Abstract:

Background: Chronic pancreatitis caused by common bile duct segment stenosis is a common complication. It often results in near side bile duct expansion, bile drain disorder, appearing serious obstructive jaundice, biliary cirrhosis, lifethreatening. However, chronic pancreatitis causes not bravery manager narrow some light, some heavy, and the clinical manifestation is different too. We think there may be different kinds of pathological anatomy. As a result, we carried out the research of this subject. Objective: To investigate the anatomicopathological classification of terminal stenosis of the common bile duct (CBD) caused by chronic pancreatitis (CP) and the treatment. Method: A retrospective analysis was made for the management of sympatomatic stenosis of the terminal end of CBD 47 CP cases. Autopsy was performed in 25 bodies to verify our classification. Result: By analyzing operation and postoperative follow-ups to 47 patients with obvious choledochal dilatations (diameter 15 mm) due to chronic pancreatitis, the authors have found that there exist three pathologico-anatomic categories of choledochal end-piece stenosis due to chronic pancreatitis. DEM Simulations of Granular Soils under Undrained Triaxial Compression and Plane Strain  [PDF]

Abstract:

The paper presents 3D DEM simulation results of undrained tests for loose assemblies with varied porosities under both triaxial compression and plane strain conditions, using a periodic cell. The undrained tests were modelled by deforming the samples under constant volume conditions, which corresponds to saturated soil samples. The undrained stress paths are shown to be qualitatively similar to physical experimental results. The triggering of liquefaction and temporary liquefaction is identified by a microscopic parameter with redundancy factor (RF) equal to unity, which defines the transition from “solid-like” to “liquid-like” behaviour. The undrained behaviour of granular soils is found to be mainly governed by the evolution of redundancy factor, and a reversal of deviatoric stress in stress path (temporary liquefaction) is found to be due to temporary loss of contacts forming a structural mechanism in the system where RF is smaller than unity during the evolution.

Abstract: This paper investigates the impact of human capital inequality on Total Factor Productivity (TFP) in China. Approaching this question in dynamic panel data over 18 years and 29 provinces with first-order difference GMM and system GMM estimators reveals: human capital inequality has a significant negative effect on TFP, and high-quality human capital has a significant positive effect on TFP.

Abstract: In order to analyze the deep-routed reason for the failure of the real estate market regulation policy, this paper established an incomplete information tri-game model in which central government, local government and the real estate developer were chosen as three main research objects. Based on the analysis of their interest appeals under the assumption of rational economic man, we found that it was the difference of interest appeals of central and local governments as well as the real estate developers that caused the game among the three participants. This, however, led to the failure of the macro-control at last. Strengthening the supervision of central government and reducing its cost at the same time, what’s more, improving the efficiency of the supervision and increasing the punishment of the rent-seeking behavior between local government and the real estate developers will contribute to improve the implementation status of the regulation and control policy. We suggest the authorities improve the government political achievement appraisal system and reform the current system of benefits distribution; moreover, reform the existing regulatory system and strength the regulatory role of media and the third-party so as to promote the healthy development of the real estate market.

Abstract: This study tries to study employees’ positive emotional state intervention, which induces positive emotional state of employees, especially considering the positive emotional states promoting effect on employees’ mental health. In this study, 50 employees of a medical institution were selected from the randomized experimental group and the control group. The results show that, using the method of positive emotion diary can significantly enhance the level of employees’ positive emotions and can effectively reduce the level of negative emotion, effectively reduce the level of employees’ emotional exhaustion. There is a significant positive correlation between the change of employees’ positive emotions and the change of employees’ psychological capital.
Application of Improved Analysis of Variance to Ionospheric TEC Short-Term Forecast  [PDF]

Abstract: An improved superposition analysis of periodical wave variance is used for short-term forecast of the ionosphere TEC in this study. Using the ionospheric TEC data provided by IGS as the real value, the forecasting precision of this me-thod at different locations in China with 40 days data is evaluated. The result shows that the improved method has a better forecasting precision which could reach 1.1 TECU. But the forecasting precision still relates to geographical position, it is proportional to longitude and inversely proportional to latitude. Compared with the current-used methods, the improved method has many advantages as higher precision, using fewer parameters and easier to calculate. So, it applied to ionosphere short-term prediction in China very well.

Abstract: Equal Salt Deposit Density (ESDD) is a main factor to classify contamination severity and draw pollution distribution map. The precise ESDD forecasting plays an important role in the safety, economy and reliability of power system. To cope with the problems existing in the ESDD predicting by multivariate linear regression (MLR), back propagation (BP) neural network and least squares support vector machines (LSSVM), a nonlinear combination forecasting model based on wavelet neural network (WNN) for ESDD is proposed. The model is a WNN with three layers, whose input layer has three neurons and output layer has one neuron, namely, regarding the ESDD forecasting results of MLR, BP and LSSVM as the inputs of the model and the observed value as the output. In the interest of better reflection of the influence of each single forecasting model on ESDD and increase of the accuracy of ESDD prediction, Morlet wavelet is used to con-struct WNN, error backpropagation algorithm is adopted to train the network and genetic algorithm is used to determine the initials of the parameters. Simulation results show that the accuracy of the proposed combina-tion ESDD forecasting model is higher than that of any single model and that of traditional linear combina-tion forecasting (LCF) model. The model provides a new feasible way to increase the accuracy of pollution distribution map of power network.
Si-N-C Nanowires Derived by Polyhydridomethylsilazane Pyrolysis  [PDF]

Abstract: The preceramic polymer, polyhydridomethylsilazane, was synthesized and pyrolyzed at 1873 K in nitrogen atmosphere to prepare Si-N-C nanowires without using any catalysts. The diameters of the nanowires were from tens of nanometers to several microns, and the maximum length of the nanowires reached several hundred microns. The nanowires had no bulbs or droplets on the tips. However, two different bulbs with diameters of several microns were observed, and one bulb was covered by nanowires all around, while the other bulb had nanowires just covered on its handle.

Abstract: Identification and analysis of tissue-specific (TS) genes and their regulatory activities play an important role in understanding the mechanisms of the organism, disease diagnosis and drug design. Although so far we are not clear about the mechanisms totally, the sequence features of TS genes are becoming an important clue. In this paper we used an integrated pipeline to discover sequences motifs for the promoter regions of TS genes. To test the significances of those motifs in a specific tissue, we used hypotheses test approaches including Bayesian hypothesis, Binomial distribution and traditional z-test. We finally got 2784, 1204 and 703 motifs respectively out of 3244 motifs obtained in discovery phase using above three tests from 3954 TS genes across 83 human tissues. 52.7% of those motifs can be found in public databases available.
