Paroxetine Increased the Serum Estrogen in Postmenopausal Women with Depressive and Anxiety Symptoms  [PDF]

Abstract: Objective: Both of selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) and estrogen can modulate emotion and cognition function in post-menopause women, moreover SSRIs can influence estrogen system in rats and aquatic wildlife but most of them for reproductive ability. The aim of this study was to investigate the possible relationship between SSRI, estrogen, and emotion and cognition in post-menopause women with anxiety and depressive symptoms .Methods: A double-blind, randomized controlled trials of Paroxetine, an SSRI (n = 44), versus placebo (n = 38) for 6 months in post-menopausal women with anxiety and depressive symptoms. For screening anxiety, depression and mild cognitive impairment (MCI), we use the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HAM-A), the Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (HAM-D) and the Chinese Version of the Montreal cognitive assessment (MoCA-CV). And sex hormones were measured by ELASE method which is serum estradiol (E2), follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH). Results: Paroxetine increased serum E2 and decreased LH, FSH significantly (P < 0.05). Meanwhile, HAM-A and HAM-D scores declined and MoCA-CV score raised by Paroxetine (P < 0.05). We also found that a negative association between E2 and scores of HAM-A and HAM-D at pre-treatment and post-treatment of Paroxetine (HAM-A: R = ?0.27, R = ?0.24; HAM-D: R = ?0.65, R = ?0.37), while a positive correlation between E2 and MoCA-CV scores (R = 0.52, R = 0.47). Conclusions: This founding suggests that SSRI can increase serum estrogen levels and the change of estrogen may be one of mechanism in SSRI’s improve emotion and cognitive function in post-menopausal women.
Flight trajectory recreation and playback system of aerial mission based on ossimplanet

Abstract: Recreation of flight trajectory is important among research areas. The design of a flight trajectory recreation and playback system is presented in this paper. Rather than transferring the flight data to diagram, graph and table, flight data is visualized on the 3D global of ossimPlanet. ossimPlanet is an open-source 3D global geo-spatial viewer and the system realization is based on analysis it. Users are allowed to choose their interested flight of aerial mission. The aerial photographs and corresponding configuration files in which flight data is included would be read in. And the flight statuses would be stored. The flight trajectory is then recreated. Users can view the photographs and flight trajectory marks on the correct positions of 3D global. The scene along flight trajectory is also simulated at the plane's eye point. This paper provides a more intuitive way for recreation of flight trajectory. The cost is decreased remarkably and security is ensured by secondary development on open-source platform.

Abstract: Because of more complex environment and the heavy study and training tasks, the cadets are more vulnerable to the attack of negative emotions that affect their psychological health. It is vitally significant to focus attention on the negative emotions and cadets active coping measures, which are proposed to improve the mental health. In this paper, the cadets’ negative emotions system research, analyses of the cadet negative energy source and the corresponding countermeasures are put forward.

Abstract: Taking the confidentiality principle of professional title as the entry point, based on the existing problems of college titles, such as simple feedback mechanism, being lack of pertinence, unfairness, etc., this paper proposes a new title review method based on the point system to change the traditional system review voting method. At the same time, the review index method is introduced, and the specific operation of the case is described in detail by Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Precedence Chart (PC). It is hoped that through the reform of the review method, the openness and fairness of professional title review process will be further improved, and the incentive effect of college titles should be brought into play to promote the long-term development of colleges and teachers.
Segmentation-based multi-scale urban green space landscape

Abstract: In this study, three scales urban green space landscapes were generated by multi-resolution segmentation. With 50 and 300 pixels as the object segmentation thresholds, the small- and large-scale landscape object image layers were produced, and the two object image layers were obtained by the nearest neighbor classification method. The result of small-scale landscape classification image was segmented into middle-scale landscape image, and then classified. Green space information was extracted through vector form of object image layers of three scales landscape classification. The landscape indexes diversity, dominance, evenness, fractal dimension, fragmentation, and interior to edge ration were calculated, with the largest values of the former four indexes being 2. 2, 0. 681, 0. 948, and 0. 326, and the smallest values being 1. 641, 0. 122, 0. 707, and 0. 113, respectively, indicating that the diversity, evenness and fragmentation decreased, while the dominance increased with increasing land- scape scale. The method of multi-resolution segmentation to generate multi-scale landscape could meet the needs of urban green space landscape research.

