Database backup method based on linear-chain Delta compression

Abstract: This paper proposed a version transformation algorithm of Delta files in order to reduce the time cost of restoring data in linear Delta chain. On the basis of the algorithm,presented a database backup and restore method based on linear-chain Delta compression. Comparing to the commonly used backup method based on version jumping Delta chain, this method had the advantages of less storage cost and less network transmission cost. The experimental results indicate that the method can reduce the storage cost at the ratio of about 80% with respect to version jumping Delta chain, and the time cost of the method is only about 40% of the traditional restore method.

Abstract: 摘要: 为研究随机市场需求的绿色供应链问题,分别在零售商只考虑公平关切、只考虑风险规避及同时考虑公平关切和风险规避情形下, 建立绿色供应链博弈模型,研究了零售商的公平关切行为以及风险规避行为对绿色供应链最优决策的影响。研究结果表明: 与公平中性和风险中性时最优决策相比,零售商的公平关切行为、风险规避行为都会影响绿色供应链最优决策,且随着零售商公平关切和风险规避程度的增大,绿色产品最优批发价格、绿色度水平、零售价格、 绿色供应链各决策者期望利润及整体期望利润的变化都有规律性,在不同的产品绿色化效率下,存在着不同的变化趋势。
Abstract: To study the problem of a green supply chain with uncertain demand, the game models of the green supply chain considering only retailers fairness concern, only retailers risk aversion and both fairness concern and risk aversion were constructed. The impact of retailers fairness concern and risk aversion on the optimal decisions of manufacturer and retailer as well as the overall optimal decisions of the green supply chain are studied. The results show that retailers fair concerns and risk aversion influent the optimal decisions of the green supply chain comparing with those of fair neutral and risk neutral retail. The optimal decisions, expected profits and overall profit of the green supply chain change accordingly to the degree of retailers fairness concern and risk aversion, and the trends under the various green efficiency are different
PinX1 regulation of telomerase activity and apoptosis in nasopharyngeal carcinoma cells

Abstract: Expression vectors of human PinX1 (pEGFP-C3-PinX1) and its small interfering RNA (PinX1-FAM-siRNA) were constructed and transfected into NPC. Their effects on mRNA of telomerase catalytic subunit (hTERT), telomerase activity, cell proliferation, cell migration, wound healing, cell cycles and apoptosis were examined using semi-quantitative RT-PCR, stretch PCR, MTT assay, Transwell, scratch assay and flow cytometry, respectively.Transfection of pEGFP-C3-PinX1 and PinX1-FAM-siRNA increased and reduced PinX1 mRNA by 1.6-fold and 70%, respectively. Over-expression of PinX1 decreased hTERT mRNA by 21%, reduced telomerase activity, inhibited cell growth, migration and wound healing ability, arrested cells in G0/G1 phase, and increased apoptotic index. In contrast, down-regulation of PinX1 did not alter the above characteristics.PinX1 may play important roles in NPC proliferation, migration and apoptosis and has application potential in tumor-targeted gene therapy.Nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) is one of the most incident and dangerous malignant tumors in southern provinces of China. Genetic factors and environmental factors including Epstein-Barr virus are the two major risk factors for NPC. Radiotherapy along with other auxiliary methods such as chemotherapy is used to treat NPC. Although equipments and technologies in radiotherapy and chemotherapy have been greatly advanced in recent years, the 5-year survival rate of patients with NPC remains about 70%. In addition, systemic and local side effects caused by chemotherapy greatly humbled the patient physically and psychologically. Therefore, it is of importance to study the etiology of NPC and explore new, safe and effective modalities for NPC therapy.Telomerase is well known for its role in the development of malignant tumors. Abstract: Nitrogen doping of fluorinated diamond-like carbon (FN-DLC) films were deposited on p-type (100) silicon wafers at different deposition condition. The contact angle of water on the FN-DLC films surfaces was measured by a sessile-drop method. The surface morphology of films was characterized by atomic force microscopy (AFM). The Raman spectrum, infrared spectrum and X-ray photoelectron spectrum (XPS) demonstrate that the hydrophobic nature of FN-DLC films lies on chemistry structure, polarization intensity and roughness of films surface. As the ratio of sp~3/sp~2 decreases, the quantity of CF_2 and roughness of film surface increases, thus contact angle increases. Otherwise, contact angle decreases. The contact angle is correlated with the deposition condition, which low temperature, low radio frequency power and high flux ratio r(r=CF_4/CF_4 CH_4]) brings the contact angle to ascend.

Abstract: 不同条件下,在单晶硅基片上沉积了含氮氟化类金刚石(FN-DLC)薄膜.原子力显微(AFM)形貌显示,掺N后,薄膜变得致密均匀.傅里叶变换吸收红外光谱(FTIR)表明,随着r(r=N2/[N2+CF4+CH4])的增大薄膜中C—H键的逐渐减少,C〖FY=,1〗N和C≡N键含量逐渐增加.X射线光电子能谱(XPS)的C1s和N1s峰拟合结果发现,N掺入导致在薄膜中出现β-C3N4和a-CNx(x=1,2,3)成分.Roman散射谱的G峰向高频方向位移和峰值展宽等证明:随着r的增大,薄膜内sp2键态含量增加.
SIRT1 Regulates Endothelial Notch Signaling in Lung Cancer

