Research on Algorithm of the Point Set in the Plane Based on Delaunay Triangulation  [PDF]

In the paper, an improved algorithm is presented for Delaunay triangulation of the point-set in the plain. Based on the original algorithm, we propose the notion of removing circle. During the process of triangulation, and the circle dynamically moves, the algorithm which is simple and practical, therefore evidently accelerates the process of searching a new point, while generating a new triangle. Then it shows the effect of the algorithm in the finite element mesh.

Increased CK5/CK8-Positive Intermediate Cells with Stromal Smooth Muscle Cell Atrophy in the Mice Lacking Prostate Epithelial Androgen Receptor

Abstract: Results from tissue recombination experiments documented well that stromal androgen receptor (AR) plays essential roles in prostate development, but epithelial AR has little roles in prostate development. Using cell specific knockout AR strategy, we generated pes-ARKO mouse with knock out of AR only in the prostate epithelial cells and demonstrated that epithelial AR might also play important roles in the development of prostate gland. We found mice lacking the prostate epithelial AR have increased apoptosis in epithelial CK8-positive luminal cells and increased proliferation in epithelial CK5-positive basal cells. The consequences of these two contrasting results could then lead to the expansion of CK5/CK8-positive intermediate cells, accompanied by stromal atrophy and impaired ductal morphogenesis. Molecular mechanism dissection found AR target gene, TGF-β1, might play important roles in this epithelial AR-to-stromal morphogenesis modulation. Collectively, these results provided novel information relevant to epithelial AR functions in epithelial-stromal interactions during the development of normal prostate, and suggested AR could also function as suppressor in selective cells within prostate.
Simulation Experiments and Kinetics for the Formation of Organic Sulfide in Marine Carbonate Reservoirs  [PDF]

Abstract: Thermal simulation experiments on the system of gasoline and magnesium sulfate were carried out using an autoclave operating at high temperature and high pressure in the presence of water. Properties of the gas-oil-solid 3-phase products were analyzed by some advanced analytical methods including gas chromatography, microcoulometry, capillary gas chromatography in combination with a pulsed flame photometric detector, FT-IR and X-ray diffraction. The results showed that the reaction could proceed at 450℃ - 550℃ to produce MgO, S, C, H2S, CO2 and a series of organic sulfides such as mercaptans, sulfoethers and thiophenes as the main products. According to the reaction kinetics, the calculated activation energy of the reaction is 68.9 kJ·mol-1.
Characterizing the Network of Drugs and Their Affected Metabolic Subpathways

Abstract: A fundamental issue in biology and medicine is illustration of the overall drug impact which is always the consequence of changes in local regions of metabolic pathways (subpathways). To gain insights into the global relationship between drugs and their affected metabolic subpathways, we constructed a drug–metabolic subpathway network (DRSN). This network included 3925 significant drug–metabolic subpathway associations representing drug dual effects. Through analyses based on network biology, we found that if drugs were linked to the same subpathways in the DRSN, they tended to share the same indications and side effects. Furthermore, if drugs shared more subpathways, they tended to share more side effects. We then calculated the association score by integrating drug-affected subpathways and disease-related subpathways to quantify the extent of the associations between each drug class and disease class. The results showed some close drug–disease associations such as sex hormone drugs and cancer suggesting drug dual effects. Surprisingly, most drugs displayed close associations with their side effects rather than their indications. To further investigate the mechanism of drug dual effects, we classified all the subpathways in the DRSN into therapeutic and non-therapeutic subpathways representing drug therapeutic effects and side effects. Compared to drug side effects, the therapeutic effects tended to work through tissue-specific genes and these genes tend to be expressed in the adrenal gland, liver and kidney; while drug side effects always occurred in the liver, bone marrow and trachea. Taken together, the DRSN could provide great insights into understanding the global relationship between drugs and metabolic subpathways.

The crystal packing exhibits no intermolecular contacts shorter than the sum of van der Waals radii.

Primary and Secondary School Counseling Staff Self-Efficacy Relevant Factors  [PDF]

Abstract: Objective: To understand the general self-efficacy of full-time and part-time counseling staff in primary and secondary schools. Methods: 108 counseling staff from primary and secondary schools in Foshan City were selected using multi-stage random sampling method, and investigated by self-made questionnaire, Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire (SCSQ) and General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSES). Results: Different academic staff had different positive coping styles scores (P < 0.05). People with Master’s degree and above selected more mature way than that of college staff, and people with lower educational level (2.56 ± 0.34, 2.02 ± 0.40, P < 0.05); People with different jobs showed different negative coping styles and self-efficacy (P < 0.01); Score of negative coping styles of part-time staff was higher than that of full-time staff(1.21 ± 0.59, 0.94 ± 0.36), while their sense of self-efficacy was lower than that of full-time staff (2.51 ± 0.49, 2.83 ± 0.39). However there was no statistical difference among people from different majors and jobs on positive coping styles, negative coping styles and self-efficacy (P > 0.05). High self-efficacy group had higher scores of positive coping styles than that of low self-efficacy group (2.17 ± 0.36,1.97 ± 0.43, P < 0.05); Positive correlation had been found between self-efficacy and positive coping styles (r = 0.307, P < 0.01). Conclusion: Self-efficacy of counseling staff in primary and secondary schools is related to positive coping styles and job styles kinds (full-time or part-time).

Thus the lagging and patching method of accounting standards made the conceptual framework which was ever explored in the past back to the IASB agenda again. This paper mainly described the latest progress of the conceptual framework after IASB released Discussion Paper, analyzed the characteristics of the restatement of CF, and proposed several thoughts for the China CF and accounting standards.
Quantum-Inspired Neural Network with Quantum Weights and Real Weights  [PDF]

Abstract: To enhance the approximation ability of neural networks, by introducing quantum rotation gates to the traditional BP networks, a novel quantum-inspired neural network model is proposed in this paper. In our model, the hidden layer consists of quantum neurons. Each quantum neuron carries a group of quantum rotation gates which are used to update the quantum weights. Both input and output layer are composed of the traditional neurons. By employing the back propagation algorithm, the training algorithms are designed. Simulation-based experiments using two application examples of pattern recognition and function approximation, respectively, illustrate the availability of the proposed model.