Abstract: This paper introduces a heterogeneous distributed database system called LSZ system, where LSZ is an abbreviation of Li Shizhen, an ancient Chinese medical scientist. LSZ system adopts cluster as distributed database node (or site). Each cluster consists of one or several microcomputers and one server. The paper describes its basic architecture and the prototype implementation, which includes query processing and optimization, transaction manager and data language translation. The system provides a uniform retrieve and update user interface through global relational data language GRDL. This research is supported by National Natural Science Foundation under Grant 6863051.

Abstract: We herein describe a method of depositing hemoglobin (Hb) and sulfonated polyaniline (SPAN) on GC electrodes that facilitate interfacial protein electron transfer. Well-defined, reproducible, chemically reversible peaks of Hb and SPAN can be obtained in our experiments. We also observed enhanced peroxidase activity of Hb in SPAN films. These results clearly showed that SPAN worked as molecular wires and effectively exchanged electrons between Hb and electrodes.Mediated by Conjugated Polymers

Abstract: 采用批量实验法,对2种不同晶体结构铝氧化物(γ-Al(OH)3和α-Al2O3)表面上磷酸根的吸附进行了比较研究.吸附等温线实验在pH=4和pH=6的KNO3溶液(0.0l mol·L-1)中进行,并使用Langmuir等温方程进行定量描述.由吸附等温线可以发现,α-Al2O3表现出更大的吸附容量和吸附密度.且在pH 3.5~4.0范围内,表面对磷酸根的吸附达到最大值.为了更好的理解表面性质对磷酸根吸附的影响,使用X射线衍射、N2吸附比表面积分析、电镜观察和表面酸碱滴定技术对表面结构和性质进行了表征.结合表面信息和吸附结果可以发现,单位质量吸附剂上的吸附量大小与比表面积有关,而吸附密度与铝氧化合物表面对磷酸根的吸附反应活性有关.

Abstract: The adsorption of metal cations, inorganic anions and natural organic molecules on the aluminum mineral surfaces play an important role in the transfer and fate of these absorbates in the natural aquatic environment. And in the technological processes, such as water treatment process, alumina has been widely used as the adsorbent and catalyst carriors for the absorbability of surface. Thus, the study on the chemistry of alumina reactions in water is of great importance. The chemistry of alumina-water interface is complex, the adsorption ability to inorganic and organic compounds were determined by the properties of alumina surfaces in aqueous solution, the solution conditions and the nature of adions. The surface charging properties and adsorptive reactivity were summarized, and the structure characteristics of alumina, surface reactivity and its application in water treatment technology were briefly reviewed.
Forecasting of urban wastewater discharge based on Gray-Markov Model

Abstract: The urban wastewater discharge can provide fundamental data for drainage engineering design, the Gray System Theory is widely used to forecast urban wastewater discharge. Based the urban wastewater discharge in Tianjin from 2001 to 2009, Gray Model was established to forecast the discharge of domestic sewage and industrial wastewater in Tianjin from 2010 to 2015. As the data of industrial wastewater was characterized as great fluctuation, Markov Model was introduced to amend the results of Gray Model. The results showed that the forecasting results of industrial wastewater by Gray Markov Model had high accuracy. The domestic sewage discharged would be 651.2057 million tons and the industrial wastewater discharged would be 193.3939 million tons in 2015. It indicated that the percentage of domestic sewage discharge in urban wastewater discharge having an increase trend as time goes on.
