RSSI Enhanced Microkernel-Based LBS Design  [PDF]

Geographical Information System (GIS) always plays an integral role in LBS systems. But it comes with technology problems, such as less flexible, low efficiency, no redundancy of existing geographic information of application configuration which has high entry cost. At same time, indoors positioning is attracting more and more attention from research domain where GPS-like systems do not work. By RSSI location fingerprint data that sampling from the actual WSN environment, this article analyzed RF signal propagation characteristics in indoor from the point of view of the indoor positioning, and analyzed some factors that may affect the positioning error, which provided a theoretical basis for the positioning algorithm design and positioning system deployment. The aim of this paper is also to present a lightweight, efficient and scalable microkernel plug-in geospatial information application system and its implementation method for GIS in LBS design and practice. In this paper a software model called Resource loading manager (RLM) is designed. Through the RLM efficient allocation of geographic information resources and security management could be achieved.

Abstract: By contrasting the traditional way in which GIS was completed that comes with less flexible, low efficiency, and lack redundancy which cause high entry cost, the fast development of microkernel plug-in technology provides the lightweight, efficient and scalable solution to Geographical Information System (GIS). This paper is to reveal the potential of microkernel plug-in geospatial information processing technology in GIS design and practice, with the acceptance and usage of function model called Resource loading manager(RLM) for GIS applications, which provides a possible solution to overcome the GIS’s high cost issue. After the short review of microkernel plug-in technology, the possibility of GIS design with microkernel is analyzed. This paper also introduced the composition of the whole system and the design of GIS service platform based on middle-ware in detail.

Abstract: Objective: To summarize clinical evidence of traditional Chinese medicine for the prevention and treatment of chronic heart failure systematically and comprehensively. MethodBy retrieving in the database of VIP, WanFang, CNKI, PubMed, Cochrane Library, the qualifying results obtained in the databases above are summarized into the grading evidence including systematic reviews, randomized controlled trials, observational studies, case studies, basic research these five levels. Results: The numbers of the articles included are 12 systematic reviews, 413 randomized controlled trials, 68 observational studies, 15 case reports and 187 fundamental researches. Conclusion: It is concluded that basing on the clinical evidence of different levels, traditional Chinese medicine has prominent ability of preventing and treatment chronic heart failure.

Location Based Services (LBS) have become a popular technology to retrieve information about the surroundings of a mobile user which results in ubiquitous demand of spatial information service with diverse needs of different types of users. The aim of this paper is to reveal the potential of cloud-based spatial information service architecture that plays an integral role in LBS design and practice. This paper analyzes the characteristics of the spatial information of cloud services, such as data access transparency, spatial analysis parallelization, service capabilities flexible, information services standardization, service aggregation visualization, re-development flexible. This paper provides a possible solution to overcome the LBS service issues. In this paper, the short review of LBS and Cloud computing are given first and then the possibility of LBS design with cloud computing are analyzed. At last, cloud-based spatial information service architecture is proposed.
Test Data Compression Scheme Based on Compatible Data Block Coding

Abstract: In order to reduce the storage requirements for the test pattern, a test data compression scheme based on compatible data block coding is presented. In the scheme, binary code is used to express the test data which are compatible or inversely compatible with reference data which are improved compression radio. The circuit structure of decompression with a Finite State Machine (FSM) and a Cyclical Scan Register (CSR) was proposed. Experimental results for the large ISCAS 89 benchmark circuits show that this scheme is a very efficient compression method than other compression schemes and the average compression ratio of up to 63.89%.
Ant Colony Algorithm and Genetic Algorithm Optimization for Test Vector Reordering

Abstract: Power dissipation during testing has been found to be much more than during normal mode due to increased switching activity. Test vector reordering technique helps mitigate this problem as it enables the reduction of switching activity during testing. This study presents a new test vector reordering approach. This approach maps the reordering problem to Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP). A hybrid ant colony algorithm and genetic algorithm is presented to solve this problem. The proposed approach is effective and verified with ISCAS’85 benchmark circuits which shows that yield on an average of about 30.05% reduction in switching activity.

Abstract: Based on the current situation of the domestic transformer equipment selection, the paper analyses the SH15, S11 and S9 transformer from the angles of annual running power consumption, payback period, energy efficiency of the transformer, furthermore, determine the best optimal capacity, load factor and update Year of the SH15-type transformers. Example analysis results show that, from the point of view of the technical and economic the SH15-type transformer has better economic and environmental benefits, and large capacity SH15 transformer better comprehensive benefits.

In LTE (Long Term Evolution) system, CQI (Channel Quality Indication) is a technical method to realize adaptive modulation and coding. The dispatcher of BS (base station) would allocate resource blocks to users dynamically based on CQI of uplink and downlink channels, which is necessary in the process of uplink and downlink transmission [1]. When the CQI level of the channel is high, the energy efficiency is high. On the contrary, when the CQI level of the channel is low, the energy efficiency is low. However, if signals are not transmitted until the quality of the channel is good, energy loss may be lowered in the expense of group delay. That is to say, we take CQI into account on the basis of the technology of DTX [2] [3] (Discontinuous Transmission). According to the result of simulation, the energy consumption can be reduced by using our proposed scheme. Particularly, the energy-saving effect is significant when the load is low.

Abstract: With the development of research in tumor, some of them have been found to secrete beta-human chorionic gonadotropin (β-HCG) ectopically and lung cancer is one of them. Generally, lung cancer secreting β-HCG is mostly undifferentiated small cell carcinoma. Here, we report a rare case of squamous cell lung cancer secreting high level of β-HCG in a postmenopausal female. The tumor secreted β-HCG, measuring 16,500 mIU/ml. The patient presented with hemoptysis and postmenopausal bleeding. Pathological examination of CT-guided biopsy and investigations could not tell whether it was primary squamous cell lung cancer or choriocarcinoma with lung metastasis, to be responsible for the high level of β-HCG. The chemotherapy in the early stage seemed to be effective, but not good in the late stage. Then she underwent a right pulmonary middle lobectomy and the pathological examination finally confirmed the diagnosis of poorly differentiated squamous cell carcinoma. The auxiliary chemotherapy made a decreased β-HCG. Only a few reports of squamous cell lung cancer secreting that high level of β-HCG can be found in the literature.
