Design of a Monitoring System of Micro-Grid  [PDF]

Abstract: This paper describes a micro-grid system and its monitoring system. This micro-grid system consists of generation systems, consumer electrical equipments, auxiliary equipments and the monitoring system. All the equipments have 485 communication interfaces. In order to monitor and manage this micro-grid system, we built a monitoring system, which contains modular instrument system and industrial personal computer. In order to keep real time, we adopt some measures in software and hardware. We adopt LABVIEW and its program modules in software and adopt modular instrument system in hardware. Supporting by the software and hardware, the micro-grid system can be safe and stable.

Abstract: Objective: To improve the teaching quality of water resources optimization teaching and train students to master advanced and quick methods or techniques to solve the problems of integer programming of engineering projects. Method: This paper introduces LINGO software to solve integer programming problems in integer programming teaching, and explains the entire process with the example. Results: Through the construction of the example model and the use of LINGO software, it shows that: the LINGO software programming language is clear; the solution to the programming problem is simple; the solution speed is fast; and the accuracy is high. Conclusion: LINGO software can solve complex integer programming models more easily and quickly. It has a wide range of applications and has a strong application value.
Driving a Dielectric Cylindrical Particle with a One Dimensional Airy Beam: a Rigorous Full Wave Solution

Abstract: We present a rigorous full wave calculation of the optical force on a dielectric cylindrical particle of an arbitrary size under the illumination of one dimensional (1D) Airy beam. The radiation force is written in terms of the cylindrical partial wave expansion coefficients of the non-paraxial 1D Airy beams. Our simulation results demonstrate that an Airy beam can accelerate the microparticles along its parabolic trajectory, while transverse to which the particles are trapped at the center of its main lobe, corroborating the possibility of the long distance particle transport by means of an Airy beam.
A simple route to a tunable electromagnetic gateway

Abstract: Transformation optics is used to design a gateway that can block electromagnetic waves but allows the passage of other entities. Our conceptual device has the advantage that it can be realized with simple materials and structural parameters and can have a reasonably wide bandwidth. In particular, we show that our system can be implemented by using a magnetic photonic crystal structure that employs a square ray of ferrite rods, and as the field response of ferrites can be tuned by external magnetic fields, we end up with an electromagnetic gateway that can be open or shut using external fields. The functionality is also robust against the positional disorder of the rods that made up the photonic crystal.

Abstract: When an oscillating line source is placed in front of a special mirror consisting of an array of flat uniformly spaced ferrite rods, half of the image disappeared at some frequency. We believe that this comes from the coupling to photonic states of the magnetic surface plasmon band. These states exhibit giant circulations that only go in one direction due to time reversal symmetry breaking. Possible applications of this "rectifying" reflection include a robust one-way waveguide, a 90 degree beam bender and a beam splitter, which are shown to work even in the deep subwavelength scale.

Abstract: The Chinese translation of Coca Cola is thought to be a well-known good translation, and many people discussed the translation or brand translation with it as an example. A large number of books or articles generally and abstractly conclude that the Chinese translation leaves people a kind of feeling of coolness and cleanness, pleases and attracts consumers’ attention and their favor, however there is not still a book or an article studying systematically and scientifically how good the translation is, neither wholly from perspectives of linguistics, culture and aesthetic translation. Based on the literature review and comparative analysis with cultural translation study and translation aesthetics, the thesis is to discover how good the translation is, based on the analysis of Chinese translation of Coca Cola from the aspects of linguistics, culture and translation aesthetics, and to build a criticism model of translation of brand names, in addition, to analyze the enlightenment of this translation in other translation activities.

Philosophical Interpretation on E. A. Nida’s Definition of Translation

Abstract: Since 1980s, E.A. Nida’s translation equivalence theory experiences a history of rising, booming and declining in China, and his translation theories and concepts are also widely quoted and discussed. However, the focuses are mainly on what is equivalence, the realization of equivalence, what levels of equivalence, the applicability of his theory and mistranslation of his translation in China, and no one discusses his definition of translation from the perspective of philosophy. As the definition of translation will represent the basis and starting point for translation studies, analysing on it will facilitate our understanding to the theory. In this article, based on the tendency of absolutization to his definition, it is to analyse the presupposition and shortage of the definition by philosophical analysis and to urge following researchers to adopt a dialectic and critical attitude to western translation theories, which may advance Chinese translation studies in future.
Translation of Governmental Publicity— Enlightened from the Translation of “Five-dimensional Chongqing Construction”

Abstract: With the rapid development of Chongqing Municipality directly under the People’s Republic of China Central Government, Chongqing Municipality is more and more focused and well-known all over the country. And the construction aim of “wu ge Chongqing” arouses the interest of more people and is widely discussed. However, to internationalize Chongqing Municipality and to attract more foreign people’s eyes, the publicity is crucial and first and foremost. To attract more foreigners, the translation of materials of publicity is decisive and pivotal. Consequently, in this article it is to analyze English translation of “wu ge Chongqing”, and discover the principles and approaches in translating materials of governmental publicity, so as to advance the translation practice of governmental publicity translation and to improve foreigners’ awareness and understanding of governmental publicity.
Multi-Objective Power Allocation for Energy Efficient Wireless Information and Power Transfer Systems

Abstract: Simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT) provides a promising solution for enabling perpetual wireless networks. As energy efficiency (EE) is an im- portant evaluation of system performance, this thesis studies energy-efficient resource allocation algorithm designs in SWIPT systems. We first investigate the trade-off between the EE for information transmission, the EE for power transfer, and the total transmit power in a basic SWIPT system with separated receivers. A multi-objective optimization problem is formulated under the constraint of maximum transmit power. We propose an algorithm which achieves flexible resource allocation for energy efficiencies maxi- mization and transmit power minimization. The trade-off region of the system design objectives is shown in simulation results. Further, we consider secure communication in a SWIPT system with power splitting receivers. Artificial noise is injected to the com- munication channel to combat the eavesdropping capability of potential eavesdroppers. A power-efficient resource allocation algorithm is developed when multiple legitimate information receivers and multi-antenna potential eavesdroppers co-exist in the system. Simulation results demonstrate a significant performance gain by the proposed optimal algorithm compared to suboptimal baseline schemes.
