Abstract: Desde hace aproximadamente dos décadas, en la comunidad de San Juan Zitlaltepec, en el Estado de México, se empezaron a instalar talleres maquiladores de confección de prendas de vestir. A la fecha, el número de estos talleres se ha incrementado, generando una dinámica social importante para la comunidad. En este escenario, la mujer es la principal mano de obra de las maquilas, logrando que los patrones y prácticas familiares se hayan visto reconfigurados.

Abstract: the kinetics of the pyrolysis of used automovile tires cars has been investigated by thermogravimetry under dynamic and quasi-isothermal conditions using heating rates from 1 to 40 °c/min in a wide temperature range (20 to 1000°c) on inert ambient (nitrogen). the degradation process starts at 152 ±16°c and ends at 487±32°c. two simulation models, serial and parallel, were used. the best results were found with the three reactions parallel model. it is demosntarted that heating rate has an important effect over the pyrolysis process and when increased it shifts the decomposition zone to higher temperatures. the overall weight loss is constant (67 wt%) and an important effect of the particle size and of the sample size on the pyrolysis kinetics was found.

Abstract: La cinética de pirólisis de llantas usadas para automóvil de pasajeros ha sido investigada por termogravimetría bajo condiciones dinámicas y cuasi-isotérmicas usando velocidades de calentamiento desde 1 hasta 40°C/min, en un amplio intervalo de temperatura (20 a 1000°C) en ambiente inerte (nitrógeno). El proceso de degradación comienza a 152 ± 16°C y termina a 487 ± 32°C. Se utilizaron dos modelos de simulación en serie y paralelo, se encontraron los mejores resultados con el modelo de tres reacciones en paralelo. Se demostró que la velocidad de calentamiento tiene un efecto significativo sobre los procesos de pirólisis y que al aumentar desplaza la zona de descomposición hacia mayores temperaturas. La pérdida de peso global es constante (67 %peso) y se encontró un efecto importante del tama o de partícula y el peso de muestra sobre la cinética de pirólisis. Optimización del Proceso de Remoción de Metales Pesados de Agua Residual de la Industria Galvánica por Precipitación Química

Abstract: the aim of this research was to obtain the optimum conditions to remove heavy metals from wastewaters of the galvanic industry, which contain chromium (435 mg/l), zinc (720 mg/l), iron (168 mg/l) and nickel (24 mg/l). the treatment was made by chemical precipitation using caustic soda to set ph and ferric chloride like coagulant aid in jar test. the responses to optimize are: flocculation time, stirring speed and coagulant dose. the optimum conditions to remove heavy metals from synthetic wastewater was, flocculation time: 7 minutes, stirring speed: 18 rpm, coagulant dose: 11.8 ml and flocculation time: 9.5 minutes,stirring speed: 30 rpm, coagulant dose: 5.2 ml for raw wastewater. the treatment conditions were different for the raw wastewater because the raw wastewater contains other pollutants which over charge the colloidal surface and affects the flocculation processes

Abstract: this paper presents a study on the effects of some variables on the adsorption process of heavy metal ions in polluted wastewaters. the effects of ph, ion concentration, biomass concentration and pre-treatment of the biomass on the biosorption process of pb2+, cd2+ y cr3+ in artificial solutions using non-living saccharomyces cerevisiae were evaluated. it was observed that ph, biomass concentration and biomass pretreatment had a significant effect on the biosorption of pb2+. for the adsorption of cr3+ the only important factors were ph and concentration biomass, while for cd2+ biosorption the effects of biomass concentration, ph and the presence of co-ions in the solution were significant.

