Abstract:

The operational risks for commercial banks could be divided into four scenarios, which are the risks caused by malicious act, rational choice, inadequacy of capability and unconscious choices. Furthermore, these \"initiatives\" can be reflected in financial corruption, moral hazard, bounded rationality and irrational behavioral tendencies. Operational risk has become one of the three main risks for commercial banks since The New Basel Capital Accord released in 2004, together with credit risk and market risk. This article accordingly puts forward related proposals of the commercial banks’ operational risk management.

Abstract:

In order to pursue development in fierce competition, enterprises have attached greater and greater importance to their innovation abilities. This paper analyzes the theory model about how the relationship between supply chain members can influence innovation performance. It is found that inter-firm trust and learning can help to promote relationship governance, and further enhance the innovation performance of the enterprises.

Abstract:

The traditional evaluation system of corporate performance by maximizing stakeholders’ value has increasingly shown its limitations, and the establishment of performance evaluation system based on stakeholder theory is particularly important. This paper describes stakeholders’ focuses on corporate performance evaluation and analyzes the importance of each of these concerns. Finally, based on the summary of the preceding analysis, this paper analyses the performance evaluation system based on the stakeholder theory, which is oriented by the maximization of corporate value, and proposes different focuses of the corporation according to different sectors and different circumstances.

The research of food safety control which is based on “Farmer-Supermarket Direct-Purchase “model involves the coordination and unification among government’s macro-control, management structure of producer and supermarket. Based on the analysis of the factors and risks of “Farmer-Supermarket Direct-Pur- chase” management model, this article sets company A as an example analyzing the specific processes and potential risks of supplier relationship management, procurement and distribution etc. in the process of quality and safety management of food supply chain, in order to provide suggestions for the improvement of the of China’s food supply chain management efficiency.

Microwave-Assisted Modification of Carbon Nanotubes with Biocompatible Polylactic Acid  [PDF]

Abstract:

Polylactic acid (PLA) was successfully covalently grafted onto multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) by microwave-assisted polymerization of lactide monomers. The final products MWCNT-g-PLA were characterized with Fourier-transform IR (FTIR), Raman spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analyses (TGA) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The results indicated PLA chain was covalently attached to the MWCNT. The grafted PLA was uniformly coated on the surface of MWCNT with a layer thickness of 2 ~ 6 nm. The grafted PLA content could be controlled by microwave irradiation time and the concentrations of reactant. The product with 60.5% grafted PLA content can be synthesized in one hour.

Abstract: LTE heterogeneous networks (HetNets) is becoming a popular topic since it was first developed in 3GPP Release 10. HetNets has the advantage to assemble various cell networks and enhance users’ Quality of Service (QoS) within the system. However, its development is still constrained by two main issues: 1) Load imbalance caused by different transmission powers for various tiers, and 2) The unbalanced transmission power may also increase unnecessary handover rate. In order to solve the first issue, Cell range expansion (CRE) can be applied in the system, which will benefit lower-tier cell during user association phase; CRE, Hysteresis Margin (HM) and Time-to-Trigger (TTT) will be utilized to bound UE within lower tier network of HetNets and therefore solve the second issue. On the other hand, the relationship of these parameters may be complicated and even reduce QoS if they are chosen incorrectly. This paper will evaluate the advantage and disadvantage of all three parameters and propose a Markov Chain Process (MCP) based method to find optimal HM, CRE and TTT values. And then, the simulation is taken and the optimal combination for our scenario is obtained to be 1 dB, 6 dB and 60 ms respectively. First contribution of this paper is to map the HetNets handover process into MCP and all the phases of handover can be calculated and analysed in probability way, so that further prediction and simulation can be realised. Second contribution is to establish a mathematical method to model the relationship of HM, CRE and TTT in HetNets, therefore the coordination of these three important parameters is achieved to obtain system optimization.
Terminal-Dependent Statistical Inference for the Integral Form of FBSDE

Abstract: Backward Stochastic Differential Equation (BSDE) has been well studied and widely applied. The main difference from the Original Stochastic Differential Equation (OSDE) is that the BSDE is designed to depend on a terminal condition, which is a key factor in some financial and ecological circumstances. However, to the best of knowledge, the terminal-dependent statistical inference for such a model has not been explored in the existing literature. This paper is concerned with the statistical inference for the integral form of Forward-Backward Stochastic Differential Equation (FBSDE). The reason why I use its integral form rather than the differential form is that the newly proposed inference procedure inherits the terminal-dependent characteristic. In this paper the FBSDE is first rewritten as a regression version, and then a semiparametric estimation procedure is proposed. Because of the integral form, the newly proposed regression version is more complex than the classical one, and thus the inference methods are somewhat different from those designed for the OSDE. Even so, the statistical properties of the new method are similar to the classical ones. Simulations are conducted to demonstrate finite sample behaviors of the proposed estimators. 1. Introduction The Backward Stochastic Differential Equation (BSDE) was first presented by Bismut [1] for the linear case and by Pardoux and Peng [2] for the general case. The solution of a BSDE consists of a pair of adapted processes satisfying where is the generator, is the standard Brownian motion, and is the terminal condition. Usually the terminal condition is designed as a random variable with given distribution. If meets certain conditions, the BSDE has a unique solution. Abstract: In this paper we aim to find the stationary stochastic viscosity solutions of a parabolic type SPDEs through the infinite horizon backward doubly stochastic differential equations (BDSDEs). For this, we study the existence, uniqueness and regularity of solutions of the corresponding infinite horizon BDSDEs as well as the "perfection procedure" applied to the solutions of BDSDEs. At last the "perfect" stationary stochastic viscosity solutions of SPDEs constructed by solutions of corresponding BDSDEs are obtained.
