Controle em pós-colheita das podrid?es da manga 'bourbon', conservada em camara fria
Sampaio, V.R.;
Anais da Escola Superior de Agricultura Luiz de Queiroz , 1983, DOI: 10.1590/S0071-12761983000100028
Abstract: aiming for 'bourbon' mangoes cold storage, the fruits were submited to the following post-harvest treatments: 1) control, 2) immersion during 10' in water at 55°c, 3) immersion during 5' in benomyl (0,025 a.i.) solution at 50oc, 4) immersion during 5' in benomyl (0,050 a.i.) solution at 50°c, 5) immersion during 5' in benomyl (0,025 a.i.) solution at 55oc, and 6) immersion during 5' in benomyl (0,050 a.i.) solution at 55 c. all treatments except the control one, were effective on antracnose rot control. the soft rot was responsable for 44, 36, 20, 20, 4and 8% of rotted mangoes from the first to the sixth treatments respectively. the conclusion was that the higher temperature, plus benomyl were the best post-harvest treatments for cold storage 'bourbon' mangoes.
Poda em uvaieira (Eugenia uvalha CAMB.)
Sampaio, V.R.;
Anais da Escola Superior de Agricultura Luiz de Queiroz , 1989, DOI: 10.1590/S0071-12761989000100006
Abstract: four-year old uvalha trees were pruned in august, 1984. three treatments were performed: a) control-no pruning, b) pruning of twigs up to 5mm thick and c) pruning of twigs up to 10mm thick. average production per tree, for that same year, was the following for each treatment: 4.118 kg (control); 0.860 kg (light pruning); 0.230 kg (severe pruning). in that way, the types of pruning performed showed to be a bad practice to the production of uvalha trees. these results indicate that pruning as performed is not recommended.
Efeitos de anelamentos, filtros e enovelamento do sistema radicular no início de desenvolvimento de pereira, cv. Seleta
Sampaio, V.R.;
Anais da Escola Superior de Agricultura Luiz de Queiroz , 1990, DOI: 10.1590/S0071-12761990000100005
Abstract: vegetative growth and first production of pear cv. seleta were observed when submitted to various treatments: a) plants from cuttings were submitted to various ringing treatments after planting b) plants from cuttings having the root system twisted and c) plants double grafted in 'le conte' rootstock, with 'garber' and 'kieffer' as interstocks. after 5.5 years from planting of the 10 treatments in the field the conclusions were: 1) ringing and interstocks treatments did not interfere in the pear vegetative growth, 2) twisted root systems plants had normal growth development after planting in the field and 3) pear plants had their first production with the same age, independently of the treatments.
Propaga??o por enxertia do sabarazeiro (Myrciaria jáboticába berg)
Sampaio, V.R.;
Anais da Escola Superior de Agricultura Luiz de Queiroz , 1984, DOI: 10.1590/S0071-12761984000100007
Abstract: two observations were done searching for jaboticaba trees (myrciaria jaboticata berg) propagation by grafting methods. when grafting was tried on ponhema (myrciaria cauliflora berg) seedlings, during summer season, 30.5% of takes were observed. approach grafting on jaboticaba seedlings, during fall - winter seasons, results in 80% of sucess.
Efeitos de filtros de Poncirus trifoliata e de alturas de enxertia na laranjeira valencia enxertada em lim?o-cravo
Sampaio, V.R.;
Scientia Agricola , 1993, DOI: 10.1590/S0103-90161993000300007
Abstract: effects of poncirus trifoliata interstocks (5-10-20 cm) and budding bights (15-25-35 cm) were studied for valencia orange on rangpur ume rootstock. the trial, carried out from 1984 to 1992, led to the following conclusions: 1) insertion of poncirus trifoliata interstocks resulted in reduction of plant size, production precocity and yield; 2) vegetative development and yield of valencia orange plants were not affected by different budding highs and by poncirus trifoliata interstock extension.
Comportamento da laranjeira Piralima sobre Poncirus trifoliata com varia??es na altura de enxertia
Sampaio, V.R.;
Scientia Agricola , 1994, DOI: 10.1590/S0103-90161994000100011
Abstract: the combination poncirus trifoliata x piralima acidless orange was studied as a function of the budding height, from zero to forty centimeters. after six and half years of evaluations the results led to the following conclusions: 1) variation in the budding height affected the plant global development: the higher was the budding height, the more intense was the poncirus trifoliata dwarf effect. 2) variation in budding height did not affect orange yield during the first three commercial harvests. difference occurred in the fourth harvest, between the extreme treatments, with larger yields for plants budded near to the soil. 3) poncirus trifoliata induced dwarf characteristics to 'piralima' stock as well as regular and good yield along the years, and the fruits were classified as high grade. poncirus trifoliata showed to be an interesting rootstock for the cultivar piralima.
Analysis of a passive control of a chain under wide-band random excitation by nonlinear energy sinks using generalized orthogonal decompositions
Bellizzi S.,Sampaio R.
MATEC Web of Conferences , 2012, DOI: 10.1051/matecconf/20120105001
Abstract: The objective of this paper is to show how the generalized orthogonal decomposition named smooth decomposition can be used to analyze the energy pumping phenomenon in the context of vibration reduction under wide-band random excitation.
Characterization of the occupied shells by the hermit crab Clibanarius vittatus (Decapoda, Diogenidae) at Baixio Mirim tideflat, Guaratuba Bay, southern Brazil
Sampaio, Sara R.;Masunari, Setuko;
Anais da Academia Brasileira de Ciências , 2010, DOI: 10.1590/S0001-37652010000400005
Abstract: a characterization of the occupied shells by the hermit crab clibanarius vittatus was carried out. hermit crabs were collected in the intertidal zone, during the low spring tide monthly from april 2005 to march 2006. they were sexed and their cephalothoracic shield length (cl) was measured. shells were identified, dried, weighed and the aperture length (al) and width (aw) were measured. 1187 crabs were collected (949 males, 216 females and 22 intersexes), which occupied 12 species of gastropod shells. stramonita haemastoma, olivancillaria urceus and dorsanum moniliferum made up 96.55% of the total shell species. male hermit crabs attained significantly larger sizes than females; therefore, males occupied a wider spectrum of shells in size and weight. a stronger correlation ratio was obtained between cl and aw of s. haemastoma. last whorl with a rounded shape and a spacious inner area is a common feature of all shell species most frequently occupied by this hermit crab where it occurs. the successful establishment of c. vittatus at baixio mirim is mainly due to the appropriately shaped and wide range of size of s. haemastoma shells that were most often occupied by the hermit crabs of the studied population.
O movimento operário brasileiro e as massas populares: massas obreiras/revolucionárias ou massas ignorantes/inertes?
Pereira, Andréa R. Sampaio;
Detection and Estimation Algorithms in Massive MIMO Systems
R. C. de Lamare,R. Sampaio Neto
Mathematics , 2014,
Abstract: This book chapter reviews signal detection and parameter estimation techniques for multiuser multiple-antenna wireless systems with a very large number of antennas, known as massive multi-input multi-output (MIMO) systems. We consider both centralized antenna systems (CAS) and distributed antenna systems (DAS) architectures in which a large number of antenna elements are employed and focus on the uplink of a mobile cellular system. In particular, we focus on receive processing techniques that include signal detection and parameter estimation problems and discuss the specific needs of massive MIMO systems. Simulation results illustrate the performance of detection and estimation algorithms under several scenarios of interest. Key problems are discussed and future trends in massive MIMO systems are pointed out.
