- , 2018,
Abstract: Xu Fuguan (2014) claimed that the core characteristic of Chinese culture is "the awareness of anxiety", while Li Zehou (2011) contended that is "the culture of pleasure". Ignoring the apparent antagonism of these two theories, it can be found that anxiety and pleasure, two of the main forms of human emotion existence, have been promoted to the height of the core characteristic of Chinese culture. Therefore, to figure out whether the core characteristic of Chinese culture is anxiety, pleasure or even harmonious combination of both, it has become a topic worthy of further and systematic study. Confucianism attaches great importance to human emotion existence, thus these two emotions –– anxiety and pleasure have been systematically and profoundly observed. From the perspective of Confucianism, anxiety can be categorized into perceptual anxiety and moral anxiety; moral anxiety can be divided into anxiety of inner sagelihood and anxiety of external kingliness; in addition, anxiety of external kingliness can be further subdivided into anxiety of serving parents and anxiety of the world. Similar to the classification of anxiety, pleasure can be also categorized into perpetual pleasure and moral pleasure while moral pleasure can be divided into pleasure of inner sagelihood and pleasure of external kingliness. In addition, pleasure of external kingliness can be further subdivided into the following six types: pleasure of family and kinship, pleasure of mentorship and friendship, pleasure of rites and music, pleasure of sharing with people, pleasure of landscape Bi-de, pleasure of harmony between man and nature. The distinction between the forms of anxiety and pleasure is an important and helpful perspective to study on the thought of anxiety and pleasure in Confucianism.The fundamental form of the anxiety and pleasure of Confucianism is the form of moral anxiety and pleasure, which based on the inner morality of human. Confucianism affirms the natural rationality of perpetual anxiety and pleasure while it insists that they depend on external existence. When drowning in perpetual anxiety and pleasure, people will easily be controlled by environment, and enslaved by material, which tends to cause alienation spiritually. Confucianism takes moral anxiety as the internal motivation of virtual cultivation. Moral pleasure springs up naturally in the process of moral cultivation, which can govern and

Abstract: lacan approached the child as a freed object a. thus, the child is captured in pleasure, drama upon which family is structured. these formulations are questioned in the text that approaches child as the current object of pleasure. the departing point is the discussion on the globalized society which heads to the on-going production of consumer objects, labeled by the decay of ideals and its drive to a lethal hedonism. but the consumption imperative in the globalized society has its own consequences on education which entails the logic of instructing for the market, leading to an educational failure, also known as educational uneasiness. what emerges from educators and students is apathy, boredom and indifference in the emptiness that schools seem to have turned into. the results of the return of pleasure fall upon the victimized children's body, an object of violence, pedophilia and of every kind of abuse. where should the symptoms be listened to in view of the peremptory consumption and the rise of the object, taking into account their effects on the erasing process of child's subjectivity is the concluding question.

Abstract: this study discusses the relationship between the production context of two religious organizations and the experiences of pleasure and suffering of their leaders at work. one hundred religious leaders belonging to a traditional protestant organization and one hundred from a neo-pentecostal organization participated. two questionnaires were completed: one to evaluate the context of the production of goods and services and another to evaluate pleasure and suffering at work. despite the different organizational structures, the results pointed to similar moderate and positive evaluations of the production context, a strong experience of pleasure and a moderate experience of suffering. generally speaking, pleasure is related to the possibility of employing transcendental values at work, a deeper sense of meaning and purpose of work and having greater contact with the community. on the other hand, suffering is related to diversity of activities, excessive work load, lack of organizational support, and accountability for results.

Menezes, Aline Beckmann de Castro;Brito, Regina Célia Souza;
Psicologia em Estudo , 2007, DOI: 10.1590/S1413-73722007000100016
Abstract: homosexual behavior in animal species has been seen as a challenge to the evolution theory. although a non-reproductive response, homosexuality persists in the species. several hypotheses on homosexuality?s evolutionary advantages have been proposed by many authors but they all contain contrary aspects, at least when human beings are concerned. current suggestion states that since homosexuality is not genetically determined, no survival value is required. homosexual behavior pattern would be an evolutionary byproduct of pleasure as an essential consequence of the sexual act to favor reproduction and to maintain links between partners. although still a preliminary proposal, the statement pinpoints new trends in interpretation and investigation within the relationship between homosexuality and evolutionism.
Aesthetic Pleasure: a somaesthetic laboratory in a dance classroom
M?nica Medeiros Ribeiro
Revista Brasileira de Estudos da Presen?a , 2012,
Abstract: This text presents a reflection on the possibility of incorporating devices potentially able to evoke sensory experiences in dance education. Based on ethnoscenological studies, on literature review and on a careful observation of Thembi Rosa’s work, Verdades Inventadas, one could regard somaesthetics and affective proprioception as important notions to think about dance. Somaesthetics seem to promote the construction of identity in dance, due to its ability to evoke pleasure in movement, connecting the individual with action.
