A new approach for epileptic seizure detection: sample entropy based feature extraction and extreme learning machine  [PDF]
Yuedong Song, Pietro Liò
Journal of Biomedical Science and Engineering (JBiSE) , 2010, DOI: 10.4236/jbise.2010.36078
Abstract: The electroencephalogram (EEG) signal plays a key role in the diagnosis of epilepsy. Substantial data is generated by the EEG recordings of ambulatory recording systems, and detection of epileptic activity requires a time-consuming analysis of the complete length of the EEG time series data by a neurology expert. A variety of automatic epilepsy detection systems have been developed during the last ten years. In this paper, we investigate the potential of a recently-proposed statistical measure parameter regarded as Sample Entropy (SampEn), as a method of feature extraction to the task of classifying three different kinds of EEG signals (normal, interictal and ictal) and detecting epileptic seizures. It is known that the value of the SampEn falls suddenly during an epileptic seizure and this fact is utilized in the proposed diagnosis system. Two different kinds of classification models, back-propagation neural network (BPNN) and the recently-developed extreme learning machine (ELM) are tested in this study. Results show that the proposed automatic epilepsy detection system which uses sample entropy (SampEn) as the only input feature, together with extreme learning machine (ELM) classification model, not only achieves high classification accuracy (95.67%) but also very fast speed.
Adaptive Phase Matching in Grover’s Algorithm  [PDF]
Panchi Li, Kaoping Song
Journal of Quantum Information Science (JQIS) , 2011, DOI: 10.4236/jqis.2011.12006
Abstract: When the Grover’s algorithm is applied to search an unordered database, the successful probability usually decreases with the increase of marked items. In order to solve this problem, an adaptive phase matching is proposed. With application of the new phase matching, when the fraction of marked items is greater , the successful probability is equal to 1 with at most two Grover iterations. The validity of the new phase matching is verified by a search example.
Blow-Up of Solution to Cauchy Problem for the Singularly Perturbed Sixth-Order Boussinesq-Type Equation  [PDF]
Changming Song, Li Chen
Journal of Applied Mathematics and Physics (JAMP) , 2015, DOI: 10.4236/jamp.2015.37103

We consider the singularly perturbed sixth-order Boussinesq-type equation, which describes the bidirectional propagation of small amplitude and long capillary gravity waves on the surface of shallow water for bond number (surface tension parameter) less than but very close to 1/3. The sufficient conditions of blow-up of solution to the Cauchy problem for this equation are given.

An Investigation of the Status and Strategy of College Education Resources Sharing in the Big Data Environment and Countermeasures  [PDF]
Luo Li, Junjun Song
Open Journal of Social Sciences (JSS) , 2018, DOI: 10.4236/jss.2018.610015
Abstract: With the application of big data in the field of education, information technology has made it easier to share educational resources. This article studies the current situation of the sharing of educational resources in higher education institutions. First of all, it elaborates on the concept and characteristics of education big data, conducts research on the status quo of college education resources sharing under the big data environment, analyzes the existing problems, and finally provides some suggestions on the sharing of college education resources in the context of big data for current status surveys.

Journal of Applied Mathematics and Physics (JAMP) , 2017, DOI: 10.4236/jamp.2017.59137
In this paper, the existence and uniqueness of the global generalized solution and the global classical solution for the Cauchy problem of the singularly perturbed sixth order Boussinesq type equation are proved.
Bis(dimethyl sulfoxide-κO)bis(mercaptoacetato-κ2O,S)tin(IV)
Li Song
Acta Crystallographica Section E , 2009, DOI: 10.1107/s160053680904361x
Abstract: In the title compound, [Sn(C2H2O2S)2(C2H6OS)2], the mercaptoacetato ligands chelate to SnIV through S and one O atoms. The metal centre is also coordinated by two dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) ligands through the O atom, leading to an overall distorted octahedral coordination environment for the SnIV atom. The molecular adduct lies on a twofold rotation axis.
An Analysis on Chinese Hotel Enterprises’ Outsourcing Strategic Modes and Corresponding Development Conception
Li Song
International Journal of Business and Management , 2009, DOI: 10.5539/ijbm.v3n3p76
Abstract: The present outsourcing management mode of travel hotels has caused attention of the global hotel industry. Though the application of outsourcing modes, we can renew and combine hotels’ structure, making hotels centralize their market superiority and enterprise core competitiveness. This thesis mainly discusses Chinese hotel enterprises’ outsourcing strategic modes and corresponding development conception. Firstly, it analyzes the outsourcing strategy concept and the theory frame; secondly, it expounds hotels’ several outsourcing strategic modes; thirdly, it summarizes the effect and significance of Chinese hotel outsourcing strategic modes. Simultaneously, it also proposes the outsourcing strategic modes’ management and the safeguard countermeasures, and makes the macroscopic summary and the forecast to Chinese hotels’ outsourcing strategy development in future.
The Psychology of Western Independent Tourists and Its Impacts on Chinese Tourism Management
Li Song
Asian Social Science , 2009, DOI: 10.5539/ass.v4n1p35
Abstract: This thesis is concerned with the psychology of western independent tourists and its impacts on Chinese tourism management. First, it discusses the different psychological modes under the different historical and cultural backgrounds between China and the West, including mode of thinking, mode of motivated behavior, mode of religion and ethics, and mode of aesthetic values; then, it makes a specific analysis of the tourism psychology of western independent tourists; finally, it expounds the impacts of western independent tourists’ psychology on several aspects of Chinese tourism management, such as the respective management style of tourism departments, the interdepartmental communication and cooperation, the quality of guide service and the tourism education.
The Innovative Construction of Team Culture in the Hypothesized Organization
Li Song
Asian Social Science , 2009, DOI: 10.5539/ass.v4n6p39
Abstract: Along with the globalization and the technological advancement, more hypothesized organization as well as hypothesized enterprises of more forms will appear. This article mainly analyzes the innovative construction of team culture in the hypothesized organization, and it explores in every detail the construction of team culture from five aspects: the team role transformation in the hypothesized organization’s team culture, the member coordination, the knowledge management, the study efficiency, and the information system optimization, thus putting forward the feasible proposal for the resent hypothesized organization’s improvement and development.
Microstructures and Properties of Recycled Composites – Particle Reinforced Iron Matrix Functionally Graded Materials Fabricated by Centrifugal Casting  [PDF]
Yanpei Song, Shuangxu Bi, Xiuqing Li
Engineering (ENG) , 2010, DOI: 10.4236/eng.2010.25047
Abstract: Microstructures and properties of recycled composites ring parts containing cast tungsten carbide particles (CTCp) in a bainitic matrix fabricated from dead or waste composites roll rings by centrifugal casting after remelting treatment, have been tested using SEM, EDS and XRD analyses as well as mechanical property testers. The test results show that the CTCp surface were partially dissolved into the liquid iron at 1650 ºC during remelting. The undissolved CTCp in the Fe melt moved towards the outer region under the action of the centrifugal force during casting, which caused the formation of outer reinforced region and inner unreinforced region along the radial direction of the parts. SEM observation displays that the undissolved CTCp distribution in the outer region is even, and the volume fraction of them is increased with increasing rotational speed of the mold. Besides, mechanical tests of the parts show that the outer region exhibits superior hardness, and the inner region has sufficient impact toughness; the volume fraction of CTCP influences the mechanical properties. The dissolution-reprecipition of CTCP during centrifugal casting was also discussed.
