Abstract: The present study underlines the strategic approaches used by the Romanian sportive units with a viewto sustaining the basic high performance competition pattern at the beginning of an Olympic cycle (2009-2012),as well as the geographical diffusion of the potential human resources, with the purpose of improving theorganization of the representative Romanian judo lots. The strategic approaches used for the last past years inside the Romanian sportive units had thetendency of encouraging more and more numerous collaborations. In 2009 the Romanian junior, teens and seniorjudoka participated in the Individual National Championship, by reuniting groups of 1-4 sections sometimesquite geographically distant. This approach characteristic to the entire Romanian sport system started about 5-6years ago, but begins to show uncontrolled dimensions. Our research emphasizes the fact that strategicapproaches based on the collaboration of sportive units is at this very moment a “necessary evil”, but thephenomenon must be controlled or standardized at the level of each sport federation. As far as judo is concerned, the collaborations between different sportive units show a decrease of the section representation efficiency, oncethe number of participant increases, also suggesting other hidden anomalies. The statistic calculus of the results registered by the sport structures involved in the Romanianperformance sport, shows that the combined sportive structures generally obtain the most medals. There arehowever individual sections that register high performances, and the comparison between the individual sportivestructures and the combined ones can only lead to useful and objective conclusions. This paper also underlines the differences between the best performances of the most efficient sportivestructures opting for the collaboration, if compared to the best individual results. Thus, one notices theimportance of the statistic calculus of the sportive structures, calculus which is made based on the criterion of theconcrete contribution on gaining national medals. This very statistic, divided into age or sex categories may offerreal support in establishing the managerial orientations of the Judo R.F, indicating middle term orientations (theactual Olympic cycle) as well as long term ones (the future Olympic cycle) with reference to the best suitedlocations for organizing representative lots; the background is that of making the bestof the available resources, discovering the units that need support, the general objective being that ofhigh potential sportsmen affirmation.

Abstract: Moves in rhythmic gymnastics require a very good technique both biomechanically, esthetically and artistically speaking, thus relating this sportive field to art. That is why scoring the contest exercises is made according to the scoring code that penalizes each and every technical mistake. In order to ensure the training’s quality and efficiency, technical mistakes require a special type of analysis, allowing their correct identification and their subsequent elimination from the training process. An efficient method of providing feedback about the gymnasts’ mistakes is the use of video registrations, where the move’s main characteristics can be noted. Therefore, our paper’s goals are the video analysis of the main types of ball handling and the role of the feedback in correcting technical mistakes in rhythmic gymnastics. The batch of athletes included 4 gymnasts of the third category who participated in both contests (National Juniors’ Championship and Romanian Cup) of 2010 and 2011. Upon applying the method of video analysis and comparing the results of the two contests, we have noted the increase of the gymnasts’ scores, as shown by the values of the Student t” test, where we note a significance threshold of p<0.001. By interpreting the results, we can assert that the application of this method led to the gymnasts’ awareness of their own technical value and to achieving remarkable results in competitions.

Abstract: All over Europe, professional football clubs have been transformed into profit oriented incorporations and their performances have been judged on and off the field of play. Football has begun to be considered as a business in Turkey mostly as of late 90’s. In this study, we investigate the possible impact of the financial performances of incorporations on the sportive performances in the domestic league for the four major football clubs in Turkey, namelyBeoiktao, Fenerbah e, Galatasaray and Trabzonspor over the period 2002-2009. In order to carry out this study, we use variables from the financial statements of these clubs’ incorporations as a measure of their financial performances and sportive results obtained in the domestic league as an indicator of the sportive performance using a Spearman correlation model. The results of this study indicate that it appears to be no correlation between the sportive performances of the clubs and financial performances of their incorporations in the above mentioned period.

As well, the consideration that physical education lessons are a way to access to extracurricular physical-sportive practice is mainly associated to women. The more useful are the lived experiences during P.E. lessons, the more is the number of feminine students who go on practicing and less is the number of people that give up sport. In fact, seven out of ten of feminine students who refer to these lessons as very useful, keep on practicing and three of them abandon physical activity. This relationship is not established taking about masculine genre.

Regressions showed that Feeling types took longer to be promoted to managerial roles, and that Perceiving types took longer to be promoted to senior positions. Implications for the selection and management of people were considered.
