Abstract:

Mathematical simulation method can be adopted to check flight characteristic of UAV, also can be adopted to simulate hardware experiments of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), then related flight experiments can be performed. The simulation method can reduce the flight periods, cost and risk. UAV flight model research play an important role in simulation and modeling in initialize periods of the UAV producing. The study of the paper focuses on the aerodynamic force modeling work of UAV based on Simulink. The designed model not only can afford mathematics simulation experiment but also will do benefits to the research of flight control, navigation guidance of UAV.

Abstract: Objective To investigate the feasibility of stress assessment based on specific quantification techniques and analysis of stress status with photoplethysmographic(PPG) signals.Methods The PPG signals were stratified and randomly sampled from 58 recruits before and after stress induced by International Affective Pictures Systems(IAPS) images of negative emotion.The signals were collected and processed in a tool called HC2180-D,an enhanced solution of a blood flow monitoring system,through which the characteristic parameters of pulsatile waveform were derived as components of bioinformation for quantitative and comparative study.A concise mental rating scale,the "brief profile of mood state"(BPOMS),was used as criterion.Results As the characteristic parameter and biomarker were derived,significant increases in values were observed in both the vasoconstriction/vasodilation fraction(CDF) and the ordinate of the area under the pulse contour of the vasoconstriction phase(Y2) when the recruits were shown IAPS images of negative emotion(P < 0.05),compared with the resulting values when IAPS images of neutral emotion(P > 0.05) were shown.The values of both the CDF and the Y2 were positively correlated in mid-range to tension,depression,and anger(P < 0.05),and in low-range to fatigue and confusion(P < 0.05).The values were negatively correlated in mid-range with vigor(P < 0.05).Conclusion The characteristic parameter and biomarker derived from the pulsatile waveform obtained at the fingertip are highly sensitive and can be utilized as measures in the quantitative assessment of stress response among recruits.
Combination of small interfering RNAs mediates greater suppression on hepatitis B virus cccDNA in HepG2.2.15 cells

Abstract: AIM: To observe the inhibition of hepatitis B virus (HBV) replication and expression in HepG2.2.15 cells by combination of small interfering RNAs (siRNAs).METHODS: Recombinant plasmid psil-HBV was constructed and transfected into HepG2.2.15 cells. At 48 h, 72 h and 96 h after transfection, culture media were collected and cells were harvested for HBV replication assay. HBsAg and HBeAg in the cell culture medium were detected by enzyme-linked immunoadsorbent assay (ELISA). Intracellular viral DNA and covalently closed circular DNA (cccDNA) were quantified by real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR). HBV viral mRNA was reverse transcribed and quantified by reverse-transcript PCR (RT-PCR).RESULTS: siRNAs showed marked anti-HBV effects. siRNAs could specifically inhibit the expression of HBsAg and the replication of HBV DNA in a dose-dependent manner. Furthermore, combination of siRNAs, compared with individual use of each siRNA, exerted a stronger inhibition on antigen expression and viral replication. More importantly, combination of siRNAs significantly suppressed HBV cccDNA amplification.CONCLUSION: Combination of siRNAs mediates a stronger inhibition on viral replication and antigen expression in HepG2.2.15 cells, especially on cccDNA amplification.
Microstructure and Optical Properties of CuSCN Thin Film Deposited bya¤ Successive Ionic Layer Adsorption and Reaction (SILAR) Method

Abstract: Cuprous thiocyanate (CuSCN) thin films were deposited on ITO, spin-coated TiO2 and glass substrates by successive ion layer adsorption and reaction (SILAR) method in ethylene glycol (EG) solution. Crystallinity, surface morphology and optical properties of the CuSCN thin films were characterized by XRD, scanning electron microscope and transmission spectra respectively. Results show that deposition of CuSCN is greatly affected by properties of substrates and solutions. CuSCN thin film deposited on ITO is dense and crystalline, while CuSCN thin film deposited on spin-coated TiO2 is particulate and amorphous. Roughness of CuSCN thin film increases with increasing cycles, resulting in decrease of transmittance of CuSCN thin film. At optimal conditions (ITO substrate, 20 cycles), the CuSCN thin film is dense and uniform in surface morphology, transmittance of which in the visible range is about 60%.
Novel Approach to Grow ZnO Bulk Crystals

Abstract: Base on the crystallization behavior of the ZnO-PbF2 system, a flux Bridgman growth technique with a gas cooling system was developed for the growth of ZnO crystal. By optimizing the growth parameters, transparent ZnO crystal with the size of φ25mm×5mm was obtained from the high temperature solutions. As-grown crystal has wurtzite structure with lattice parameters a=0.3252nm and b=0.5209nm, respectively. The preferred growth direction of the ZnO crystals is [0001] determined by X-ray orientation. The growth results show that the flux Bridgman method is a potential approach to grow large size ZnO crystals at low cost.
A Proline-Based Neuraminidase Inhibitor: DFT Studies on the Zwitterion Conformation, Stability and Formation

Abstract: The designs of potent neuraminidase (NA) inhibitors are an efficient way to deal with the recent “2009 H1N1” influenza epidemic. In this work, density functional calculations were employed to study the conformation, stability and formation of the zwitterions of 5-[(1R,2S)-1-(acetylamino)-2-methoxy-2-methylpentyl]-4-[(1Z)-1-propenyl]-(4S,5R)-D-proline (BL), a proline-based NA inhibitor. Compared to proline, the zwitterion stability of BL is enhanced by 1.76 kcal mol-1 due to the introduction of functional groups. However, the zwitterion of BL will not represent a local minimum on the potential energy surface until the number of water molecules increases up to two (n = 2). With the addition of two and three water molecules, the energy differences between the zwitterions and corresponding canonical isomers were calculated at 3.13 and -1.54 kcal mol-1, respectively. The zwitterions of BL are mainly stabilized by the H-bonds with the water molecules, especially in the case of three water molecules where the carboxyl-O atoms are largely coordination-saturated by three H-bonds of medium strengths, causing the zwitterion stability even superior to the canonical isomer. With the presence of two and three water molecules, the energy barriers for the conversion processes from the canonical isomers to the zwitterions are equal to 4.96 and 3.13 kcal mol-1, respectively. It indicated that the zwitterion formation is facile to take place with addition of two molecules and further facilitated by more water molecules. Besides, the zwitterion formation of BL is finished in a single step, different from other NA inhibitors. Owing to the above advantages, BL is a good NA inhibitor candidate and more attention should be paid to explorations of BL-based drugs.

Abstract: Based on the first Born approximation, we develope a simple theoretical method to calculate the cross sections of various high energy atomic collision processes. For the 4 kinds of incident particles (H+, e-, H, H-) our theoretical cross sections for the target-atom excitation process Na(3s-3p) are consistent with the recent absolute experimental measurement.

Abstract: Here we present a unified theory of above threshold ionization (ATI) phenomena. Based on this theory, we can describe ATI processes in realistic atomic screen potentials and can also elucidate experimental observations of ATI phenomena. The ATI phenomena mainly involve two successive procosses: (1) Quantum transition processe from an initial field-free state to final strong laser field dressed states. (2) in order to descibe experimental observations, one must consider post-interactions between the escaping photoelectron and the strong laser fields, which are classic processes owing to ponderomotive forces generated by non-uniform laser fields.
