The Application of New Chiral Ferrocene Ligands in Asymmetric Transfer Hydrogenation of Ketones  [PDF]

Abstract: Four easily available ferrocenyl chiral ligands have been screened firstly for ruthenium (II)-catalyzed asymmetric transfer hydrogenation of acetophenone with HCOOH/Et3N azeotrope as the hydrogen source. A moderate chemical yield of 1-phenylethanol with 83% ee was obtained when (RC, SFc)-1-(Diphe-nylphosphino)-2-[1-N-(3-methylpyridin-2-ylmethyl) ethyl] ferrocene (L1) was used. Particularly, both ruthenium and iridium could coordinate with L1 to accomplish the asymmetric reduction of series of aromatic ketones separately. The desired products were achieved with up to 86% ee.<

Abstract: 根据已报道的大麦黄矮病毒GAV株系(BYDV-GAV)相关基因序列,利用RT-PCR方法获得ORF4基因。在杆状病毒-昆虫细胞系统中,成功表达了ORF4和GFP(绿色荧光蛋白)的融合蛋白(GFP:ORF4),Western blot检测到目的蛋白的表达。利用激光共聚焦显微镜观察其在细胞中的积累和亚细胞分布,发现ORF4基因编码的17kD蛋白(P4)能进入细胞核,并在细胞核膜上聚集。通过对ORF4基因编码的P4蛋白的N端和C端缺失突变结合蛋白质的结构预测分析,鉴定出N端α螺旋结构对于P4蛋白的核膜定位是必需的。这些结果为进一步研究ORF4基因在黄矮病毒GAV系统侵染中的生物学功能奠定了基础。

Abstract: Microarc oxidation coatings were prepared on pure titanium substrates in a Na2CO3 and Na2SiO3 electrolytic solution by microarc oxidation with the pulse frequency of 500-8000Hz, the effects of pulse frequencies on growth kinetics, surface morphology and phase composition of the coatings were studied. The result shows that the coating growth rate is dependent on the pulse frequency. When the frequency is less than 2000Hz, with the increase of frequencies, the coating growth rate decreases sharply, while the frequency is greater than 4000Hz, it keeps almost invariable with the treating frequency increased. Abstract: This paper proposes a rehabilitative gait training robotic system based on the virtual reality technology, which improves the current tedious and boring patients rehabilitative training process. Virtual game is activated by the information from the brain-computer interface and runs in the form of a thread with a singleton design pattern as the main mode. Interacting with the main software, virtual game can achieve quick and effective access operations of heart rate and other physiological information of patients, which are properly reflected in the game. Virtual game makes rehabilitation training more interesting and attractive and significantly increases patients' initiative to participate in rehabilitation training.

Abstract: The objective of our study was to profile and compare the systematic changes between orally administered artesunate and intramuscularly injected artemether at a low dose over a 3-month period (92 consecutive days) in dogs. Intramuscular administration of 6 mg kg-1 artemether induced a decreased red blood cell (RBC) count (anemia), concurrent extramedullary hematopoiesis in the spleen and inhibition of erythropoiesis in the bone marrow. We also observed a prolonged QT interval and neuropathic changes in the central nervous system, which demonstrated the cortex and motor neuron vulnerability, but no behavioral changes. Following treatment with artesunate, we observed a decreased heart rate, which was most likely due to cardiac conduction system damage, as well as a deceased RBC count, extramedullary hematopoiesis in the spleen and inhibition of erythropoiesis in the bone marrow. However, in contrast to treatment with artemether, neurotoxicity was not observed following treatment with artesunate. In addition, ultra-structural examination by transmission electron microscopy showed mitochondrial damage following treatment with artesunate. These findings demonstrated the spectrum of toxic changes that result upon treatment with artesunate and artemether and show that the prolonged administration of low doses of these derivatives result in diverse toxicity profiles.

Abstract: To investigate whether the insertion/deletion polymorphism of the human angiotensin I converting enzyme gene increased the risk of coronary heart disease (CHD) in CHD pedigrees,discordant sib pair analysis (DSP) and transmission/disequilibrium test (TDT) were used.Forty-five CHD pedigrees with at least one CHD patient in the first degree relatives of probands were recruited during Oct.1998 to Feb.1999,of which parental genotype known,one or both parental genotype missing was 21,2 and 22 respectively.ACE genotype was measured by PCR technique.Conditional Logistic regression was used to analyze the DSP,and TDT-STDT program 1 1 was used for TDT and STDT.Univariable conditional Logistic regression did not find significant difference of the distribution of three differentACE genotypes in the 106 discordant sib pairs obtained from the 45 pedigrees.After adjusting effects of traditional risk factors of CHD,no significant difference of the distribution was found by multiple Logistic regression model.Neither the TDT for 13 nuclear families or STDT(sib transmission/disequilibrium test) for 24 sibships showed significant difference between the transmitted and untransmitted ACE gene D allele distributions.Our results show that the insertion/deletion polymorphism of ACE gene is not associated or linked with CHD in Chinese population.

Abstract: This paper reports that a 4H-SiC MESFET (Metal Semiconductor Field Effect Transistor) large signal drain current model based on physical expressions has been developed to be used in CAD tools. The form of drain current model is based on semi-empirical MESFET model, and all parameters in this model are determined by physical parameters of 4H-SiC MESFET. The verification of the present model embedded in CAD tools is made, which shows a good agreement with measured data of large signal DC I-V characteristics, PAE (power added efficiency), output power and gain.

Abstract: Grainy titania coatings are prepared by microarc oxidation on pure titanium (TA2) substrates in a Na$_{2}$SiO$_{3}$--NaF electrolytic solution. The coating thickness is measured by an optical microscope with a CCD camera. Scanning electron microscope (SEM) and x-ray diffraction (XRD) are employed to characterize the microstructure and phase composition of coatings. The results show that the coating thickness increases linearly as the treatment time increases. The coatings are mainly composed of anatase and rutile (TiO$_{2})$. With the increase of treatment time, the predominant phase composition varies from anatase to rutile, which indicates that phase transformation of anatase into rutile occurs in the oxidizing process. Meanwhile, the size of grains existing on the coating surface increases and thus the surface becomes much coarser.

Abstract: 在MODIS火点检测算法基础上提出一种自适应火点检测的改进算法,并对改进算法进行的构建详细描述.改进的算法按照直方图统计来选择进行非火点排除的中红外通道亮温阈值,利用背景像素相对增温法判断疑似火点,提高了火点的识别能力.另外改进算法对云覆盖下的火点也有一定的识别能力.选择中国小火点发生频繁的广东地区进行改进算法的检验,结果表明火点检测效果理想.
