A Comparative Study Among Sports Teachers And Non-sports Teachers Respect To Personality

Abstract: The purpose of the study to find out the personality characteristics among sports teachers and non-sports teachers. Personality Inventory (N.E.O.P.I) by Paul T. Costa, Jr., Ph.D. & Robert R. McCrae, Ph.D. 1989, 1992. Besides a PDS was used to get other necessary information about the teachers. Hypotheses of the study There will be significant difference between Sports teachers and Non-Sports teachers on the dimension of personality i e Openness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness and Neuroticism. Conclusion 1. Sports Teachers have significantly high openness than Non- Sports Teachers. 2. Sports Teachers have significantly high conscientiousness than Non- Sports Teachers. 3. Sports Teachers have significantly high extraversion than Non- Sports Teachers. 4. There were no significant differences in between Sports Teachers and Non- Sports Teachers dimension of agreeableness. 5. Sports Teachers have significantly high neuroticism than Non- Sports Teachers.

Abstract: The basic preconditions to successful functioning of sports at school are the skilled teaching staff, sport facilities in schools, the students’ interest in sport and management of the extracurricular activities. Macedonian School Sport Federation includes activities at different levels that contribute to the development of sport in the Republic of Macedonia. Involvement of students in sports activities implies that it is necessary to make even greater efforts for greater participation in sports activities.

Abstract: The study on University Teachers ' sports participation and their job satisfaction relationship for empirical research, mainly from the group to participate in sports activities situation on the object of study, investigation and mathematical statistics analysis SPSS. Results show that sports groups participate in job satisfaction higher than those in groups of job satisfaction; sports participation, different job satisfaction is also different. Recommendations for college teachers to address their life and the characteristics of their own conditions choose to suit your participation, improve psychological and physiological health, timely adjust the mood state, to positive psychological state of work, high job satisfaction. Different organizations accord to their occupation characteristics and available resources and actively guide the organization members form a more scientific and reasonable habits and ways of life, fully mobilize the enthusiasm of participating in the fitness activity, to create a more intense fitness culture atmosphere, in order to improve internal cohesion and centripetal force, improve job satisfaction.
ATTITUDE AND KNOWLEDGE TOWARDS TOOTH AVULSION AMONG SPORTS TEACHERS

Abstract: Background: Tooth avulsion is one of the commonest types of physical sport injury. Themanagement of these cases is critical in order to prevent complete loss of tooth and its subsequentconsequences. The prognosis of such avulsed tooth depends on prompt treatment. The emergencymanagement of such avulsed tooth is made by the sports teacher who is present at the sports ground. Thefirst–aid knowledge about tooth avulsion is must for the sports teacher. Aim: The objective of the presentstudy was to evaluate the knowledge about management of tooth avulsion among sports teachers inAhmednagar District. Methods: A sample of 60 sports teachers were interviewed from different schools.The data was collected using a self administered questionnaire containing seven items which wasdistributed among the sports teacher from different schools. Results: we found that 90% of the sportsteachers were not having the first-aid knowledge about the emergency management of avulsed tooth andthe benefit of timely care. This demands an effort to properly educate sports teachers about first-aidmanagement and consequently change their attitude towards dental trauma.
Study of Competency of Sports Teachers in Colleges and Universities Base on Students’ Cognition

Abstract: With the improvements of physical education in Chinese colleges and universities, the main body of sports teaching value transforms from social value to student’s value. Current performances of competency studies exist some problems like study objects and study scopes. There are some shortages in leading teachers to education reform, stimulating developments of teachers’ careers and adapting to the requirements of curriculum reforms. This study uses literature research method, behavioral event interview method, group focus interview method, mathematical statistics method, etc, analyzes the factor set of competency in pare to analysis, which includes 20 factors like character, understanding, innovation, learning, etc; the competency model includes for dimensions such as individual character, interpersonal communication, teaching organization and qualities; this study clarifies the competency model of sports teachers in colleges and universities base on students’ recognition and gives various factors and dimensions and parameter evaluations of such model. This model demands competency evaluations under the idea of satisfying the students. Its practical applications can provide references for curriculum reforms and some proofs for career training and career development. It is also the abundance and development of analysis of competency.
Perception of Community about the Role of Sports in Social Training of Youth

Abstract: A research study was conducted to examine the perception of community about role of sports in social training of youth. The community comprised of Parents, Teachers, Students and Alumni. A structured questionnaire on three point Likert scale was developed and utilized for collection of data from 426 respondents selected through stratified sampling and random sampling technique in D.I.Khan Division of Pakistan’s during the year 2011. The result of the study indicated majority of community members have a very significant knowledge of the role of sports in social training of youth.

