Angiomatose Bacilar em Doente Imunocompetente: A Propósito de um Caso Clínico
Faria,Ana Luísa; Carvalho,Ricardo; Lima,Nuno; Castanheira,Rui;
Arquivos de Medicina , 2008,
Abstract: bacillary angiomatosis is a recently described disease characterized by vascular lesions of skin, viscera or both. although primarily associated with human immunodeficiency virus (hiv) infection, bacillary angiomatosis has been described in non-hiv immunosuppressed and immunocompetent patients as well. bartonella have been found to be responsible for bacillary angiomatosis and most cases respond readily to antimicrobial therapy. this is a clinic case of an immunocompetent patient with a history of cat contact who presented with many widespread cutaneous lesions. abdominal ct revealed intraabdominal lymphadenopathies, histopathology of cutaneous biopsy only revealed mononuclear infiltrate and dna analysis by pcr (polimerase-chain-reaction) for bartonell spp. in cutaneous biopsy and in blood were positive. the patient was treated with doxycycline for three months, with complete resolution.

Revista Brasileira de Ortopedia , 2013,
Abstract: Posterior sternoclavicular dislocation is a rare traumatic injury that presents a potential risk of injury to mediastinal structures. The diagnosis is fundamentally clinical and treatment is done on an emergency basis. The authors report the clinical case of a young judo athlete with post-traumatic medial epiphyseal fracture-detachment, with posterior displacement (lesion equivalent to posterior sternoclavicular dislocation at pediatric ages). He underwent open reduction and ligament repair by means of a mini-anchor.The radiological and clinical outcome was excellent, and the athlete returned to his sports activity without limitations. We discuss the particular features of this pathological condition, along with the different therapeutic approaches and their complications

Open Journal of Social Sciences (JSS) , 2015, DOI: 10.4236/jss.2015.33022
Abstract: Disaster science is an academic field that explores mechanisms of disasters, investigates economic, social, and environmental impact of disasters, and develops systems for disaster prevention, mitigation, and restoration. After the 2011 Great East Japan (Tohoku) earthquake and tsunami disaster, reduction and avoidance of potential losses from disasters have received much attention. The purpose of this article is to introduce a new research field in disaster science called disaster cognitive psychological science. First, we define disasters in disaster science. Second, disaster cognitive psychological science is introduced. The scopes of disaster cognitive psychological science are 1) to clarify human mental processes and behaviors in any situation related to disasters such as evacuation behavior, risk perception, and decision making, and 2) to develop and evaluate new systems for disaster prevention, mitigation, and restoration such as education and training programs for disaster prevention. Finally, disaster cognitive psychological science research has only just begun. We shall continue our research related to disaster cognitive psychological science.

Journal of Human Resource and Sustainability Studies (JHRSS) , 2018, DOI: 10.4236/jhrss.2018.61023
Abstract: After the implementation of information system will bring a series of changes to the enterprise, the staff’s work content and business processes will also change. Based on the theory of job embeddedness and social network, this study focuses on relationship between employee’s behavior and job performance after the implementation of information system. The job embeddedness will affect the employee performance. And the implementation of information system will bring more information exchange among employees, it will form lots of networks, and staff embedded in relationship between these networks will affect the work performance. Besides, there are three dimensions of job embeddedness: job connection, job fit and job sacrifice. Job performance is divided into two dimensions: task performance and relationship performance. The purpose of this paper is to study the relationship between job embeddedness and job performance, and to explore the regulate effect of relationship embeddedness between job embeddedness and job performance.

American Journal of Industrial and Business Management (AJIBM) , 2018, DOI: 10.4236/ajibm.2018.85082
Abstract: This paper considers the influence of corporate strategic positioning on the firm’s accounting conservatism from the perspective of a company’s deviation from the industry’s conventional strategy, and selects China’s A stock market company as an initial research sample for empirical analysis from 2000 to 2016. Research shows that the greater the company’s strategic differences, the lower the accounting conservatism. Further studies have found that the negative correlation between corporate strategic differences and accounting conservatism is even more pronounced in private enterprises. In addition, from the perspective of the intensity of industry rules, this paper compares the degree of strategic deviance between state-owned enterprises and private enterprises, the results show that state-owned enterprises are subject to stronger constraints and the degree of strategic differences will be lower. This article focuses on the perspective of corporate strategic deviance and examines the role of non-accounting information in corporate accounting practices, and compares the strategic differences between state-owned enterprises and private enterprises from the perspective of the strength of industry constraints, which provides an effective means for the company’s external stakeholders, including creditors and investors, to use the company’s strategic information, and enriches the research on the reform of China’s property rights system.

Open Journal of Business and Management (OJBM) , 2017, DOI: 10.4236/ojbm.2017.54055
Abstract:
We study the impact of directors with foreign experience on executive Compensation. Using a data set from Chinese listed companies, we find out that executive compensation tends to be higher in companies with directors that have foreign experience. To evaluate this change in executive compensation, we further explore the impact of director with oversea background on pay performance link in these companies, which is an indicator of corporate governance and compensation management. Result shows that the impact of directors with foreign experience depends on the equity nature of the company.
Diversity of Interaction Solutions to the (2 + 1)-Dimensional Sawada-Kotera Equation  [PDF]
Rui Hu
Journal of Applied Mathematics and Physics (JAMP) , 2018, DOI: 10.4236/jamp.2018.68145
Abstract: In this paper, based on Hirota bilinear form, we aim to show the diversity of interaction solutions to the (2 + 1)-dimensional Sawada-Kotera (SK) equation. By introducing an arbitrary differentiable function in assumption form, we can obtain abundant interaction solutions which can provide the possibility for exploring the interactions between lump waves and other kinds of waves. By choosing some particular functions and values of the involved parameters, we give four illustrative examples of the resulting solutions, and explore some novel interaction behaviors in (2 + 1)-dimensional SK equation.
