El tiempo, hoy
Palmer,Montserrat;
ARQ (Santiago) , 2005, DOI: 10.4067/S0717-69962005005900004

Abstract: what is it that makes space political?of all the activities of a human community, only two are considered necessary for what aristotle called bios politikos: action and speech. the architect?s actions and discourse imply the conception of the architectural project as a political act, taking into account the fact that forms are ideologically neutral, and only acquire meaning according to the way they are used. five articles introduce from different perspectives the problems pertaining to architecture?s sphere of action from a political point of view. culture, the city, and the architectural work are the paradigms that we present throughout this issue devoted to our everyday life in a given society
El tiempo de la historia
Galceran, Montserrat;
Trans/Form/A??o , 2000, DOI: 10.1590/S0101-31732000000100003
Abstract: an inquiry from vico's formulation of the general idea of history leads to a reinterpretation of the way marx deals with the general notion of "history", which is not understood as the linear continuity of different production systems, but as the genesis of some systems' conditions from others' integral elements. it is singled out that althusser has been the first marxist who fully understood this complexity and the first who undertook the composite character of marx's historical time. the article closes on some reflections on the singularity of the "idea of time" and its construction.
Castelló,Montserrat;
Revista signos , 2002, DOI: 10.4067/S0718-09342002005100011
Abstract: in the last twenty years, research on writing has changed from focusing almost exclusively on a cognitive analysis of the writing process to inquiring into the possibility and the need to teach this process (camps & castelló, 1996). this change in perspective has been gradual but definite, which has currently allowed teachers to have a knowledge corpus available in education. this, in turn, feeds new research and new ways to interpret the writing process. in this paper, our aim will be to analyze the main changes in the way how the writing process has been conceived during the last years and in the challenges these conceptions pose the teaching of writing.
Cultura y política

ARQ , 2003,