Abstract: Se han estudiado los efectos de algunas variables involucradas en el proceso de adsorción de iones de metales pesados en aguas de descarga contaminadas. Se evaluaron los efectos de las variables pH, concentración de iones, presencia de electrólitos, concentración y tratamiento de biomasa sobre la biosorción de iones Pb2+, Cd2+ y Cr3+ en soluciones mediante el uso de Saccharomyces cerevisiae no-viva. El pH, la concentración de biomasa y el tratamiento previo tuvieron un efecto significativo sobre la biosorción de Pb2+. Para la biosorción del Cr3+ solo son significativos los efectos del pH y la concentración de biomasa, mientras que para la biosorción del Cd2+ son significativos los efectos de la concentración de biomasa, el pH y la presencia de todos los co-iones presentes en solución. Abstract: Se han estudiado las condiciones óptimas requeridas para remover metales pesados del agua residual de una industria galvánica, que contiene cromo (435 mg/L), zinc (720 mg/L), hierro (168 mg/L) y níquel (24 mg/L). Se usó agua preparada en el laboratorio (agua sintética) y agua de la industria misma (agua cruda). El tratamiento se hizo mediante precipitación química, usando sosa para ajustar el pH y cloruro férrico como aditivo coagulante en un equipo de prueba de jarras. Las condiciones óptimas encontradas usando el agua sintética fueron: 7 minutos para el tiempo de floculación, 18 rpm para la velocidad de agitación y 11.8 mL para la dosis de coagulante. Para el agua cruda fueron: 9.5 minutos para el tiempo de floculación, 30 rpm para la velocidad de agitación y 5.2 mL para la dosis de coagulante. Abstract:

The endemic silverside fish C. humboldtianum is of great ichtyologycal, economical and cultural relevance in central Mexico and it has been suggested that it is among a group of other “peces blancos”, the most ancestral species. Here we characterized a set of 26 microsatellite loci from the species in order to further assess population and phylogeographic issues that aid in evaluating their highly impacted populations. From 58 primer pairs tested on specimens from Villa Victoria dam (Rio Balsas Basin), 26 loci positively amplified on the species and cross-primed on specimens of the closely related and threatened Poblana alchichica, C. promelas and C. riojai. Loci resolved medium and high genetic variation (mean NA = 14.3, SD = 9.38; mean HO & HE = 0.47, SD = 0.32 and 0.58, SD = 0.32, respectively) and it is expected that these polymorphic loci are also useful in studing threatened atherinopsid species.

Abstract:
Mycoplasma mycoides subsp. capri is the causative agent of severe and acute respiratory problems in goats, which spreads rapidly and represents high mortality. The serological profile of the goat population, from nine regions in seven states of Mexico, was screened by the Complement Fixation test (CF) in sera from asymptomatic goats and animals with mild respiratory symptoms. Sera and nasal swabs of 827 goats were collected for the isolation of the organism. An antiserum was prepared against a previously isolated field strain of Mycoplasma mycoides subsp. capri. CF Antibody titers were associated with the results of the isolates to determine the cutoff point. The CF was considered as positive if its result was ≥1/16. The CF registered 251 positive goats (30.35%) and 576 (69.65%) negative; the test showed high sensitivity (93.33%) and specificity (72.27%). In the specific case of diagnosis for mycoplasmosis associated with respiratory problems in goats, the CF proved to be a good diagnosis test, this study determined that 30% of the goat population showed antibody titers against Mycoplasma mycoides subsp. capri and revealed those animals who have had contact with this microorganism during their lives regardless of the presence or absence of respiratory symptoms.

Abstract: this paper tries to continue the way started by a previous one about didactics of our own disciplines in the polimodal level, where we proposed to read a theatrical play about the philosopher baruch spinoza and analyze different aspects of it from both philosophy and literature. in this opportunity, we would like to show how it is possible to work with a philosophical text, socrates'apology, in both disciplinary spaces. though many teachers use non traditional resources (literary texts, comics, movies, news' articles...) in the teaching of philosophy, usually it's very hard to find bibliography which describes systematically how the experience could be concreted. besides the philosophical questions that we could distinguish in apology (philosophy's concept, philosophical method, pedagogic conception, ethical values…), from perspective of literature this text allows to undertake its teaching from a present theoretical frame, the discourse's theory. while we put in evidence the connections that exist between different discourse practices (artistic and non artistic) of one society and the differences between reality and discourse, the student will have the possibility of thinking about fallacy of some disciplinary prejudices that troubled his access to literary/philosophical texts and will open his reading of world as a big cultural text.
