Research on Model and Mechanism of Autonomous Management for Cellular Manufacturing  [PDF]

Abstract: International Engineering Consortium predicted that cellular manufacturing would become the main production model of manufacturing enterprises in the future. Based on elaborating the basic concepts, this paper proposes organizational forms, autonomous management models and coordination mechanism of cellular manufacturing, and takes expected return of two production cells as a coordination example, then gives coordination process and coordination strategy of cellular manufacturing, so as to expand production management theory and provide reference to cellular manufacturing enterprises.
Computer Assisted Pathway Generation for Atrazine Degradation in Advanced Oxidation Processes  [PDF]

Abstract: A model was developed to generate the complex degradation pathway of contaminants initiated by hydroxyl radical in the advanced oxidation processes. The model abstracts chemical structures into mathematic graphs. The manipulation of the graphs enumerates the reactions among the large number of molecules, radicals, and other intermediates in the advanced oxidation processes. Using Canonical Simplified Molecular Input Line Entry Specification (Canonical SMILE) representation, the algorithm was able to simulate the reaction of contaminants containing both chain and ring structures. The input chemicals, reaction pattern, and the reaction rules could be specified by users through a graphical user interface. The degradation pathway of Atrazine was used as an example to demonstrate the capability of the algorithm. The generated reaction pathways were compared with those reported in literatures.

Simulation Research of Brushless Direct Current Motor Speed System Based on Neuro-PID Position Controller

Abstract: A new speed control strategy is presented for high performance con-trol of a Brushless Direct Current Motor (BLDCM). A self-tuning Neuro-PID controller is developed for speed control. The PID gains are tuned automatically by the neural network in an on-line way. In recent years, the re-searches on the control of electrical machines based on Neuro-PID Position Controller are increased.It offers inherent advantages over con-ventional PID controller for BLDCM, Such as reduction of the effects of motor parameter variations, improvement of controller time response and improve-ment of drive robustness. The BLDCM drive system was simulated by using MATLAB 7.0/Simulink software package. The performance of the proposed method is compared with the conventional PID methods. At the result, the con-trol based on self-tuning Neuro-PID control has better performance than the conventional PID controller.

Comparative study of the effects of Gypsum Fibrosum and Gypsum Fibrosum Preparatum in promoting granulation

Abstract: Objective: To investigate the effects of Gypsum Fibrosum and Gypsum Fibrosum Preparatum in promoting granulation. Methods: The wounds of muscle layer were produced in rats by using surgical operation. Two round wounds, with diameter about 1.5 cm, were cut at the depilatory area of two sides of the back of each rat, with an interval of 2 cm, deep to muscle layer, and the thickness of the knife wound of muscle layer was about 0.15 cm. Forty SD rats with the wounds were randomly divided into 4 groups: untreated group, beifuji-treated group, Gypsum Fibrosum-treated group and Gypsum Fibrosum Preparatum-treated group, with 10 rats in each group. Then the wounds were sprinkled with powders of Gypsum Fibrosum and Gypsum Fibrosum Preparatum, or sprayed with beifuji solution, respectively. The healing state of granulation tissues of the wounds was observed at the eighth and fourteenth day respectively. Results: The number of fibroblasts, the number of capillary tubes and the area of capillary tubes in granulation tissue of wounds in the Gypsum Fibrosum Preparatum-treated group were significantly higher than those in the untreated group and Gypsum Fibrosum-treated group (P<0.01). There were no statistical differences between the Gypsum Fibrosum Preparatum-treated group and the beifuji-treated group. However, Gypsum Fibrosum-treated group showed no obvious differences compared to the untreated group (P>0.05). Conclusions: Gypsum Fibrosum Preparatum can accelerate the formation of collagenoblast and micrangium in wounds, and the proliferation of granulation tissues, thus promoting the skin wounds to healing. The effect of Gypsum Fibrosum is changed after being calcined, and Gypsum Fibrosum Preparatum has obvious effect in promoting granulation.
On Performance Audit Methods in Commercial Banks

Abstract: Lying at the elementary stage of relevant research, China is still lacking in modern performance audit methods fit for commercial banks. This paper aims at applying data enveloping analysis in the linear programming theory as well as benchmarking management to commercial banks to effectively improve the efficiency and quality of their performance audit. In addition, the application of this method is illustrated in this paper to prove its reasonability and correctness.
A note on the black hole remnant

Abstract: Analyzing the tunneling probability of a Schwarzschild black hole with a negative log-area correction to Bekenstein-Hawking entropy, I argue that this correction may be closely related to a black hole remnant. The value for the minimal black hole mass is also discussed.

Abstract: In the past few years, the discoveries of small-world and scale-free properties of many natural and artificial complex networks have stimulated significant advances in better understanding the relationship between the topology and the collective dynamics of complex networks. This paper reports recent progresses in the literature of synchronization of complex dynamical networks including stability criteria, network synchronizability and uniform synchronous criticality in different topologies, and the connection between control and synchronization of complex networks as well. The economic-cycle synchronous phenomenon in the World Trade Web, a scale-free type of social economic networks, is used to illustrate an application of the network synchronization mechanism.
Black hole entropy without brick walls

Abstract: The properties of the thermal radiation are discussed by using the new equation of state density motivated by the generalized uncertainty relation in the quantum gravity. There is no burst at the last stage of the emission of a Schwarzshild black hole. When the new equation of state density is utilized to investigate the entropy of a scalar field outside the horizon of a static black hole, the divergence appearing in the brick wall model is removed, without any cutoff. The entropy proportional to the horizon area is derived from the contribution of the vicinity of the horizon.
