Abstract:
Introduction: The nursing process is an organized method that focuses on the individual reactions of a person (or group) in order to produce a clinical judgment about the person’s state of health in order to make decisions about to the care to be given [1]. Method: The qualitative study has been carried out in this work. This involves exploring the factors related to their experience and the feelings of each caregiver in order to identify possible pathways for the implementation of the nursing process in public hospitals in Lubumbashi. Results: The results showed that the factors that can favor the implementation of the nursing process according to the expression of the nurses surveyed are: updating knowledge on the nursing procedure, setting up the nursing file, availability nursing staff (sufficient staff and permanence in the workplace), motivation of nurses (salary, promotion, bonus, etc.), availability of work equipment. Conclusion: Ultimately, the main challenges remain the training, the equipment of the hospitals and the financial motivation of the nurses.

Abstract:
Introduction: Teamwork is an issue that hospitals must encourage. But the fact is that many hospitals do not promote mutual knowledge of different professions for complementarity in order to meet the needs of patients or the population. Our study pursued a three-fold objective: to explore physicians’ perceptions of nursing care, to describe physicians’ perceptions of the role of nurses, and to identify some characteristics of physician-nurse collaboration. Method: We conducted a cross-sectional descriptive study with 14 doctors at Lubumbashi General Reference Hospitals (Sendwe, South Gecamines and University teaching hospital). Data collection took three months, from May 1 to July 31, 2018. Of the exhaustive sample of a population of 25 physicians, only 14 physicians freely consented and participated in the study and constituted the final size of our study sample. The data has been processed with Excel 2013 and Epi-info 7 software version 7.2.1.0. Results: At the end of our study, we found that no doctor has been able to define either the term nurse or nursing. In addition, 21.5% of the doctors thought that the role of the nurse is to execute the decisions of the doctor. Although 78.6% and 64.3% respectively strongly agreed on the nurse’s consideration as a collaborator and staff needing to clarify a medical prescription; 71.4% reported that the nurse did not have an independent role, 100% had no knowledge of the nursing approach, and 100% found that respect for the role of physicians is one of the elements of their collaboration. In the end, all these results showed the ignorance of the term nurse, nursing care and the nursing approach by the doctors of the public hospitals of the city of Lubumbashi. Conclusion: At the end of our research, we found a negative perception of the nurse and nursing care by the physicians participating in our survey. Awareness within the multidisciplinary team about recognizing the role and limitations of the nurse’s skills becomes a necessity. The quality of the doctor and nurse relationship will certainly improve the quality of patient care.
Analysis of Rainfall Intensity-Duration-Frequency Relationship for Rwanda  [PDF]
Negash Wagesho, Marie Claire
Journal of Water Resource and Protection (JWARP) , 2016, DOI: 10.4236/jwarp.2016.87058
Abstract: Global atmospheric and oceanic perturbations and local weather variability induced factors highly alter the rainfall pattern of a region. Such factors result in extreme events of devastating nature to mankind. Rainfall Intensity Duration Frequency (IDF) is one of the most commonly used tools in water resources engineering particularly to identify design storm event of various magnitude, duration and return period simultaneously. In light of this, the present study is aimed at developing rainfall IDF relationship for entire Rwanda based on selected twenty six (26) rainfall gauging stations. The gauging stations have been selected based on reliable rainfall records representing the different geographical locations varying from 14 to 83 years of record length. Daily annual maximum rainfall data has been disaggregated into sub-daily values such as 0.5 hr, 1 hr, 3 hr, 6 hr and 12 hr and fitted to the probability distributions. Quantile estimation has been made for different return periods and best fit distribution is identified based on least square standard error of estimate. At-site and regional IDF parameters were computed and subsequent curves were established for different return period. The moment ratio diagram (MRD) and L-moment ratio diagram (LMRD) methods have been used to fit frequency distributions and identify homogeneous regions for observed 24-hr maximum annual rainfall. The rainfall stations have been divided into five homogeneous rainfall regions for all 26 stations. The results of present analysis can be used as useful information for future water resources development planning purposes.
Sur les formes de l'Hexagone
Marie-Claire ROBIC
Mappemonde , 1989,

The question of memory is not a new one. Nonetheless the contemporary connotations linked to this notion – when it is defined as collective, social or national – have only recently emerged. If the discourse surrounding memory seems to be largely internationalized, it has come at the cost of a series of discrepancies in temporalities, mobilized theoretical traditions and privileged objects of history. A general synthesis would be improbable. Today it appears that three main problematical concepts or three key paradigms of memory co-exist. The first is that of realms of memory , a term coined by Pierre Nora; the second is that of working through memory with which we associate Paul Ric ur; and the third is that of frameworks of memory which emerged from Maurice Halbwachs’ thoughts on the social conditions of the construction and evocation of memory.

This paper analyzes the political and ideological dimensions of disability, from a socio-critical approach, in order to identify key structural processes underlying the educational policies concerning disability. The paper compares the ideas and approaches of various authors, and points out the relevance of the topic to promote inclusive education in higher education.
