A Geometrical Theorem about the Static Equilibrium of a Common-point-force System and its Application  [PDF]

Abstract:

A geometrical theorem for the static equilibrium of a common-point-force system has been proven by means of virtual-work principle: The equilibrium point of a common-point force system has a minimal weighted distance summation to every fixed point arbitrarily given on each force line with a weighing factor proportional to corresponding force value. Especially the mechanical simulating technique for its inverse problem has been realized by means of pulley block. The conclusions for the inverse problem derived from mechanic method are in accordance with that given by the pure mathematical method, and the self-consistence of the theorem and its inverse problem has been demonstrated. Some application examples in engineering, economy and mathematics have been discussed, especially the possible application in the research of molecular structure, has also been predicted.

Abstract: In this paper, seven self-accelerating iterative methods with memory are derived from an optimal two-step Steffensen-type method without memory for solving nonlinear equations, their orders of convergence are proved to be increased,?numerical examples are demonstrat-ed demonstrated to verify the theoretical results, and applications for solving systems of nonlinear equations and BVPs of nonlinear ODEs are illustrated.

Abstract: poly(ethylene glycol)-block-poly(γ-benzyl l-glutamate)-graft-poly(ethylene glycol) (peg-b-pblg-g-peg) copolymer and poly(γ-benzyl l-glutamate)-graft-poly(ethylene glycol) (pblg-graft-peg) copolymer were synthesized by the ester exchange reaction of peg chain with pblg-block-peg copolymer and pblg homopolymer, respectively. the micellization behaviors of peg-b-pblg-g-peg and pblg-graft-peg in ethanol were investigated by transmission electron microscopy (tem) and viscometry. effects of both the introduction of pblg homopolymer and the change of testing temperature on the critical aggregation concentration (cac) of the two polypeptide copolymers in ethanol were mainly studied. nuclear magnetic resonance (nmr) spectroscopy and fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (ftir) were used to research the chain conformations of polypeptide segments of the two polypeptide copolymers in solvent and in the solid state, respectively.
Charge Moment Tensor and the Magnetic Moment of Rotational Charged Bodies

Abstract: Based on the strict and delicate analogue relation between the magnetic moment of rotational charged bodies and the rotation inertia of rigid bodies, a new concept of charge moment tensor I which is different from the existent electric multiple moment is introduced in this paper. And by means of eigenvalue theory of tensor I , the concept of principal axes and principal-axis scalar charge moment are constructed, and further the scalar charge moment of a charged body and the magnetic moment of a rotational charged body around an arbitrary direction are attained. The relationship between the scalar charge moment distributive law of quadric camber and the positive or negative definiteness of tensor I are discussed. Meanwhile Some principles or theorems are extended, generalized, illustrated, and enumerated.

Abstract: Based on a new concept, i.e., charge moment tensor and the rotational equation of a charged dielectric rigid body about a fixed-point under a uniform external magnetic field, one symmetrical case has been rigorously solved. The rotational stability has been analyzed in detail for two cases, general and symmetrical, respectively, by means of some techniques of matrix analysis.

Abstract: Cognitive Radio (CR) is a promising technology to increase the efficiency of spectrum by opportunistic access. However, in many cases the sensed spectrum is so broken that it cannot be utilized sufficiently with traditional continuous spectrum allocation strategy. Spectrum aggregation can make full use of narrow spectrum fragments while the overhead it brings may reduce the overall performance of the system. This paper proposes a Mixed Contiguous and Aggregated Spectrum Allocation (MixCASA) algorithm for CR based TD-LTE Networks. This algorithm combines contiguous with discontiguous spectrum allocation together in order to guarantee the feasibility and efficiency of system. Simulation results show that the MixCASA algorithm can increase the number of allocated channels, and reduce the overhead brought by excessive spectrum aggregation as well.

Abstract: The results of T-Line Traveling Wave Fault Location is easily influenced by the wave arrival time and traveling wave propagation velocity; it proposes that the traveling wave uses wavelet transform to extract the modulus maxima of breakdown voltage, to confirm the time of the traveling wave reaching the three-terminal line. The speed of the traveling wave reaching three terminals is confirmed by the structural parameters of the transmission line. We apply the arrival time and propagation velocity to the T-type traveling wave fault location algorithm. Different transmission line distance select the corresponding algorithm, excluding the impact of fault branches and in some cases ranging accuracy, the failure dead zone will not appear. After MATLAB simulation analysis, the algorithm analysis is clear; the range accuracy is high, so that it can meet the requirements of fault location.

Abstract:
Gaoshiti-Moxi structure belt of An-Yue Sinian gas reservoir, which was China’s largest monomer Marine carbonate gas reservoir up to now, located in vying-dragon female temple structure group that belong to the ancient uplift slope of the middle of Sichuan. With the exploration and development of high temperature and high pressure carbonate reservoir, a large number of challenges and problems, such as long isolation section, active oil-gas show, large temperature difference, prone to super retarding cement slurry and gas channeling at flare position, have been encountered in the cementing of 177.8 mm hang-liner. In order to solve these problems, numerous measures and methods have been put into use for reducing the safety risk of cementing and improving cementing quality. The large temperature difference channeling cement slurry system, effective anti-pollution spacer and high-pressure packer type liner hanger were developed and applied for field tests in the early stage of development. In addition, equilibrium pressure cementing technology, optimizing of centralizer placement and plasma column structure, improvement of pump displacement and hold pressure while waiting on cement were used to ensure nice displacement efficiency and cementing quality. As Moxi X well for example, the cementing quality factor of merit was 40.29% and the qualification rate was up to 78.87% after adopting the cementing measures and methods above. The cementing quality was much higher than previous level and provided technical support for Gaoshiti-Moxi area.
Nonparaxial propagation of a vectorial apertured off-axis Lorentz beam

Abstract: Based on the vectorial Rayleigh--Sommerfeld integral formula and the complex Gaussian expansion of the hard-edge aperture function, an analytical propagation expression for a nonparaxial vectorial off-axis Lorentz beam passing through a rectangular aperture is derived. The unapertured case, the far field expression and the scalar paraxial result are also presented as special cases of the general formulae, respectively. Some numerical examples are also given to show the propagation characteristics of a nonparaxial vectorial off-axis Lorentz beam through a rectangular aperture. It is indicated that the f parameter, the off-axis displacement and the truncation parameter all play an important role in determining nonparaxial propagation behaviour.
