A Load Service System with Reputation Proof in P2P Networks  [PDF]

Abstract: In this paper, a new system design for load services in computer networks with a new reputation system is constructed. The use of the reputation system is to address the free-rider problem. Database systems are used by directory agents to save information provided by load-server agents. Protocols are built for how a host finds available servers for load service or load transfer, especially when a host moves to a new region. Detailed procedures include how a directory agent builds its database, how a load-server agent provides services, and how a load-client agent receives its desired services. The system uses the fuzzy logic control method to transfer loads for load balancing, instead of the method of a fixed threshold level. For an ad-hoc (wireless) computer network framework, this new system structure is aimed to provide efficient ways for hosts to communicate with one another and to access resources in the system. This will also help the users of networks locate resources in a most effective and secure manner.

Abstract:
Customer citizenship behavior is a new concept in the field of customer behavior research. It is a valuable and constructive behavior of consumers who are willing to do for the brand out of their roles, which makes the enterprise competitive due to low cost or even zero cost. Therefore, it has gradually attracted widespread concern from domestic and foreign researchers and practitioners in marketing. This paper studies the antecedent variables of consumer citizenship behavior. The connection of self and brand acts as the mediator between the congruence of consumer’s self-image as well as brand image and consumer citizenship behavior. Specifically speaking, neither the consumer’s self-image nor brand image directly affects his/her citizenship behavior but affected by the mediate role of self-brand connection. Only when the consumer voluntarily connects himself/herself with the brand and form high-quality consumer-brand relationship, will consumers voluntarily engage in valuable and constructive behaviors for the brands. In this way, the consumer citizenship behavior forms.
An Adaptive Pulse Compression Filter for Ultrasound Contrast Harmonic Imaging  [PDF]

Abstract:

Coded excitation is useful for ultrasound contrast imaging to increase penetration and SNR, and improve the contrast to tissue ratio (CTR). The waveform of bubble response depends greatly on bubble size, the frequency and bandwidth of the excitation chirp signal. This makes the pulse compression filter based on square-law be wrong for bubbles with changing sizes. In this paper, an adaptive pulse compression (APC) filter for the second harmonic of microbubble with varying size distribution is proposed. The APC filter is designed based on the estimated power spectrum of the received bubble harmonic echoes. Theoretical analysis and simulation studies are presented for evaluating performance of the APC filter. For monodisperse bubble, the power improvement factor of the APC filter can be more than 20 dB.

Abstract: Objective: In the present study, the efficacy of Naoxintong capsule (NXT), a compound Chinese herbal medicine, combined with dual antiplatelet therapy (DA) in a rat model of coronary microembolization (CME) was evaluated. Methods: CME in rats was developed by injecting a suspension of microthrombotic particles into the left ventricle when the ascending aorta was obstructed. Microthrombotic particles were generated from the clots of rats sized by filtration through a screen (aperture diameter, 38 μm). A total of 95 rats were randomly divided into six groups, including control group, sham-operation (sham) group, CME model (CME) group, and NXT, DA, and NDA (NXT plus DA) groups. Rats in treatment groups were administered intragastrically with NXT, DA, and NDA, respectively, from 3 d before to 7 d after operation. All rats were sacrificed on day 7 post-operationally, and samples of blood and heart were collected. The complete data of 69 rats were obtained. The incidence of CME (CME%) was evaluated by hematoxylin-eosin staining. Bleeding time (BT) and clotting time (CT) were measured by means of tail cutting and glass slide methods, respectively. Adenosine diphosphate-induced maximum platelet aggregation rate (PAR) was assessed with turbidimetry. Platelet counts were examined by an automated hematology analyzer. The levels of serum P-selectin, interleukin (IL)-6, IL-10, endothelin (ET-1) and endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS) were all detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Results: Compared with control and sham groups, CME group had an increase in CME%, PAR, P-selectin, IL-6 and ET-1 (P<0.01, P<0.01), and a decrease in BT, CT, IL-10 and eNOS (P<0.01, P<0.01); compared with CME group, the groups receiving medications had an increase in BT, CT, IL-10 and eNOS (P<0.05 or P<0.01), and a decrease in CME%, PAR, P-selectin, IL-6 and ET-1 (P<0.05 or P<0.01), with DA group increasing most in BT and CT and decreasing most in PAR and P-selectin, and with NDA group increasing most in IL-10 and eNOS and decreasing most in CME%, IL-6 and ET-1. In terms of platelet counts, there was no statistically significant difference among groups (P>0.05).Conclusion: NXT combined with DA can decrease CME%. The probable mechanism is that this therapy can appropriately inhibit platelet aggregation, balance the pro- and anti-inflammatory cytokines as well as serum ET-1 and eNOS. This therapy can also reduce risk of intraoperative bleeding during DA therapy.
An Empirical Study on Primary Teachers’ Information Technology Learning Difficulties Structure

