Uso de trigo organico na alimenta??o de juvenis de tilápia do Nilo

Abstract: although the organic fish production is a growing practice in the world, in brazil, there are just a few studies about it. this study aimed at evaluating the use of organic wheat, in replacement of organic maize, in the diet of nile tilapia juveniles. a total of 200 juveniles (5.24 ± 0.13 g; 6.91 ± 0.40 cm) were distributed in 20 experimental hapas (0.15 m3 of useful volume), in a concrete water tank with capacity for 25.0 m3 and constant aeration system, in a completely randomized design. five diets containing organic wheat middlings (0.0 g kg-1, 50.0 g kg-1, 100.0 g kg-1, 150.0 g kg-1 and 200,0 g kg-1) were elaborated and feeding took place four times a day (08:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 02:00 p.m. and 05:00 p.m.). final weight, total length, survival rate, daily weight gain, fulton's condition factor, visceral fat, hepatosomatic index, viscerosomatic index and the centesimal composition of fish carcass (moisture, protein, lipid and ash contents) were evaluated. the inclusion levels of organic wheat middlings did not affect the variables analyzed. the organic wheat can be added to the diet of nile tilapia juveniles up to the limit of 200.0 g kg-1, without causing any productive problem.

Abstract: A presente pesquisa trata-se de estudo de revis o integrativa com objetivo de avaliar as evidências disponíveis sobre fatores associados à manuten o do aleitamento materno de recém-nascidos pré-termo. Desenvolvido nas bases de dados MEDLINE e LILACS, com os descritores “aleitamento materno” e “prematuro”. A amostra incluiu vinte estudos com nível de evidência 2 e 4, que apontaram fatores facilitadores e dificultadores associados à manuten o do aleitamento materno. S o necessárias a es multiprofissionais no acompanhamento de saúde com estratégias educativas, de promo o do vínculo m e-bebê e acolhimento da família. Deve-se ter especial aten o às condi es sociais, econ micas e culturais da família, bem como às demandas clínicas dos recém-nascidos pré-termo para a manuten o do aleitamento.
W/Z + Light Flavor Jets and W/Z + Heavy Flavor Jets at the Tevatron

Abstract: Collider signatures containing bosons and jets are particularly interesting. Recent theoretical effort has been devoted to determining predictions of W/Z + multiple parton production; the high statistics sample of W/Z + jets events collected at the Tevatron is a valuable testbed for probing the validity of these calculations. The final state containing a Z or W boson and one or more b-jets is a promising Higgs search channel at the Tevatron and could be a window to new physics at the LHC. These searches benefit from a deep understanding of the production of W/Z + heavy flavor jets which constitutes a significant background to the more exotic sources of this signature. Herein the latest Tevatron results on these production mechanisms are reviewed with an emphasis on comparison of data results to the latest theoretical models.

Abstract: Studies of the production of W/Z + jets are important for a variety of reasons. W/Z + inclusive jets is a valuable high statistics sample that allows one to probe the validity of predictions from perturbative Quantum Chromodynamics (pQCD) at both leading and next-to-leading order. W/Z + heavy flavor jets (those originating from b or c production) is a significant background to top and Higgs at the Tevatron and will play an important role at the LHC as well. Herein the latest Tevatron results on these production mechanisms are reviewed with an emphasis on comparison of data results to the latest theoretical models.

Abstract: In this thesis a rendering system and an accompanying tool chain for Virtual Texturing is presented. Our tools allow to automatically retexture existing geometry in order to apply unique texturing on each face. Furthermore we investigate several techniques that try to minimize visual artifacts in the case that only a small amount of pages can be streamed per frame. We analyze the influence of different heuristics that are responsible for the page selection. Alongside these results we present a measurement method to allow the comparison of our heuristics.
First-order regret bounds for combinatorial semi-bandits

Abstract: We consider the problem of online combinatorial optimization under semi-bandit feedback, where a learner has to repeatedly pick actions from a combinatorial decision set in order to minimize the total losses associated with its decisions. After making each decision, the learner observes the losses associated with its action, but not other losses. For this problem, there are several learning algorithms that guarantee that the learner's expected regret grows as $\widetilde{O}(\sqrt{T})$ with the number of rounds $T$. In this paper, we propose an algorithm that improves this scaling to $\widetilde{O}(\sqrt{{L_T^*}})$, where $L_T^*$ is the total loss of the best action. Our algorithm is among the first to achieve such guarantees in a partial-feedback scheme, and the first one to do so in a combinatorial setting.
Explore no more: Improved high-probability regret bounds for non-stochastic bandits

Abstract: This work addresses the problem of regret minimization in non-stochastic multi-armed bandit problems, focusing on performance guarantees that hold with high probability. Such results are rather scarce in the literature since proving them requires a large deal of technical effort and significant modifications to the standard, more intuitive algorithms that come only with guarantees that hold on expectation. One of these modifications is forcing the learner to sample arms from the uniform distribution at least $\Omega(\sqrt{T})$ times over $T$ rounds, which can adversely affect performance if many of the arms are suboptimal. While it is widely conjectured that this property is essential for proving high-probability regret bounds, we show in this paper that it is possible to achieve such strong results without this undesirable exploration component. Our result relies on a simple and intuitive loss-estimation strategy called Implicit eXploration (IX) that allows a remarkably clean analysis. To demonstrate the flexibility of our technique, we derive several improved high-probability bounds for various extensions of the standard multi-armed bandit framework. Finally, we conduct a simple experiment that illustrates the robustness of our implicit exploration technique.

Abstract: this paper presents a quantitative study of the use of the konjunktiv and indikativ moods in german indirect speech. by analyzing a corpus of 400 news articles of online publications, it describes the factors that influence the choice of indirect speech mood. for this purpose, the following hypotheses were considered: the choice of indirect speech mood can be influenced by the type of reporting verb (sagen/to say, erkl?ren/to explain, etc), by its position (before or after the indirect speech), by the tense of the reporting verb, by the type of verb of the indirect speech (regular, irregular, auxiliary), if the subordinate clause is initiated or not by a conjunction, the degree of embeddedness of the subordinate clause and the distance between the reporting verb and the verb of the indirect speech.

Abstract: A quantum mechanical treatment of an asymmetric double-well potential (DWP) interacting with a heat bath is presented for circumstances where the contribution of higher vibrational levels to the relaxation dynamics cannot be excluded from consideration. The deep quantum limit characterized by a discrete energy spectrum near the barrier top is considered. The investigation is motivated by simulations on a computer glass which show that the considered parameter regime is ``typical'' for DWPs being responsible for the relaxation peak of sound absorption in glasses. Relaxation dynamics resembling the spatial- and energy-diffusion-controlled limit of the classical Kramers' problem, and Arrhenius-like behavior is found under specific conditions.

The moments of these distinguished stochastic processes are identified with the Hilbert space vacuum expectation values of products of $\hat{\om}_q (t) = \gam\,\big(\, a_q(t) + a_q^{\dag} (t) \,\big)\;+ \; \xi\, a_q^{\dag} (t) a_q(t)$ with fixed parameters $q$, $\gam$ and $\xi$.
