Abstract: In this paper, we posed a random iterative algorithm for generalized multivalued random variational like inclusions. We define the random relaxed Lipschitz and relaxed monotone mappings and prove the existence and convergence of solutions of the random iterative sequences generated by a random iterative algorithm.

Abstract: In this paper, we propose a new time dependent model for solving total variation (TV) minimization problem in image denoising. The main idea is to apply a priori smoothness on the solution image. This is a constrained optimization type of numerical algorithm for removing noise from images. The constraints are imposed using Lagrange’s multipliers and the solution is obtained using the gradient projection method. 1D and 2D numerical experimental results by explicit numerical schemes are discussed.

Abstract: Ahmad et al. in their paper [1] for the first time proposed to apply sharp function for classification of images. In continuation of their work, in this paper we investigate the use of sharp function as an edge detector through well known diffusion models. Further, we discuss the formulation of weak solution of nonlinear diffusion equation and prove uniqueness of weak solution of nonlinear problem. The anisotropic generalization of sharp operator based diffusion has also been implemented and tested on various types of images.

Abstract: In this paper, we generalize H(.,.) accretive operator introduced by Zou and Huang [1] and we call it H(.,.)- φ - η - accretive operator. We define the resolvent operator associated with H(.,.)- φ - η - accretive operator and prove its Lipschitz continuity. By using these concepts an iterative algorithm is suggested to solve a generalized variational-like inclusion problem. Some examples are given to justify the definition of H(.,.)- φ - η - accretive operator.

Abstract: Objective: The aim of this article is to provide a detailed description for obstructive sleep apnea regarding its signs and symptoms, the way it is diagnosed, the risk factors, management, the role of dentists and oral appliances in treatment and consequences of untreated condition. Material and Method: Electronic searching was done in PubMed, Medline, EMBASE and CENTRAL databases. Inclusion criteria were: dental, oral and maxillofacial oriented articles. Exclusion criteria: cardiac, obesity and non dental oriented articles were excluded. Result: 59 articles meet the criteria. Conclusion: Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a potentially life threatening disorder characterized by repeated collapse of the upper airway during sleep, with periodic cessation of breathing for more than ten seconds. The frequency of obstructive sleep apnea has been found to increase with age; ranging from two percent among children to two and half percent - six percent among adolescents. Overnight polysomnographic test at specialized sleep clinics remains the gold standard for diagnosing obstructive sleep apnea disorder. Management of this condition can be performed via surgical and non surgical methods. Continuous positive airway pressure represents the first line of treatment for most patients with obstructive sleep apnea.
