An Ecologic Approach to Chinese Traditional Ethnic Sports Education  [PDF]

Abstract: This research aims to discuss and explore, from the perspective of Ecologic Education, the ecologic characteristics of the traditional Chinese sports education and the developmental direction of the teaching model of Chinese traditional ethnic sports education under the guide of the view of Ecologic Education. Firstly, this research explores the background of the appearing of the view of Ecologic Education and the basic ideas of Ecologic Education. After that, the writer of this article comes up with the ecologic characteristics particularly embraced in Chinese traditional ethnic sports education. These characteristics or features include the educational aim of pursuing harmony, the developmental model of advocating co-existence, the knowledge view of cultural circumstance, and the interactive and win-win relationship between teachers and students. After the analysis made above, the writer of this article further argues that under the view of Ecologic Education pursuing life education full of spirituality, focusing on the active construction of knowledge and exploring multiple ways of enculturation can be the very direction of the teaching model of Chinese traditional ethnic sports education.
Gelation of Antheraea pernyi Silk Fibroin Accelerated by Shearing  [PDF]

Abstract:

The rapid manufacture of silk fibroin gels in mild conditions is an important subject in the field of silk-based biomaterials. In this study, the gelation of Antheraea pernyi silk fibroin (ASF) aqueous solution was induced by shearing, without chemical cross-linking agents. Simple shearing controlled and accomplished the steady and rapid conformational transition to β-sheets with ease. The conformational transformation and rapid gelation mechanisms of ASF induced by shearing were tracked and analyzed by circular dichroism spectrometry, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and X-ray diffractometry, then compared with Bombyx mori silk fibroin (BSF). ASF quickly formed hydrogels within 24 - 48 h after shearing under different shearing rates for 30 - 90 min, resulting in sol-gel transformation when the β-sheet content reached nearly 50%, which is the minimum content needed to maintain a stable hydrogel system in ASF. The gel structures remained stable once formed. The rapid gelation of ASF through shearing compared with BSF was achieved because of ASF’s alternating polyalanine-containing units, which tend to form α-helix structures spontaneously. Abstract:

This paper studies how to obtain a reasonable traveling route among given attractions. Toward this purpose, we propose an objective optimization model of routes choosing, which is based on the improved Ant Colony Algorithm. Furthermore, we make some adjustment in parameters in order to improve the precision of this algorithm. For example, the inspired factor has been changed to get better results. Also, the ways of searching have been adjusted so that the traveling routes will be well designed to achieve optimal effects. At last, we select a series of attractions in Beijing as data to do an experimental analysis, which comes out with an optimum route arrangement for the travelers; that is to say, the models we propose and the algorithm we improved are reasonable and effective.

Comparison of Gelation Time and Polyalcohol Effect on Hydrogels from Domestic and Wild Silk Fibroins

