Technological advances favor new ways of offering products and services by companies to their clients thereby affecting various aspects of the organizations and society. One of the agents playing a role in this transformation is the Internet by means of electronic commerce. How does Relationship Marketing position itself when relations with the client become essentially carried out by means of the computer? A discussion is highlighted about the elements of Relationship Marketing to be managed, overcome, assimilated or used in benefit of the companies with results from the Internet or those already active, however under the influence of this new context, seeking to maintain or develop competitive advantages. An exploratory research was conducted in the form of a multicase study of consumer market companies in the S o Paulo metropolitan area. A reflection is made about the practices of Relationship Marketing, the implementation on the company sites and on the mutual interferences between issues inherent to Relationship Marketing and Internet operations.

Indonesian Journal of EFL and Linguistics , 2016, DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.21462/ijefll.v1i1.4
Abstract: Learning English ideally consists of four skills. They are listening, speaking, reading, and writing. All of them are interrelated from one another. Someone who masters four skills of English will be able to communicate in oral or written easily. In fact, speaking English is not easy. Speaking is an interactive process of constructing meaning that involves producing, receiving, and processing information. In this study, the researcher was interested in describing the problems in speaking faced by fourth semester students of English Department at Mulawarman University. Descriptive qualitative research was used as design of this study. The sample of this research consists of 24 students in the fourth semester. The data were obtained through the speaking test and questionnaire. Based on the speaking test and questionnaire, the students faced some problems related to pronunciation, fluency, grammar, and vocabulary. The questionnaire also showed additional findings where students faced other problems, namely not having self-confidence, shyness to speak, being afraid of making mistakes, feeling nervous, and having nothing to say. Next, there are some factors resulting problems of speaking to the students, firstly less of reading habit, uneven participation and English practice both inside and outside the classroom, and confusion on applying grammar rules.

Abstract: A mammalian type opsin 5 (neuropsin) is a recently identified ultraviolet (UV)-sensitive pigment of the retina and other photosensitive organs in birds. Two other opsin 5-related molecules have been found in the genomes of non-mammalian vertebrates. However, their functions have not been examined as yet. Here, we identify the molecular properties of a second avian opsin 5, cOpn5L2 (chicken opsin 5-like 2), and its localization in the post-hatch chicken. Spectrophotometric analysis and radionucleotide-binding assay have revealed that cOpn5L2 is a UV-sensitive bistable pigment that couples with the Gi subtype of guanine nucleotide-binding protein (G protein). As a bistable pigment, it also shows the direct binding ability to agonist all-trans-retinal to activate G protein. The absorption maxima of UV-light-absorbing and visible light-absorbing forms were 350 and 521 nm, respectively. Expression analysis showed relatively high expression of cOpn5L2 mRNA in the adrenal gland, which is not photoreceptive but an endocrine organ, while lower expression was found in the brain and retina. At the protein level, cOpn5L2 immunoreactive cells were present in the chromaffin cells of the adrenal gland. In the brain, cOpn5L2 immunoreactive cells were found in the paraventricular and supraoptic nuclei of the anterior hypothalamus, known for photoreceptive deep brain areas. In the retina, cOpn5L2 protein was localized to subsets of cells in the ganglion cell layer and the inner nuclear layer. These results suggest that the non-mammalian type opsin 5 (Opn5L2) functions as a second UV sensor in the photoreceptive organs, while it might function as chemosensor using its direct binding ability to agonist all-trans-retinal in non-photoreceptive organs such as the adrenal gland of birds.

Health (Health) , 2015, DOI: 10.4236/health.2015.79126
Abstract: Objective: As stroke mortality rates decline in Japan, a large proportion of disabled stroke survivors living in their homes are supported by informal caregivers or formal healthcare services. To evaluate the impact of healthcare provision on outcome of stroke patients living at home, this study investigated the associations of long-term care and health-related quality of life (HRQOL) in patients 1 year after stroke onset. Methods: Data on patient and caregiver characteristics, HRQOL of patients, and healthcare services for those living at home were prospectively collected from 426 patients with stroke at baseline and 12 months. Using general measures of HRQOL, namely, Short Form-36 (SF-36) and EuroQOL 5 dimension (EQ-5D), multivariate regression models were used to determine the contribution of variables to changes in HRQOL scores from discharge to the first year after stroke. Results: Five domains of SF-36—role-physical, vitality, social functioning, role- emotional, and mental health—were significantly improved 1 year after stroke. Factors affecting changes in the five domains of HRQOL were age, independence in activities of daily living, and cognitive function. Home care service was positively associated with role-physical, social functioning, and role-emotional. In addition, home rehabilitation and home bathing services were positively associated with social functioning. Conclusion: This study clarified that improvements of HRQOL 1 year after stroke were associated with use of home-based services involving home care service, home rehabilitation, and home bathing services. The use of home-based services contributed to the improved welfare of patients living at home.
