provides readers the most recent representative contributions in the area.

Abstract: By using the Razumikhin technique and Lyapunov functions, we investigated the impulsive exponential stabilization of functional differential systems with infinite delay. A new result on the exponential stabilization by impulses is gained. Our result shows that impulses can make unstable systems stable. A numerical example is given to illustrate the feasibility of the result.

Abstract: In a city like Shanghai, where one of the biggest and fastest growing of both the population and quantity of housing demand and supply in the world exists, the need to estimate the influence of population transition on housing demand becomes a vital task. This research presented the characteristics of Shanghai’s population transition in future and then housing demand in future is forecasted; finally, the strategy to control the housing market is presented. The results revealed that the population characteristics, the housing demand and the control strategy has interaction relationship with each other: the population characteristics and trend such as population quantity and structure lay in five points, which decides the housing demand in six ways and then it will decide the six strategies needed to control the housing market in Shanghai; while the latter ones will adapt to the variation of the former ones. Abstract: In this paper, we construct finite blow-up examples for symplectic mean curvature flows and we study properties of symplectic translating solitons. We prove that, the K\"ahler angle $\alpha$ of a symplectic translating soliton with $\max |A|=1$ satisfies that $\sup |\alpha|>\frac{\pi}{4}\frac{|T|}{|T|+1}$ where $T$ is the direction in which the surface transltes.