Abstract: Silk fibroin (SF) hydrogels were obtained from both domestic (Bombyx mori) and wild (Antheraea pernyi) silkworms from aqueous silk fibroin solutions at room temperature. The gelation time of the Antheraea pernyi (A. pernyi) SF solution was significantly shorter than that of the Bombyx mori (B. mori) SF solution. The secondary structures of the two kinds of hydrogels were also compared. In order to further reduce the gelation time, various amounts of polyethylene glycol (PEG) were blended with the silk fibroins of A. pernyi and B. mori. The gelation time of both A. pernyi SF and B. mori SF decreased with the increased amount of PEG. After freeze-drying, the hydrogels were characterized through X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), and Raman spectroscopy. Results showed that the addition of polyalcohol did not change the main secondary structure of the hydrogels. However, the addition of polyalcohol did reduce the gelation time and triggered additional formation of β-sheets. 1. Introduction Hydrogels can maintain a distinct three-dimensional porous structure with mechanical and structural properties similar to that of many natural tissues and extracellular matrices (ECMs) and can be delivered in a minimally invasive manner [1]. Therefore, hydrogels are of interest for many biomedical applications such as tissue engineering scaffolds, controlled drug release devices, and biosensors [2]. Hydrogels can be made of either synthetic materials or naturally derived materials [3]. Among naturally derived materials, it is agreed that silkworm silk fibroin (SF) is one of the most promising biomaterials because of its excellent biocompatibility, biosafety, controllable biodegradation rates, processability, and mechanical properties [4]. Silkworm silk fibroin is excreted by domestic (B. mori) and wild (A. pernyi) silkworms. Domestic SF hydrogels are of interest for use as bone-filling biomaterials, wound dressing, and so on and have proved to be promising for healing efficacy [5–10]. Compared with B. mori SF, A. pernyi SF, the most familiar wild SF, has more advantages in terms of chemical activity and high-affinity interactions with mammalian cells [11]. A. pernyi SF is rich in amino acids having polarity and ionogenic pendant groups, which are the potential reactive sites of chemical reactions. In terms of amino acids, A. pernyi SF has more Ala, Asp, and Arg and less Gly than does B. mori. Abstract: In this paper, the recovery of transient signals embedded in noise is studied. It is noticed that there is different feature between the transient signal's Gabor coefficients and the noise's Gabor coefficients distributed in time-frequency plane, the Gabor series method is presented for recovering transient signals embedded in noise in terms of hypothesis test theory. The computer simulation is implemented for exponential transient signal. This method is also used to process real-life signals.
Functional remodeling of Ca2+-activated Cl- channel in pacing induced canine failing heart

Abstract: Objective To determine whether Ca2+ activated Cl- current(Icl(Ca)) contributes to the functional remodeling of the failing heart.Methods Whole cell patch-clamp recording technique was employed to record the Icl(Ca) in cardiac myocytes enzymatically isolatedfrom rapidly pacing induced canine failing hearts at room temperature and compared that of the normal hearts (Nor).Results Thecurrent density of DIDS(200M)sensitive Icl(Ca) induced by intracellular Ca2+ release trigged by L-type Ca2+ current(Ica,L)wassignificantly decreased in heart failare(HE)cells compared to Nor cells.At membrane voltage of 20mV,the Icl(Ca) density was 3.02±0.54 pA/pF in Nor(n=6)vs.1.31±0.25 pA/pF in HF(n=8)cells,(P<0.01),while the averaged Ica,L density did not show differencebetween two groups.The time constant of current decay of Icl(Ca) was similar in both types of cells.On the other hand,in intra cellularCa2+ clamped mode,where theCa2+];was maintained at 100nmol/L,Icl(Ca) density be increased significantly in HF cells when themembrane voltage at+30mV or higher.Conclusions Our results suggest that Icl(Ca) density was decreased in pacing induced failingheart but the channel function be enhanced.Impaired Ca2+ handing in HF cells rather than reduced,Icl(Ca) channel function itself may havecaused this abnormality.The Icl(Ca) density reduction might contribute to the prolongation of action potential in failing heart.The Icl(Ca)channel function up-rugulation is likely to cause cardiac arrhythmia by inducing a delayed after depolarization,when Ca2+ overloadoccurred in diastolic failing heart cells.

Abstract: Strategic M&A is focused on the development of enterprises within the same industry or related industries and has multiple effects such as economies of scale, structural integration of upstream and downstream industry chain, powerful alliances and complementary advantages. A major motivation of strategic M&A is the synergistic effect. In the upsurge of M&A at home and abroad, failed to achieve the synergistic effect is one of the important reasons of a high failure rate of M&A. This paper probes into the example of Geely Automobile’s M&A of Swedish Volvo Car Corporation in March 2010 from a strategic angle by analyzing the strategic decision-making, the competitive environment, the me-chanism of action, the evaluation and the realization risks of the synergistic effect, thus to provide references for the M&A practice of Chinese enterprises.
