SOAP-Based Security Interaction of Web Service inHeterogeneous Platforms  [PDF]

Abstract: With the development and application of SOA technology, security issues of Web services based on heterogeneous platform have become increasingly prominent. The security of SOAP message is of great importance to Web service security. In order to solve the security issue of heterogeneous platforms, a security processing model named SIMSA (Security Interactive Model based on SOAP and Authentication) based on SOAP and authentication is proposed in this paper. By experimental verification, the model ensures the safety of SOAP message transmission and enhances the security of Web service in heterogeneous platforms.
The Impact of Economic Policy Uncertainty on Bank Credit Scale—An Empirical Study Based on Dynamic Panel System GMM Model  [PDF]

Abstract: With the occurrence of international events such as the US election, the Brexit, the Middle East civil war and the intensification of the Sino-US trade war, the global politics and economy will be on the road of deepening adjustment, and the political and economic uncertainty around the world will continue to increase. Faced with an increasingly complex and volatile economic situation and policy environment, China’s economic policy uncertainty is also increasing. Based on unbalanced panel data of 142 commercial banks in China from 2007 to 2016, the paper uses GMM model to examine the impact of economic policy uncertainty on bank credit. The empirical result shows that the increase in uncertainty will lead to conservative banking behavior and suppress the scale of bank credit. At the same time, this uncertainty will have a greater impact on non-state banks and non-listed banks.
A Data-Placement Strategy Based on Genetic Algorithm in Cloud Computing  [PDF]

Abstract: With the development of Computerized Business Application, the amount of data is increasing exponentially. Cloud computing provides high performance computing resources and mass storage resources for massive data processing. In distributed cloud computing systems, data intensive computing can lead to data scheduling between data centers. Reasonable data placement can reduce data scheduling between the data centers effectively, and improve the data acquisition efficiency of users. In this paper, the mathematical model of data scheduling between data centers is built. By means of the global optimization ability of the genetic algorithm, generational evolution produces better approximate solution, and gets the best approximation of the data placement at last. The experimental results show that genetic algorithm can effectively work out the approximate optimal data placement, and minimize data scheduling between data centers.

Abstract: Of the many “exotic” commodities from the West that have changed the lifestyle of the Chinese people over the course of the past two centuries, the bicycle stands out as a prominent example. It has so thoroughly transformed the Chinese mode of transportation that China in the late twentieth century was known as “the kingdom of bicycles.” This essay examines the history of that transformation. The first recorded importation of bicycles to Shanghai took place in 1868. Initially rejected by prospective customers for their incompatibility with Chinese cultural and social conventions, bicycles eventually gained visibility on the streets of many cities and suburbs. The bicycle meant many different things to different sectors of the population, and the social meaning of the bike also changed over time.The first section of this article offers an overview of modern Chinese cyclists. The author argues that early adopters were Manchu aristocrats and wealthy individuals who sported their bicycles on bumpy roads for the sheer enjoyment of the bike’s exotic quality. The second section of the article examines the story of Pu Yi, the last Qing ruler, and bikers in the Forbidden City. The third section examines women bike riders in China. The author presents evidence to show that cycling carried no liberating connotations for modern Chinese women. By the 1930s, bicycles had lost their exotic quality. They also came to be associated with the comings and goings of urban working people, when cars became the vehicles of the social and economic elite. The outbreak of the Sino-Japanese War (1937-45) created a petroleum shortage that grounded all private cars. Bicycles then emerged as the common mode of transportation for the rich as well as the poor, men as well as women. It was the war that laid the foundation for China’s modern transformation into a nation of bicycles.Note: Article is in Chinese.
Characterization and biological activities of lectin isolated from Pinellia ternata  [PDF]

