Experimental Investigation of Unsteady Pressure on an Axial Compressor Rotor Blade Surface  [PDF]

Abstract: The inherent unsteady pressure fluctuations on the rotating blade suction surface of an axial compressor were experimentally measured by directly mounting five high response miniature pressure transducers into the rotor blade along a streamline at 50% span respectively. The results show that the unsteady pressure fluctuations of rotor blade surface could be measured successfully by this means. The relations about the period, altitude of unsteady pressure with rotating speed, the discipline of pressure fluctuation along the streamwise direction were obtained.
A Generalized Tanh-Function Type Method and the(G'/G) -Expansion Method for Solving  [PDF]

Abstract: In this paper a generalized tanh-function type method is proposed by using the idea of the transformed rational function method. We show that the (G'/G) -expansion method is a special case of the generalized tanh-function type method, so the (G'/G) -expansion method is considered as a special deformation application of the transformed rational function method. We demonstrate that all solutions obtained by the (G'/G) -expansion method were found by the generalized tanh-function type method. As applications, we consider mKdV equation. Compared with the (G'/G) -expansion method, the generalized tanh-function type method gives new and more abundant solutions.

Abstract: This article aims to analyze the reasons for the Jackson’s bank war over theSecond Bank of United States. It shows us a new perspective on the reason, which focuses on the different growth backgrounds of Jackson and Biddle. The President Jackson vetoed the bill for the postponement of the Second Bank of United States. And the different personality of Jackson and the Biddle, the president of the Second Bank of United States are important reasons for that. What’s more, the collapse of the Second Bank of United States prevented the financial power from being too concentrated, which did harm to the state power. The Jackson’s victory establishes the fundamental of Federal Reserve system, and gives the wall street spaces to flourish.

Abstract: The paper researched and analyzed the characteristics, deficiencies and reasons of a management system of a software enterprise project to design a software project management system based on CMMI 1.2, thus helping the enterprise to improve development and management efficiency of software project and reduce the risks and costs on project devel- opment. It studied CMMI model version 1.3 which is recently released by SEI, analyzed its characteristics and told the difference between version 1.2 and version 1.3. In addition, an improvement proposal and a solution of the software project management system were given from multiple perspectives.

Abstract: Digital image watermarking is a useful solution to the problem of information security, copyright and network security. In this paper, we propose a watermarking algorithm for color image based HT and DWT. A binary image as watermark is embedded into green component or blue component of color image. The algorithm can satisfy the transparence and robustness of the watermarking system very well. The experiment based on this algorithm demonstrates that the watermarking is robust to the common signal processing techniques including JPEG compressing, adding noise, low pass filter, and mosaic.
Composite Quantile Regression for Nonparametric Model with Random Censored Data  [PDF]

The composite quantile regression should provide estimation efficiency gain over a single quantile regression. In this paper, we extend composite quantile regression to nonparametric model with random censored data. The asymptotic normality of the proposed estimator is established. The proposed methods are applied to the lung cancer data. Extensive simulations are reported, showing that the proposed method works well in practical settings.

Abstract: Purpose: Analyzing the causes of pain after tension-free repair in the inguinal hernia, and propose corresponding treatment strategies. Results: The patients in this group were followed up for 3 - 12 months. A total of 5 patients still had pain relief within 3 months after surgery. Further treatment was needed, and the incidence rate was 5%. Conclusion: Skilled surgical procedures are performed in patients with local anesthesia, and some of the absorbable repair materials can be used. The improved patch fixation and extra peritoneal repair can reduce the pain after inguinal hernia repair without tension.
FaSa: A Fast and Stable Quadratic Placement Algorithm

Abstract: Placement is a critical step in VLSI design because it dominates overall speed and quality of design flow. In this paper, a new fast and stable placement algorithm called FaSa is proposed. It uses quadratic programming model and Lagrange multiplier method to solve placement problems. And an incremental LU factorization method is used to solve equations for speeding up. The experimental results show that FaSa is very stable, much faster than previous algorithms and its total wire length is comparable with other algorithms.
Prevalence of Herpes and Respiratory Viruses in Induced Sputum among Hospitalized Children with Non Typical Bacterial Community-Acquired Pneumonia

Abstract: Objective Few comprehensive studies have searched for viruses in infants and young children with community-acquired pneumonia (CAP) in China. The aim of this study was to investigate the roles of human herpes viruses (HHVs) and other respiratory viruses in CAP not caused by typical bacterial infection and to determine their prevalence and clinical significance. Methods Induced sputum (IS) samples were collected from 354 hospitalised patients (infants, n = 205; children, n = 149) with respiratory illness (CAP or non-CAP) admitted to Wenling Hospital of China. We tested for HHVs and respiratory viruses using PCR-based assays. The epidemiological profiles were also analysed. Results High rate of virus detection (more than 98%) and co-infection (more than 80%) were found among IS samples from 354 hospitalised infants and children with respiratory illness in this study. Of 273 CAP samples tested, CMV (91.6%), HHV-6 (50.9%), RSV (37.4%), EBV (35.5%), HBoV (28.2%), HHV-7 (18.3%) and rhinovirus (17.2%) were the most commonly detected viruses. Of 81 non- CAP samples tested, CMV (63%), RSV (49.4%), HHV-6 (42%), EBV (24.7%), HHV-7 (13.6%) and HBoV (8.6%) were the dominant viruses detected. The prevalence of several viral agents (rhinovirus, bocavirus, adenovirus and CMV) among IS samples of CAP were significantly higher than that of non-CAP control group. We also found the prevalence of RSV coinfection with HHVs was also higher among CAP group than that of non-CAP control. Conclusions With sensitive molecular detection techniques and IS samples, high rates of viral identification were achieved in infants and young children with respiratory illness in a rural area of China. The clinical significance of rhinovirus, bocavirus, adenovirus and HHV (especially CMV) infections should receive greater attention in future treatment and prevention studies of CAP in infants and children.

Abstract: 本文根据量子力学的线性叠加原理,构造了由多模(即q模)相干态的相反态|{-Zj}〉q及多模虚相干态|{Zj}〉q这两者的线性叠加所组成的一种新型的多模Schrdinger猫态光场|Ψ(2)〉q,利用新近建立的多模压缩态理论,研究了态|Ψ(2)〉q的N次方Y压缩效应。结果发现:①当压缩阶数N=2p且p=2m(m=1,2,3,…,…)时,态|Ψ(2)〉q总是恒处于N-Y最小测不准态;②当压缩阶数N=2p且p=2m+1(m=0,1,2,3,…,…)时,如果各模的初始相位φj,态间的初始相位差θpq(I)-θnq(R)以及各单模相干态光场的平均光子数之总和 等满足一定的量子化条件,则态|Ψ(2)〉q可呈现出周期性变化的、任意阶的N次方Y压缩效应;③当压缩阶数N=2p′+1时,无论p′=2m(m=0,1,2,…,…)还是p′=2m+1(m=0,1,2,3,…,…),只要各模的初始相位φj满足一定的量子条件,则当两态叠加几率幅满足rpq(I)=rnq(R)时,态|Ψ(2)〉q就恒处于N-Y测不准态,始终不呈现N-Y最小测不准态和N次方Y压缩;而当rpq(I)≠rnq(R)时,态|Ψ(2)〉q始终不呈现N-Y测不准态、N-Y最小测不准态和N次方Y压缩效应。
