Intertemporal Pricing and Allotment of Sea-cargo Capacity under Reference Effect  [PDF]

Abstract: Reference effect influences the shippers’ purchase behavior to some extent, and it makes shippers’ behavior more mys-terious. Furthermore, it leads to complex to coordinate procurement and pricing of forwarder and carrier. Firstly, we introduce the reference effect into the sea-cargo service supply chain composed with carriers and forwarders, and build the game-theoretical model to decide the optimal contract price and order quantity. Considering the situation where the market demand is affected by current price and reference price, we adopt dynamic programming and classical varia-tion method to analyze the dynamic equilibrium of the game under reference effect with symmetric information or not, respectively. Finally, this paper analyzes the reference effect to price, procurement and profit of carrier with digital analysis.

Abstract: Because of rich solar resource and low land cost, a lot of large-scale ground-based grid-connected PV systems have been built in Northwest China. In this paper, some shading phenomena on a grid-connected PV system inNorthwest Chinaare classified and analyzed. Through the I-V curve test of PV modules, it can be seen that dust influence system performance of the grid-connected PV system. And the experimental results have shown that shading could affect the electrical properties of PV modules. Meanwhile, same shading area on different shading positions could have different impacts on the identical PV module.

Abstract:

By utilizing homomorphisms and -strong semilattice of semigroups, we show that the Green (*,~)-relation H*,~ is a regular band congruence on a r-ample semigroup if and only if it is a G-strong semilattice of completely J*,~-simple semigroups. The result generalizes Petrichs result on completely regular semigroups with Greens relation H a normal band congruence or a regular band congruence from the round of regular semigroups to the round of r-ample semigroups.

Abstract: DNA methylation is known to play a crucial role in regulating plant development and organ or tissue differentiation. In this study, we assessed the extent and pattern of cytosine methylation during rapeseed (Brassica napus L.) seed germination, and compared the methylation level of various tissues in seedling, using the techniques of methylation-sensitive amplified polymorphism (MSAP) and HPLC separation and quantification of nucleosides. In all, 484 bands, each representing a recognition site cleaved by either or both of the isoschizomers, were amplified by 12 pairs of selective primers in DNA obtained from dry seeds. A total of 76 sites were found to be differentially digested by the isoschizomers, indicating that approximately 15.7% of 5′-CCGG-3′ sites in the genome were cytosine methylated. Four classes of patterns were observed in a comparative assay of cytosine methylation in the dry and germinating seeds; a small number of hypermethylation events occurred at 5′-CCGG-3′ sites in germinating seeds compared with dry seeds, while many more hypomethylation events were detected after seed germination. Differences in DNA methylation level in various tissues were also detected; radicel was less methylated than hypocotyl and cotyledon. These observations were further confirmed by HPLC analysis. In addition, sequencing of eleven differentially methylated fragments and the subsequent blast search revealed that cytosine methylated 5′-CCGG-3′ sequences were equally distributed between coding and non-coding regions. These results clearly demonstrate the power of MSAP technique for large-scale DNA methylation detection in rapeseed genome, and the complexity of DNA methylation change during seed germination. DNA Hypomethylation going with seed germination appears to be a necessary step toward transcriptional activation in gene expression, and may well contribute to the developmental gene regulation.

Abstract: The corrosion resistance of SiO2/A12O3, TiO2/Al2O3 and (SiO2+TiO2)/Al2O3 ceramic composite coatings on Q235 substrate fabricated by means of plasma spraying was investigated. The results show that A12O3+13 wt pct TiO2 ceramic coating has the highest density, the lowest connected porosity and the best corrosion resistance. The corrosion mechanism of Q235 with ceramic coating has also been studied.

Abstract:

In order to study the hypotonic and rheological particularity of “three soft” coal seam in west Henan, China, this paper explored the stress and damage characteristics of crack in coal under condition of water injection fracturing based on ABAQUS platform; The cohesive element in T-P damage evolution criterion was used to describe the approximately linear relationship between crack width and extending distance in soft coal. The simulation results show that stress evolution and crack damage in soft coal is a gradually developing process under condition of water injection fracturing. When the static pressure is 4 - 10 MPa, and the injection time is about 1 - 2 hours, the damage range of crack in soft coal can basically reach an ideal data of 80 - 100 m, and then greatly improve the hypotonic performance of “three soft” coal seam.

Abstract: A two-step anodization process was used to prepare highly ordered porous anodic alumina template (PAA). The template method was combined with the sol-electrophoresis deposition and sol-gel method to synthesize three types of nanometer-array systems. The titania nano-arrays have a high specific surface area. The sol-gel template method was also applied to prepare the rod-shaped titania nanowire-arrays. The diameter of titania nanometer-array is about 50 nm; the length is about 20 μm; and the distance of neighboring two nanowires is about 100 nm. Through controlling the pore depth of the template, the membrane with periodical modulating titania nanodots was prepared. The diameter of the nanodots on the membrane surface was about 75 nm and the dot distance was about 100 nm. Also a compact structure has been found on the back face of the membrane. The sol-electrophoresis template method was used to prepare the nanowire-array system with the shape of string of candied haws. The diameter of nanowires was about 75 nm and the length was about 20 μm. The periodic concave-convex structures were found in each nanowire and the shape looked like string of candied haws. The three types of nano-array systems have a high specific surface area. It can be predicted that this type of surface modulating array system will have new properties and effects that are different from those of common membranes, nanodots and nanowires.