Abstract: In this paper, Pinellia ternata lectin (PTL) purified from 95% saturated ammonium sulfate precipitation by applying mannose-Sepharose 4B affinity column chromatography was first described. The mannose-Sepharose 4B affinity adsorption gel has already been designed and prepared before the experiments according the combinative characterization between lectin and mannose. Mass spectrometry analysis result shows that PTL is a glycoprotein with the molecular weight of 12.165 kD. It was conclude that PTL had strong agglutination effects on mouse red blood cells, and the minimum reaction concentration was 25 μg/ml according the Hemagglutination. Results of automatic amino acid analysis indicated that PTL mainly contained 15 varieties of amino acids, of which the minimum content was cysteine and aspartate was the maximum. Cell experiment results suggested that PTL of low concentrations (0.004 mg/ml, 0.02 mg/ml and 0.1 mg/ml) promoted HeLa cell proliferation, but the effect weakened with the concentrations and treated-time increasing. However, the HeLa cells pro- liferation was intensively inhibited by higher PTL concentrations (0.5 mg/ml and 1 mg/ml), and the effect increased in a dose and time dependent manner.
Spectral Correction Method of Multi-Channels Near-Infrared Spectrometer and Applications  [PDF]

Abstract: Near-infrared (NIR) spectrometer based on semiconductor lasers can combine light source and splitter into one, which is an important direction for development of miniature instruments. In order to avoid random interference caused by inconsistency between light sources, the novel evaluation indicators for global stability of multi-channels spectral system were proposed based on the correlation between dynamic deviation spectra of any two channels. The NIR analysis of moisture for corn powder samples based on the partial least squares combined with Savitzky-Golay (SG) smoothing was taken as an example, and a spectral correction method for enhancing prediction performance of multi-channels spectral system was further provided using above evaluation indicators. The experiment results showed that the global stability evaluation indicators significantly increased after SG smoothing correction. Meanwhile, the root-mean-square errors of prediction for corn moisture reduced from 0.373 to 0.283 (%), and the correlation coefficient between predicted and actual values was improved from 0.702 to 0.855. The above results indicated that by improving global stability indicators, the prediction ability of multi-channels spectral system can be improved. The proposed method provided a valuable reference for designing multi-channels diminutive spectrometer with high prediction performance, which had significance for large-scale application of NIR technology.
Effects of Surface Modification of MWCNT on the Mechanical and Electrical Properties of Fluoro Elastomer/MWCNT Nanocomposites

Abstract: Surface modification is a good way to improve the surface activity and interfacial strength of multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) when used as fillers in the polymer composites. Among the reported methods for nanotube modification, mixed acid oxidation and plasma treatment is often used by introducing polar groups to the sidewall of MWCNT successfully. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of different surface modification of MWCNT on the mechanical property and electrical conductivity of Fluoro-elastomer (FE)/MWCNT nanocomposites. MWCNTs were surface modified by mixed oxidation and CF4 plasma treatment and then used to reinforce the fluoro elastomer (FE, a copolymer of trifluorochloroethylene and polyvinylidene fluoride). FE/MWCNT composite films were prepared from mixture solutions of ethylacetate and butylacetate, using untreated CNTs (UCNTs), acid-modified CNTs (ACNTs), and CF4 plasma-modified CNT (FCNTs). In each case, MWCNT content was 0.01 wt%, 0.05 wt%, 0.1 wt%, and 0.2 wt% with respect to the polymer. Morphology and mechanical properties were characterized by using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Raman spectroscopy, as well as dynamic mechanical tests. The SEM results indicated that dispersion of ACNTs and especially FCNTs in FE was better than that of UCNTs. DMA indicated mechanical properties of FCNT composites were improved over ACNT and UCNT filled FE. The resulting electrical properties of the composites ranged from dielectric behavior to bulk conductivities of 10-2 Sm-1 and were found to depend strongly on the surface modification methods of MWCNTs.

Abstract: Color is the phenomenon of human visual perception and the module of machine vision. Color information is widely used in the areas of virtual reality and humancomputer interaction. Color is the product of a visual environment, illumination and the human brain. Research on color information representation and its processing is typically interdisciplinary. Based on our research work on human color perception and machine color vision and its application, we summarized the hotspots of color studies in recent developments and new approaches to color vision, including basic theories and the application of color information in virtual reality, content-based image retrieval, and face recognition.

Abstract: Vocabulary teaching has become the top priority in language teachers’ agenda. Though a great amount of efforts have been plunged into vocabulary teaching, few amounts of achievements have been reached for lack of efficient vocabulary teaching model, particularly for Chinese EFL learners at university level. This paper, from the perspective of frame semantics, recommends semantic frame as an English vocabulary teaching model and finds that semantic frame will contribute to English vocabulary teaching in three aspects, namely word accumulation, word in long-term memory, and accumulation of pragmatic knowledge.
