Study on the Influence of RMB’s Entry into SDR on the Interest Rate of SDR  [PDF]

Abstract: On October 1, 2016, with the approval of the International Monetary Fund, the RMB officially joined the SDR currency basket, which not only recognized the international status of RMB, but also injected new vitality into the development of the world economy. SDR interest rate is an important part of SDR valuation and pricing. Based on the background of RMB entering the SDR currency basket, this paper divides the study period into three parts to analyse the impact of RMB enter the basket on the SDR interest rate: a complete review period before the RMB included; the IMF announced that it will accept the RMB but not yet; and the RMB is officially “add to the basket”. The results of the study show that RMB’s participation in the SDR basket significantly improves the SDR interest rate level, helps to improve the stability of the SDR interest rate and the representation of the SDR interest rate to the global economy, and is expected to help build a new order in the international monetary system.

Abstract: The most challenging aspect in signal processing is its hardware design. Today we are using multiple signals and each of it is at different frequency. The signal processing unit is a block in which the signal is processed to extract the exact message in the signal and it is mainly used to analyze each and every componentsof a signal. The block which is capable of doing all these things costs much. Thus the design of hardware components necessary to analyze the signal seems to be more difficult hence it needs huge amount of investment. In order to reduce the amount of money invested in the hardware design here in this paper we are presenting a new approach in signal processing called as software defined radio. Here the GNU RADIO acts as a software defined radio software and by using it we had successfully predicted the power, frequency spectrumand its peak amplitude of a speech signal.

Abstract: With the evolution of the communication standards, Software Defined Radio (SDR) is faced with an increasingly important problem to balance more and more complex wireless communication algorithms against relatively limited processing capability of hardware. And, the competition for computing resources exacerbates the problem and increases time-delay of SDR system. This paper presents an integrated optimization method for the real-time performance of SDR on Linux OS (operating system). The method is composed of three parts: real-time scheduling policy which ensures higher priority for SDR tasks, CGROUPS used to manage and redistribute the computing resources, and fine-grade system timer which makes the process preemption more accurate. According to the experiments, the round-trip data transfer latency decreases low enough to meet the requirement for TD-SCDMA via the application of the method.

Abstract: The frequency bands used in mobile communications are allocated according to the type of application. With the need for more channels, the frequency spectrum has become a scarce natural resource. This study shows the results of a proposed modulation using a variation of the autocorrelation of pseudo-random codes to carry information. The work also presents the generation of multiple orthogonal axes to increase the bit rate thus improving the channel efficiency.

Abstract:

Emergent aquatic weeds present in the monocropped fresh water wetland area of Bangladesh create a hazard in land preparation by developing dense stands. A field experiment was conducted at the farmers’ field of two villages namely Mahilara and Kashemabad under Gournadi Upazila of Barisal district, Bangladesh during October 2012 to evaluate the efficacy of Gramoxone 20SL (Paraquat) in controlling emergent aquatic weeds and to find out an appropriate dose of this herbicide. Three doses of Gramoxone 20SL at 1.96 l·ha-1, 2.00 l·ha-1 and 2.04 l·ha-1 were tried with an untreated control. All treatments were laid out in a randomized complete block design and replicated thrice. There were 8 different emergent weed species infesting the field among which the most dominant weed species were Eichhornia crassipes, Pistia stratiotes, Enhydra fluctuans, Monochoria vaginalis, Echinochloa crus-galli. The results revealed that, weed control efficiency was significantly affected by different herbicidal treatments. The treatments, Gramoxone 20SL at 2.00 l·ha-1 and 2.04 l·ha-1 were controlled in all the emergent aquatic weeds more than 85% infesting both the sites. Application of non-

Abstract: The aim of the paper is to build a software based radio capable of demodulating Frequency Modulated signals with the ability to receive upto four stations simultaneously. In addition convolution encoding along with Viterbi decoding is also implemented to aid in error correction capability of digital transmission systems. The initial phase is aimed at software based demodulation of multiple channels of Frequency Modulated signals. The second phase is directed towards the Error correction using convolution encoding with Viterbi decoding for streaming data encountered in digital broadcast systems. Software Radio is a way of designing software very close to the antenna. The basic feature of software radio is that software will define the transmitted waveforms, and software will demodulate the received waveforms. This paper is developed with the help of free software based radio toolkit given by a community named GNU radio. Channel coding schemes need to be used extensively in the case of transmission of digital data over the air or through any other medium. These coding schemes also called FEC (Forward Error Correction) are used in cases where the re-transmission of the data is not feasible or possible. The channel coding schemes comes to the rescue in such cases where redundant data are sent over the transmission medium along with the message. In the receiver side, this channel coded signal is decoded to get back the original data even if the channel coded signal undergoes some interference from the noise in the transmission medium. Though the channel coding has a downside of requirement to transmit additional data over the transmission medium, the advantages offered by error detection and correction mechanisms to the receiver outweighs the disadvantage of additional data transfer rate and bandwidth requirements.

Abstract: The Analog-to-Digital-Converter (ADC) constitutes a necessary component for the implementation of Software – Defined- Radio (SDR) receiver. In ADC, sampling performance is limited by a clock. The sampling inserts the jitter noise, which degrades the performance of the receiver. Continuous–Time (CT) Delta–Sigma (ΔΣ) modulators arecapable of suppressing this noise but the impact of clock jitter at the output of the Digital– to–Analog Converter (DAC) in the feedback path of the modulator should be taken into account. This paper presents an analytical approach for analyzing jitter in SDR receivers when a CT–ΔΣ modulator is utilized for Analog–to–Digital Conversion (ADC).

Area Efficient & Cost Effective Pulse Shaping Filter for Software Radios

Abstract: In this paper area efficient and cost effective techniques for design of pulse shaping filter have beenpresented to improve the computational and implementation complexity. Pulse shaping filters have beendesigned and implemented by using Raised cosine filter, Nyquist filter and optimized half band filters forsoftware defined radio (SDR) based wireless applications. The performance of different filters is comparedin terms of BER and hardware requirements. The results show that the BER performance of the optimizeddesigns is almost identical to the Raised cosine filter with significant reduction in hardware requirements.The hardware saving of 60% to 90% can be achieved by replacing the Raised cosine filter with proposedfilters to provide cost effective solution for wireless communication applications.
