INCLUSIVE CULTURE IN PRE-SCHOOL INSTITUTIONS

Journal of Special Education and Rehabilitation , 2011,
Abstract: Inclusive education is a rational concept that refers to the overall and long-term transformation of institutional systems in society, especially in education. Along with the transformation, a number of important and unresolved issues still appear in both theory and practice, as the duty of pre-school institutions and schools is to educate every student in the mainstream education system. One of the most important aspects of inclusion is the inclusive culture. Regardless of the good inclusive policy and practice, one cannot talk about successful inclusion without a properly developed inclusive institutional culture. This paper is a contribution to the research considering the development of inclusive culture in three preschool institutions. It is based on the thinking and attitudes of the pre-school staff toward the necessity of developing and nurturing an inclusive culture. Successful inclusion of pupils with special needs in the mainstream school system cannot be conceived without an inclusive culture.

Market relations in education as the factor, which has impact on the quality of human capital
Valentina Pavlovska
Perspectives of Innovations, Economics and Business , 2009,
Abstract: Market relations in Latvian economy increasingly develop in the field of education. Education becomes a special product and people must know how to sell and how to buy it. Graduates’ ability to fit labour market requirements is an important indicator of education quality. Consequently, the education product should meet labour market requirements. Market research data show that employers, education institutions and students have different visions of what the labour market requirements are.
Fe(III) hepthyldithocarbamate as a new collector for flotation separation and preconcentration of Cr, Cu, and Pb from fresh waters before their determination by ETAAS

Journal of the Brazilian Chemical Society , 2007, DOI: 10.1590/S0103-50532007000600015
Abstract: a method for determination of cr, cu and pb in fresh waters, after flotation separation and preconcentration step, by using electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry (etaas) is presented. the possibility of applying iron(iii) hepthyldithiocarbamate, fe(hpdtc)3, as a collector is studied. the experimental parameters affecting the flotation efficiency by a new collector were optimized. it is ascertained that cr(iii), cr(vi), cu(ii) and pb(ii) can be separated simultaneously from matrix by addition of 20 mg fe(iii) and 6 ml 0.1 mol l-1 hpdtc- to a test sample of 1 l at ph 6.5. the preconcentration factor of the method is 40. the applicability of the new proposed procedure was verified by the method of standard additions and by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (icp oes), as an independent comparative method. the limit of detection for cu by flotation/etaas method is 0.015 μg l-1, for cr is 0.011 μg l-1, and for pb 0.025 μg l-1. it was found that for low concentrations (from 0.025-0.2 μg l-1) rsd for cu is 1.5%, for cr 4.2% and for pb is 7.8%, while for the higher concentration level (from 0.2-4.5 μg l-1) rsd for cu is 1.7%, for cr 2.8% and for pb is 3.7%.
Morphological features of the species of the genus Chlamydomonas s.l. (Chlorophyta) from various molecular clades
Maria N. Pavlovska,Igor Yu. Kostikov
Modern Phytomorphology , 2012,
Abstract: The morphology of 78 authentic strains from 5 clades into culture condition was investigated. The complex of phenotype features was established. Such features as: type of mucilage and their origin, mucilage collapse under methylene blue, saving papilla and stigma in not motile stage, extracellular matrix formation inside cell wall, the way of sporangium break, pyrenoid and stigma habit before cell division, cell shape, chloroplast morphology. Diagnostic features for determination of taxa on clades level are discussed.
ETAAS determination of thallium and silver from water matrix after colloidal precipitate flotation using lead(II) hexamethylenedithiocarbamate

Journal of the Serbian Chemical Society , 2001,
Abstract: Afast method for the preconcentration of thallium and silver in nanogram quantities in fresh drinking waters (source, well, tap) and waters for irrigation using colloidal precipitate flotation is described. Lead(II) hexamethylenedithiocarbamate, Pb(HMDTC)2 played the role of flotation collector. The experimental conditions for the successful separation of thallium and silver (mass of Pb, amount ofHMDTC-, pHof the system, induction time, type of surfactant etc.) were optimized. After flotation separation from the mother liquor, the solid sublate containing traces of thallium and silver was dissolved and the analytes were determined by electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry (ETAAS). The results of the ETAAS analysis are compared with those obtained by inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectrometry. The detection limit for thallium by this method is 0.027 mg/l, and for silver 0.005 microg/l.
Magnetostructure of MnAs on GaAs revisited
Ernst Bauer,Rachid Belkhou,Salia Cherifi,Andrea Locatelli,A. Pavlovska,Nicolas Rougemaille
Physics , 2007, DOI: 10.1116/1.2746353
Abstract: The ferromagnetic to nonferromagnetic (α-β) phase transition in epitaxial MnAs layers on GaAs(100) is studied by x-ray magnetic circular dichroism and x-ray magnetic linear dichroism photoemission electron microscopy in order to elucidate the nature of the controversial nonferromagnetic state of β-MnAs. In the coexistence region of the two phases the β phase shows a clear XMLD signal characteristic of antiferromagnetism. The nature and the possible causes of the elusiveness of this magnetic state are discussed.