Abstract: According to U an (1998), the musical communication provided by piano between music teacher and students highly affectsthe formation of desired behavior and behavioral changes for the individual (MEB, 2006;5). Because piano is an instrument thatenables pleasure education for students via tone limit width, can be used easily in polyphonic audio education without anyintonation disrupt or difficulty because portes are stable, and it is a very important assistant to the music teacher in classroommusic teaching because it is an harmonically accompany instrument. So, piano can be defined as the most suitable instrument toeducation with these features.According to Fink; “conveniently developing the technical skills from the very beginning of piano education is seen as anapproach to enable students play the piano sensitively and effectively” (Ekinci, 2004;185). So, it is very important to providestudents with conscious, continuous and carefully applied basic behaviors (Ercan, 2008;8). In this education process, studentsshould be taught the instrument techniques, how the student should practice individually should be mentioned; the studentshould be given correct and effective music listening habits ( zmente , 2005;97).Today, the main sources from which the students of music teaching departments the aim of which is raising music teachersare Fine Arts and Sports High Schools. The music fields of these high schools have an important pre-university music teachingrole because they introduce the students with music culture, teach basic music theories, they give the student basic instrumentinformation and skills for four years. So, it can be said the music education given in GSSL lays the foundation for music teachinguniversity education (Bulut, 2005;402). In these high schools, the basic dimension for music education is piano education andpiano education is the basis for music education. This education includes stage by stage; technique and practice etudes, samples ofTurkish and international composers’ Works, education music samples, piano literature and teaching and learning methodology inschool music education (MEB, 2006;7).The piano teachers in GSSL are supposed to give the students the piano information, skills and behaviors required in thementioned content. The Relationship between Foreign Language Achievement, Academic Self-Concept, and Attitudes towards Foreign Languages of Prospective Physical Education Teachers

Abstract: The present research is aimed at examining the relationship between Foreign Language achievement, attitudes towards foreign languages and academic self-concept in the Prep Class of prospective Physical Education teachers. The sample consisted of 32.9% females and 67.1% males, totaling 73 students, in the School of Physical Education and Sports at Ege University. In the study, “The Attitude Scale towards Foreign Languages” developed by Saracalo lu (1992) and “Academic Self-Concept Scale” adapted by Gürel (1986) were administered to the sample. In the research, the data were analyzed by ANOVA, Scheffe and LSD tests, correlation and multiple regression analysis. There was a positive relationship between/among foreign language achievement, academic self-concept (r=.90) and foreign language attitudes (r=.79). There was also a significant relationship between academic self-concept and foreign language attitudes (r=.90). Attitudes towards foreign languages and academic self-concept account for 82% of the variance in foreign language achievement. On the other hand, when foreign language attitudes are statistically fixed, academic self-concept accounts only for 44% of the variance in achievement. In this respect, academic self-concept is the most important factor that accounts for the variance in Prep Class achievement.

Abstract:
Teachers are very important to the community and nation especially in school. They help students with their full responsibility to make sure stu-dents get the best result in their exams. Teachers give their full commitment during their class hours and sometimes also during school holidays. It truly for sure needs to help students get all the information and knowledge to prepare for their exams. But, dissatisfaction among them nowadays is needed to see in clear view for ministry. According to [1], there are a variety of factors that can influence a person’s level of job satisfaction. Some of these factors include the level of pay and benefits, the perceived fairness of the promotion system within a company, the quality of the working conditions, leaderships and social relationships and the job itself. Why they do not satisfy with the job? This paper discusses job satisfaction among sports teacher in primary school at Kulim district in Malaysia.