Abstract: Background Sirtuin 1 (SIRT1) acts as a key regulator of vascular endothelial homeostasis, angiogenesis, and endothelial dysfunction. However, the underlying mechanism for SIRT1-mediated lung carcinoma angiogenesis remains unknown. Herein, we report that the nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide 1 (NAD1)-dependent deacetylase SIRT1 can function as an intrinsic negative modulator of Delta-like ligand 4 (DLL4)/Notch signaling in Lewis lung carcinoma (LLC) xenograft-derived vascular endothelial cells (lung cancer-derived ECs). Principal Findings SIRT1 negatively regulates Notch1 intracellular domain (N1IC) and Notch1 target genes HEY1 and HEY2 in response to Delta-like ligand 4 (DLL4) stimulation. Furthermore, SIRT1 deacetylated and repressed N1IC expression. Quantitative chromatin immunoprecipitation (qChIP) analysis and gene reporter assay demonstrated that SIRT1 bound to one highly conserved region, which was located at approximately ?500 bp upstream of the transcriptional start site of Notch1,and repressed Notch1 transcription. Inhibition of endothelial cell growth and sprouting angiogenesis by DLL4/Notch signaling was enhanced in SIRT1-silenced lung cancer-derived EC and rescued by Notch inhibitor DAPT. In vivo, an increase in proangiogenic activity was observed in Matrigel plugs from endothelial-specific SIRT1 knock-in mice. SIRT1 also enhanced tumor neovascularization and tumor growth of LLC xenografts. Conclusions Our results show that SIRT1 facilitates endothelial cell branching and proliferation to increase vessel density and promote lung tumor growth through down-regulation of DLL4/Notch signaling and deacetylation of N1IC. Thus, targeting SIRT1 activity or/and gene expression may represent a novel mechanism in the treatment of lung cancer.
Effects of grazing on spatial heterogeneity of soil moisture and salt content in saline grassland in low terrace of the Yellow River

Abstract: In order to reveal the spatial difference of water and salt in saline grassland under grazing and exclosure,we have chosen three transects(770m,grazing;370m,grazing;240m,exclosure) in two grasslands,which have similar topography in the low terrace of the Yellow River in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.Soil moisture and conductivity were sampled at 10 meter intervals along each transect by a portable WET Sensor for two soil layers(0-10cm,10-20cm).And in each soil layer,we got 78,38 and 25 soil moisture and salt content data all severally from three transects.The coefficient of variation(C_v) and the significance of correlation coefficient of the water and salt in surface soil layer were greater than those of the deeper soil layer;the C_v of the water moisture is lower than that of the salt content,but the correlation coefficient is higher in the surface layer.The correlation of the soil moisture and salt content is higher under grazing,and the variance is lower.Spatial autocorrelation of soil water and salt is medium or strong.In the exclosure where the stochastic factor is stronger,the difference of the spatial correlation scale of the soil water and salt is lower.Under grazing,the difference is greater.Continuous grazing is a factor that impacts on the spatial distribution and weakens the spatial heterogeneity of soil moisture and salt content in saline grassland.In the exclosure the distribution of halophytes has a strong effect.While in grazed grassland the distribution of halophytes and soil structure are changed by browsing and trampling of livestock.This has a big impact as both the content of soil water and salt concentration in grazed grassland trends to increase.

Abstract: The distribution of the substance P like immunoreactive (SP LI) neurons in the basal forebrain cholinergic corticopetal neuron areas in the cat was studied and compared with that of the choline acetyltransferase like immunoreactive (ChAT LI) neurons in the paired consecutive sections of the corresponding areas.A continuum of ChAT LI neurons were distributed in the medial septal nucleus (MS),nuclei of diagonal band,vertical and horizontal divisions (NDBV/H),nucleus basalis of Meynert (NBM),subcommissural ventral pallidum (sVP),and the areas of interstitial elements of Ch4,e.g.the internal capsule (ic) and nucleus of anterior commissure (Nac).The distribution of the SP LI neurons closely resembled that of the ChAT LI neurons with similar shape and size in the corresponding areas of the MS NDB NBM continuum.However,no perikarya in the paired surfaces of two adjacent sections could be really identified as bisected neurons being SP and ChAT LI respectively.The number of the SP LI neurons,compared with that of the ChAT LI neurons was more in MS,almost the same in NDBV/H,much less in NBM,and only a few in the interstitial elements of Ch4 areas and sVP.The results demonstrated that the majority of the SP LI neurons in the MS NDB NBM were mainly contained in the MS NDB and most of the SP LI neurons in the cholinergic neuron areas belonged to a subdivision with different chemical property.We suggested that the SPergic neurons in the MS NDB might be one of the main components,in addition to the cholinergic and GABAergic neurons,in the septohippocampal projection system and might play an important role in modulation of the memory functioning neocortex hippocampus neocortex circuit.

Abstract: In 2000,Hsu et al.presented a new nonrepudiable proxy signature scheme with known signers based Sun' scheme and discrete logarithm cryptography.The scheme meets several fundamental requirements and can effectively withstand the conspiracy attack and the forgery attack.However,discrete logarithm cryptography has some drawbacks like longer keys and difficult key management,which seriously limit application of the scheme proposed by Hsu et al.In allusion to this,this paper proposes a threshold proxy scheme based on elliptic curve cryptography with an advantage of short keys.

Abstract: Based on security analysis on Hsu' scheme,an improved threshold proxy signature scheme was proposed,which effectively overcomed the disadvantage of Hsu' scheme which couldn't stand the internal conspiracy attack and the forge attack.The improved scheme involved the secret information of both the actual signature group and the proxy signature group into the proxy signature in the proxy signature generation stage,and differed in the signature,so the signature based on it is identifiable and nonrepudiable.Cryptoanalysis on the new improved scheme shows that it is a safe and practicable one.
