Indian Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biological Research , 2013,
Abstract: Cigarette smoking is the serious health problems and most important avoidable cause of death in world. Worldwide more than 8 million people currently die each year from smoking half of them before of the age of 60. Every cigarette reduces the life span by about 5 minutes. Smoke contains oxidising agents and the oxidation reactions can produce free radicals. In turn, these radicals can start chain reactions that damage cells. In the present study 40 male subjects were divided into four different groups and their lipid profile have been estimated by various tests i.e. Cholesterol, Triglyceride, HDL-C, LDL-C, VLDL-C. It was observed that in cigarette smokers HDL-C level decreased and cholesterol, triglyceride, LDL-C, VLDL-C level increased as compared to the control i.e. non- cigarette smokers. In case of MDA and Antioxidant enzymes test, the value of MDA increases and antioxidant enzymes decreases in cigarette smokers as compared to the control i.e. non- cigarette smokers. The variation in the level of lipid profile and antioxidant enzymes from normal values causes several diseases such as Lung cancer, other cancers, heart disease, and stroke and has numerous immediate health effects on the brain and on the respiratory, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, immune systems.
Thermal balloon endometrial ablation in dysfunctional uterine bleeding

Journal of Gynecological Endoscopy and Surgery , 2009,
Abstract: Introduction: Dysfunctional uterine bleeding (DUB) affects a large number of women in the reproductive and perimenopausal age group. It significantly impairs the quality of life in otherwise healthy women. There are many different techniques for the conservative management of DUB. Medical management, LNG-IUD, hysteroscopic resection and various global ablation techniques. Materials and Methods: We did a retrospective analysis of 156 women with dysfunctional uterine bleeding who had completed childbearing and who underwent uterine balloon ablation therapy using the Thermachoice device. Majority of the women (72%) were done using short general anesthesia while in the others sedation or local anesthesia was used. Results: 49% women had amenorrhea while 41 % had oligomenorhoea or eumenorrhoea. 90% were satisfied with the procedure. There were no major complications during this study. Conclusions: Thermal balloon endometrial ablation is a simple, safe and effective technique for the permanent treatment of DUB in well selected cases.
Performance quantification of Wireless Sensor Networks by implementing ZRP

Abstract: sensor network is composed of a largenumber of autonomous sensor nodes, which are denselydeployed in the area of interest i.e either inside thephenomenon or very close to it. Routing is an importantoperation, being the foundation of data exchangingbetween wireless devices.Zone Routing Protocol was thefirst hybrid routing protocol with both a proactive and areactive routing component. ZRP was proposed to reducethe control overhead of proactive routing protocols anddecrease the latency caused by route discovery in reactiverouting protocols. ZRP defines a zone around each nodeconsisting of the numbers of neighbourhood. During myresearch work, I applied the hybrid routing protocol inwireless sensors and measure the correspondingperformance of the network in terms of overhead, delayand throughput.[10]
DATABASE SECURITY IN WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORK THROUGH PGP AND ID3*

International Journal of Engineering Science and Technology , 2012,
Abstract: In the new era of this century, data is sent and receive in electronic form i.e. E-mail. So the risk of data hack and loss is increased. So for the security of data is the main requirement of any organization. This paper propose an idea of using wireless sensor network for the security of database. For this purpose two algorithms are used PGP(Pretty Good Privacy algorithm) and ID3(Iterative Dichotomiser 3 algorithm) which will help for security as well as speed of data.
Extended Role Based Access Control with Blob Service on Cloud

Computer Science , 2013,
Abstract: Role-based access control (RBAC) models have generated a great interest in the security community as a powerful and generalized approach to security management and ability to model organizational structure and their capability to reduce administrative expenses. In this paper, we highlight the drawbacks of latest developed RBAC models in terms of access control and authorization and later provide a more viable extended-RBAC model, which enhances and extends its powers to make any system more secure by adding valuable constraints. Later the Blobs are stored on cloud server which is then accessed by the end users via this Extended RBAC model.
Parents' Experiences Discussing Pediatric Vaccination with Healthcare Providers: A Survey of Canadian Naturopathic Patients

Abstract: Background Parents who choose to selectively vaccinate or avoid vaccination for their children may do so at risk of compromising relations with their family physician or pediatrician. Groups that are associated with reduced rates of pedicatic vaccination, such as parents who access naturopathic care, may be particularly vulnerable to this issue. Methodology/Principal Findings In March through September 2010, we administered a 26-item cross-sectional survey to 129 adult patients, all of whom were parents with children ≤16 years of age, presenting for naturopathic care in Ontario, Canada. Ninety-five parents completed the survey (response rate 74%), and only 50.5% (48 of 95) reported that their children had received all recommended vaccines. Most parents (50.5%; 48 of 95) reported feeling pressure to vaccinate from their allopathic physician and, of those who discussed vaccination with their physician, 25.9% (21 of 81) were less comfortable continuing care as a result. Five percent (4 of 81) of respondents were advised by their physician that their children would be refused care if they decided against vaccination. In our adjusted generalized linear model, feeling pressure to vaccinate (odds ratio [OR] = 3.07; 95% confidence interval [CI] = 1.14 to 8.26) or endorsing a naturopathic physician as their most trusted source of information regarding vaccination (OR = 3.57; 95% CI = 1.22 to 10.44) were associated with greater odds of having a partially vaccinated or unvaccinated child. The majority (69.6%; 32 of 46) of parent's with partially vaccinated or unvaccinated children reported a willingness to re-consider this decision. Conclusions/Significance Use of naturopathic care should be explored among parents in order to identify this high-risk group and engage them in discussion regarding pediatric vaccination to encourage evidence-based, shared decision making. Physicians should ensure that discussions regarding vaccination are respectful, even if parents are determined not to vaccinate their children.

International Journal of Computers & Technology , 2012,
Abstract: In this paper we describe here the diagnosis the dynamic topology in a faulty environment. In this paper we have optimize that type of network in which less nodes are used to reach source to destination so that data loss are reduced. we have compare the data loss after optimize the new path to reach the source to destination. In dynamic topology nodes are free to move randomly. Mobile stations from an arbitrary topology.

Journal of Gynecological Endoscopy and Surgery , 2009,
Abstract: Background: There is enough evidence in the literature to support that removal of septum improves pregnancy rates in women with bad obstetric history. However, its role in patients with otherwise unexplained infertility is still not clear due to paucity of enough evidence. Objective: To assess reproductive performance in women with septate uterus and otherwise unexplained infertility after hysteroscopic metroplasty. Materials and Methods: 72 women with septate uterus and otherwise unexplained primary infertility were included in the study. All these women underwent hysteroscopic septal resection. Reproductive performance of these women within one year of surgery was studied and analysed. Result: 33 women (45.83%) conceived within one year of surgery. Only 4 women (12%) had spontaneous abortions and only 5 (15%) had preterm delivery. Conclusion: Hysteroscopic metroplasty in women with septate uterus significantly improves the reproductive performance.