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to establish a scale with reliability and validity about information technology learning difficulties through a series of precise analytical procedures. Taking primary teachers as the subject of research and adopting the method of stratification sampling, the author made two questionnaire surveys. First of all, in the pre-examination questionnaire, he altogether sent out 205 questionnaires, and took back 164 effective questionnaires. Through project analysis, reliability test and exploratory factor analysis, the formal questionnaire was formed. Then, he again released 682 questionnaires and took back 473 effective questionnaires, with an effective recovery rate of 69.4%. After confirmatory factor analysis, such three factors as self-competence difficulty, family difficulty and information support difficulty were extracted, and eleven measurement terms were reserved. However, the coefficient ? was all above .8 at all levels of the scale and the coefficient ? was also above .9 in the whole scale, which indicated perfect internal consistency. As for the verification mode, after correction, its adaptive degree was proved to be benign be means of confirmatory factor analysis. Since the scale in this study was with benign reliability and validity, subsequent researchers may conduct relevant studies based on the scale established in this study.

Abstract: In this paper, we study the detection of accelerator neutrinos at the China Spallation Neutron Source (CSNS). By using the code FLUKA,the processes of accelerator neutrinos production during the proton beam hitting on the tungsten target are simulated, and the yield efficiency, numerical flux, average energy of different flavor neutrinos are obtained. Furthermore, the detection of accelerator neutrinos through two reaction channels,the neutrino-electron reactions and neutrino-carbon reactions, is studied, and the event numbers of different flavor neutrinos are calculated.

Abstract: The goal of this paper is to provide theorems on convergence rates of posterior distributions that can be applied to obtain good convergence rates in the context of density estimation as well as regression. We show how to choose priors so that the posterior distributions converge at the optimal rate without prior knowledge of the degree of smoothness of the density function or the regression function to be estimated.

Abstract: In this paper, the maximal nonlinear conditional correlation of two random vectors $X$ and $Y$ given another random vector $Z$, denoted by $\rho_1(X,Y|Z)$, is defined as a measure of conditional association, which satisfies certain desirable properties. When $Z$ is continuous, a test for testing the conditional independence of $X$ and $Y$ given $Z$ is constructed based on the estimator of a weighted average of the form $\sum_{k=1}^{n_Z}f_Z(z_k)\rho^2_1(X,Y|Z=z_k)$, where $f_Z$ is the probability density function of $Z$ and the $z_k$'s are some points in the range of $Z$. Under some conditions, it is shown that the test statistic is asymptotically normal under conditional independence, and the test is consistent.
Robust Speech Endpoint Detection in Airplane Cockpit Voice Background  [PDF]

Abstract: A method of robust speech endpoint detection in airplane cockpit voice background is presented. Based on the analysis of background noise character, a complex Laplacian distribution model directly aiming at noisy speech is established. Then the likelihood ratio test based on binary hypothesis test is carried out. The decision criterion of conventional maximum a posterior incorporating the inter-frame correlation leads to two separate thresholds. Speech endpoint detection decision is finally made depend on the previous frame and the observed spectrum, and the speech endpoint is searched based on the decision. Compared with the typical algorithms, the proposed method operates robust in the airplane cockpit voice background.

Abstract:

Meander line antenna has been considered desirable on flight vehicles to reduce drag and minimize aerodynamic disturbance; however, the antenna design and performance analysis have made mostly by trial-and-error. An inductor model by simulating the meander line sections as electrical inductors and the interconnecting radiation elements as a quasi-monopole antenna is developed to analyze the antenna performance. Experimental verifications of the printed meander line antennas embedded in composite laminated substrates show that the inductor model is effective to design and analyze. Of the 4 antennas tested, the discrepancy of resonant frequency in simulation and experiment is within 4.6%.
