Efficient and selective iodination of phenols promoted by iodine and hydrogen peroxide in water
Gallo, Rafael D. C.;Gebara, Karimi S.;Muzzi, Rozanna M.;Raminelli, Cristiano;
Journal of the Brazilian Chemical Society , 2010, DOI: 10.1590/S0103-50532010000400026
Abstract: a simple and selective reaction for the preparation of iodinated phenols was developed and phenol derivatives containing electron withdrawing groups were iodinated in very good yields under relatively mild conditions.
Gallo, Rafael D. C.;Rezende, Hellenicy V.;Muzzi, Rozanna M.;Raminelli, Cristiano;
Química Nova , 2009, DOI: 10.1590/S0100-40422009000900037
Abstract: in this paper we gathered articles concerning insertion reactions of arynes, exclusively generated from 2-(trimethylsilyl)aryl triflates in the presence of fluoride ions, in substrates bearing nucleophilic and electrophilic portions separated by sigma bonds. accordingly, we stand out the great importance and versatility of such transformations in the preparation of highly functionalized aromatic systems, which are hardly synthesized in just one step for other methods.
Silylaryl triflates in the formation of arynes with application in the preparation of N,N-diarylamino acid derivatives
Danilo Y. Albuquerque,Irlon M. Ferreira,Cristiano Raminelli
Orbital : the Electronic Journal of Chemistry , 2012,
Abstract: Through this work we are developing our research involving the formation of arynes from 2-(trimethylsilyl)aryl triflates, under relatively mild reaction conditions. Thus, esters of amino acids are being subjected to the reaction with 2-(trimethylsilyl)aryl triflates, using cesium fluoride in acetonitrile at 80oC for 24 h, resulting in the formation of N,N-diarylamino acid derivatives, important chiral intermediates in the construction of peptides and drugs.
Bioactive derivatives obtained from lecanoric acid, a constituent of the lichen Parmotrema tinctorum (Nyl.) Hale (Parmeliaceae)
Gomes, Alcir Teixeira;Honda, Neli K.;Roese, Fernanda Mesquita;Muzzi, Rozanna M.;Marques, Maria Rita;
Revista Brasileira de Farmacognosia , 2002, DOI: 10.1590/S0102-695X2002000300036
Abstract: with the aim of obtaining new compounds with potential antifungal activity, lecanoric acid, a chemical constituent of the lichen parmotrema tinctorum and its derivatives prepared from structural modification were tested against the fungus cladosporium sphaerospermum, by employing the bioautographic method. activity of the derivatives ranged from 10- to 1-μg concentrations. results demonstrated this series of compounds to have potent fungitoxic activity.
Ilustra??o e império colonial
Raminelli, Ronald;
História (S?o Paulo) , 2012, DOI: 10.1590/S0101-90742012000200005
Abstract: between 1780 and 1808, the main reflections on the colonial portuguese empire came from settlers and reinois living in brazil. the portuguese-brazilian prospect was linked to both training at the university of coimbra and living experience in portuguese america. thinking about the empire, at this juncture, used to be associated to examine the centrality of lisbon and brazil, to evaluate the links between the kingdom, the brazilian lands and other possessions in africa. slowly, for those illustrated, brazil became a center for portuguese domains in angola and mozambique. indeed, long before the portuguese court arrived in americ, ita has gained centrality in the production of written and visual subjects of his majesty.
Raminelli, Ronald;
História, Ciências, Saúde-Manguinhos , 2001, DOI: 10.1590/S0104-59702001000500010
Abstract: ferreira's philosophical journey generated a large amount of iconographic material. freire and codina, the expedition artists, created images that intended to represent taxonomic categories for the classification of indian groups, taking into consideration their physical features, as well as their moral and political constitution. this type of taxonomy is related to both seventeenth century scientific rules and the colonial perspective built up during pombal times.
Nobreza indígena da Nova Espanha: alian?as e conquistas
Raminelli, Ronald;
Tempo , 2009, DOI: 10.1590/S1413-77042009000200006
Abstract: the alliances between the castilians and the indian chiefs brought victories to the former, and the preservation of the estates to the latter. in order to render the administration of the new spain feasible, the crown acknowledged the aristocratic values and the hereditary government of the indians in force before the conquerors had arrived. although that strategy was applied during the first decades, the colonial administrators deposed the ancient chiefs along time, and invested new chiefs who were more in line with the interests of the hispanic monarchy.

Ilustra o e império colonial Ilustration and colonial empire
Ronald Raminelli
Between 1780 and 1808, the main reflections on the colonial Portuguese empire came from settlers and reinois living in Brazil.
Raminelli Ronald
História, Ciências, Saúde-Manguinhos , 2001,
Abstract: A Viagem Filosófica produziu um vasto material iconográfico.
