MicroRNA Let-7g and Atherosclerosis Plaque Stabilization  [PDF]

Vascular atherosclerotic vulnerable plaque rupture is the primary cause of acute myocardial infarctions and strokes. Thus, stabilization of vulnerable plaques is of important clinical endeavor to decrease the fatal risk of atherosclerosis. Inflammatory infiltration, apoptosis of endothelial cells (ECs) and vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs), destruction of extracellular matrix (ECM) or collagen, and neovascularization all contribute to the formation and stability of plaque. Let-7g, one miRNA of let-7 family, is related to retardation of the progress of vulnerable atherosclerosis plaque. First of all, let-7g induced preservation on vascular diseases through regulating on the intracellular Ca2+- activated protein kinase C-oxLDL-LOX-1 pathway, which resulted in reduced leukocyte adhesion to and migration across endothelium. Over expression of let-7g negatively regulated apoptosis in the ECs by targeting lectin-like oxidized LDL receptor-1(LOX-1)/CASP3 expression, therefore made the fibrous cap of plaque integrated and thick, increased the density of vascular atherosclerotic plaque. In addition, let-7g might stabilize the atherosclerotic plaque through other aspects. In this review, we focus on current and potential importance of let-7g on the stabilization of atherosclerosis plaque which might lead to the future development of an alternative strategy of CAD.

Abstract: One Belt One Road (OBOR) initiative is a historical initiative which connects the people over the world and facilitates various opportunities for global peace. The main purpose of this study is to explore implication of One Belt One Road initiative for global future development. It also analyzes the reasons of origin, strategy, opportunities and challenges of OBOR initiatives on the basis of business, economic, political, social and environmental aspects. This study uses qualitative approach and secondary data particularly journal articles, conference proceedings, various documents of government, books, newspaper articles, magazine articles, and various websites of internet have been extensively used to determine the objectives. This article argues that partner countries and agencies will get economic and political benefits from these initiatives. It facilitates to connect people through road ways, air ways and water ways, coordinating policies of various governments, financial integration through cross border business, productivity and regional energy security. This study also analyzes risks and challenges associated to OBOR initiative implementation. It suggests that strong coordination among partners of OBOR is necessary to get full fruits of OBOR through supportive law, policy, rules and regulations, proper strategy implementation, transparent procurement system, sincere consideration on political, financial, environmental and social factors.

Abstract: In this paper, we firstly give a counterexample to indicate that the chain rule \"\" is lack of accuracy. After that, we put forward the fractional Riccati expansion method. No need to use the chain rule, we apply this method to fractional KdV-type and fractional Telegraph equations and obtain the tangent and cotangent functions solutions of these fractional equations for the first time.

Abstract: Biomimetic calcium phosphate (CaP) coating has been used successfully for protein delivery, but the release of protein from CaP coating is mainly dependent on the limited dissolution of the CaP coating and the passive diffusion of the protein in the CaP coating. In the present work, our aim is to improve the release behavior of protein from CaP coating and make it more controllable. By using bovine serum albumin (BSA) as a model protein, our strategy is to tailor BSA release profiles by controlling the distribution of BSA in CaP coatings. To achieve this aim, BSA was added to a modified simulated body fluid (m-SBF) at different stages of coating formation to obtain tailored BSA release profiles. Sustained BSA release was obtained when BSA was added to m-SBF at the initial stage of the coating where the BSA was incorporated into the lattice structure of the coating. In contrast, a relatively faster release was observed when BSA was added during the later stage of coating formation where BSA was mainly adsorbed to the coating surface. As a result, the BSA release efficiency could be tailored by adding BSA into m-SBF at different coating formation stages. More importantly, the coating composition was not altered with the change of BSA adding times and all the beneficial properties of the biomimetic coating were reserved. Therefore, the BSA release from CaP coatings can be tailored by adjusting its distribution in the coating to achieve a more satisfactory release profile.

Abstract: The economic data usually can be also composed into a deterministic part and a random part. We establish ordinary differential equations (ODE) model for the deterministic part from a purely mathematical point of view, via the prin-ciple of integral and difference, establishing ()ARIMApdq,, model for the random part, to combine the two estab-lished models to predict and control the original series, then we apply the method to study the population of China from 1978 to 2007, establishing the corresponding mathematical model, to obtain the forecast data of the population of China in 2008(1.3879503 billion), finally we make further stability analysis.

In this paper, the Matlab was used to explore the graphs with rank no more than 5; the performance of the proposed method was compared with former methods, which is simpler and clearer; and the results show that all graphs with rank no more than 5 are characterized.

Most studies mainly lay emphasis on the awareness of agricultural security issues, agri-food traceability and making researches from the perspective of supply chain; the orientation of researches includes some parts or links, etc. At present, in China, there are a lot of factors impacting on agri-food quality safety, researchers conduct studies on agri-food cold chain mainly from four aspects: legal system, production and distribution standards, regulatory system, and market access standards.
