Perfil da aptid?o física dos praticantes de Le Parkour
Leite, Neiva;Aguiar Junior, Rossine Pinto de;Cieslak, Fabrício;Ishiyama, Mary;Milano, Gerusa Eisfeld;Stefanello, Joice Mara Facco;
Revista Brasileira de Medicina do Esporte , 2011, DOI: 10.1590/S1517-86922011000300010
Abstract: the aim of this study was to evaluate physical fitness of le parkour practitioners in the city of curitiba-pr. 13 male subjects (19.46 ± 2.82 years) who have been practicing the activity for more than six months participated in the study. anthropometry and tests of physical fitness (back-and-forth 20-meter running, 1-minute abdominal, flexion and extension of the arms, vertical and horizontal push, sit-and-reach test and wingate) were performed. the results were analyzed using descriptive statistics (mean and standard deviation) and are classified based on the reference tables for each test. after evaluating the vo2max, 53.85% of the practitioners were considered "low fitness" and 46.15% presented adequate cardiorespiratory fitness. regarding strength /abdominal resistance, 46.15% of subjects were classified as "low fitness" and 53.85% as "recommended range". the peak power and average power were considered as "regular" in all subjects. the fatigue index was greater than or equal in 54% of subjects. flexibility was assessed as "low fitness" in 69.23% of the sample. assessment of strength / endurance of upper limbs presented 84.62% in the "recommended range". the results from this study suggest that le parkour, as an acyclic activity with emphasis on jumping and activities of strength in arms, led best values on tests of dynamic horizontal, vertical and strength of upper limbs. meanwhile the other variables were below average, which should be considered in the prescription of exercises and the monitoring of individuals during the activity's practice. further studies with larger samples and training control le parkour practitioners are suggested.

Aplicaciones de proteómica en ecología y evolución
A. Cieslak,I. Ribera
Ecosistemas , 2009,
Global existence vs. blowup for the one dimensional quasilinear Smoluchowski-Poisson system
Tomasz Cieslak,Philippe Laurencot
Mathematics , 2010,
Abstract: We prove that, unlike in several space dimensions, there is no critical (nonlinear) diffusion coefficient for which solutions to the one dimensional quasilinear Smoluchowski-Poisson equation with small mass exist globally while finite time blowup could occur for solutions with large mass.
A theorem on measures in dimension 2 and applications to vortex sheets
Tomasz Cieslak,Marta Szumanska
Mathematics , 2013,
Abstract: We find conditions under which measures belong to . Next we show that measures generated by Prandtl, Kaden as well as Pullin spirals, objects considered by physicists as incompressible flows generating vorticity, satisfy assumptions of our theorem, thus they are (locally) elements of . Moreover, as a by-product, we prove an embedding of the space of Morrey type measures in .
Weight and age at puberty and their correlations with morphometric measurements in crossbred breed Suffolk ewe lambs
Ferra, Janine de Campos;Cieslak, Silvia;Sartori Filho, Roberto;McManus, Connie;Martins, Carlos Frederico;Sereno, José Robson Bezerra;
Revista Brasileira de Zootecnia , 2010, DOI: 10.1590/S1516-35982010000100018
Abstract: the objective of this study was to identify and to correlate parameters that characterize puberty and estimate the age and weight of suffolk ewe lambs in mato grosso do sul. this study was carried out with twenty-two suffolk ewe lambs for 256 days. blood samples were collected from the jugular vein and centrifugated and the plasma were stored at -20°c until analysis of progesterone (p4) concentration by radioimmunoassay (ria). the morphometric measurements included: head length and width, body length, elbow height, chest perimeter, back-sternal diameter, croup length, width and height, cannon bone perimeter and shoulder and hip width, using a tape. the animals became pubertal when the plasma progesterone concentration was >1.0 ng/ml, at 34.1 ± 5.2 kg and 39.5 ± 8.5 weeks of age. meanwhile, the lambs that did not reach puberty (37.7 ± 11.4 weeks of age) were lighter. the morphometric measurements has medium to low correlations with age and weight at puberty.
Reflex?es sobre a interpreta??o e a sistematiza??o da literatura
Almeida, Leonardo Pinto de;
Fractal : Revista de Psicologia , 2008, DOI: 10.1590/S1984-02922008000200021
Abstract: we analyze the capture of the literary object made by culture and by specialized critical. we pointed the interpretation and the systematization is a reactionary way of use of literature, helping to restrict the freedom excited for literary experience. we conclude that, the institutional culture unifies and fits the literary compositions, the commerce presents a pasteurizer role of the literary trespass and a part of literary critique unpowered the workmanship. but we thought that exist many critique ways that run away to this unpowerment character of the workmanship, making that to be what it is: an intense space of experimentation.
A fun??o-autor: examinando o papel do nome do autor na trama discursiva
Almeida, Leonardo Pinto de;
Fractal : Revista de Psicologia , 2008, DOI: 10.1590/S1984-02922008000100021
Abstract: from the foucault, brunn and chartier's thoughts, we analyze the emergency of the modern author. in relation to history, foucault shows as the authorial figure was invented through a tram of events that goes of the responsabilization of the discourse's agent to the function of reference. he indicates the characteristics of the name of the author, designating that it has for function to delimit, to classify and to organize the universe of the discourses. this name is one of the functional principles that conduct our relation with knowing and with literature on behalf of a power and of an authority.
