International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health , 2013, DOI: 10.3390/ijerph10126820
Abstract: This exploratory and cross-sectional study aimed to identify the prevalence of bullying in a group of students and analyze the data regarding the gender of those involved in the violence. A questionnaire adapted from Olweus was applied in seven elementary education schools in Portugal. The sample consisted of 387 students between 7 and 14 years old. Data are presented in terms of descriptive statistics and differences between proportions were analyzed using chi-square tests. The gender analysis of victimization and aggression shows that boys and girls are both victims and aggressors, and there are significant differences in involvement in bullying between genders and the roles played. Boys are victims more often when considering different types of bullying, although significant differences were only found for physical aggression. Strategies that include gender roles are a priority for prevention and careful attention to this phenomenon in the school context. The questions addressed contribute to a broader understanding of the phenomenon, emphasizing the differential participation of boys and girls in bullying.

Abstract: the paper-press functions as a machine that furiously emits signs, that imposes seeing and talking within a dominant syntax, forcing one to think of the game of representations and to rediscover what was always already there. it violently expose a time of death marked by the centrality of the subject in thought. in this article i propose to explore the concepts of sign, event and fabulation by gilles deleuze to seek the shifts in the thinking of the paper-press. when unfolding such signs - speed, present time, objectivity and truthfulness - a distinct violence emerges through the event's surfaces, affirmative, an emptying out of the already given significations of these signs that allows for an anything-becoming of the paper; possibilities that the paper-research can find life forces by means of fabulation.

Abstract: examining clinical practice and interpretation, especially in the light of the theory of maturation, winnicott posits that: 1. the use of interpretation, in its traditional meaning, that is to say, as related to repressed contents, should be limited to individuals who already have a self and a personal psychic reality and 2. the role, use and meaning of interpretation should be redescribed as part of the therapeutic procedure, with awareness of its inherent risks.

OPSIS : Revista do Departamento de História e Ciências Sociais , 2010,
Abstract: This text discusses diversity and identity. These two conceptual categories contribute to better understand the social and cultural phenomena of post modernity. The black woman is the guy who gives his ethos to think about ethnic and racial and gender discrimination. These relationships are thought of as components of identification processes and diversity. In Brazil, the black woman has been investigated mainly by the Social Sciences, as a social being doubly stigmatized by having signs of inferiority related to gender and race. Some of the questions led to the production of the text presented here, these questions are: What is the specificity of black women in Brazil? What are your chances of transit between identity categories? What are the social, cultural and political mechanisms that are indicators of processes of new signification of belongings?
