Valero,Nereida; Maldonado,Mery;
Investigación Clínica , 2006,
Abstract: a great variety of viruses which cause exanthema share other clinical manifestations, making etiologic identification relying exclusively on clinical examination a very difficult task. the most common agents include the measles virus, rubella, dengue, varicella, cytomegalovirus, epstein barr, enteroviruses, human parvovirus b19 and type 6 human herpes virus. the fact that most these diseases are self limited represents an important challenge to the development of clinical and epidemiological resources, identification of new infectious agents, monitor changes in their behavior, and to evaluate the impact of immunization on the modification of viral disease with cutaneous manifestations that are considered along whit classical exanthematic pathology, and specially the macullopapular type. in spite the fact that viral exanthematic diseases are common in zulia state, several difficulties are encountered in order to determine a precise etiologic diagnosis. even though some are fairly benign and self limited, some represent an important risk to certain age groups, gravid and immunocompromized patients, since they can progress to more serious processes. therefore it is of great importance to ascertain the etiological diagnosis that might be implicated with viral exanthematic diseases in order to guarantee an adequate treatment and to establish the required measures for disease control.

Hamui Sutton, Mery;
Perfiles educativos , 2011,
Abstract: in this article, the author carries out a theoretical-empirical comparison about the way in which the organization structure and the logics of change are brought about in a succesful research team in social sciences (international relations) in the public sector by analyzing its career experience. the measurements of the organizational structures were: a) functional stabilization, which includes its composition, orientation, regulating action, differentiation and leaderschip; and b) emotional stabilization, which considers the status of membership. about this particular aspect the author shows how the member of the team uses to estimate the costs and benefits to be member of the group for the production of knowledge, to build up an ethos, roles, identities and power in the interaction logics. the author also compares the typical model of career of the research teams with this particular team in three specific moments: forming, transition to consolidation and consolidation.

Hamui Sutton, Mery;
Revista mexicana de investigación educativa , 2010,
Abstract: this article attempts to show how organizational structure operates as a source of emotional and functional stability for the production of scientific knowledge, as well as the logic of change, in successful scientific research groups in academia and the public sector. the paper presents the results of the organizational structure of two research groups-immunochemistry and immunology-in two dimensions: a) functional stabilization and relative permanence of a group, including composition, orientation, normative action, differentiation and leadership, and b) emotional stabilization, whose dimensions are belonging, in which the group member calculates the costs and benefits of being a member to attain ends, the construction of an ethos, roles, identities, and power in the logic of interaction. also shown is the process of conforming a new group in immunology during the consolidation of the trajectory of the immunochemistry group, as a process of reproduction of research groups in new lines of specialized knowledge.
Approaching organizations from a systemic point of view allows us to see them as a group of interactive and interdependent parts of a larger system called society. This perspective lets us understand that each organization simultaneously affects and is affected by its environment, and this reciprocal relationship —of benefit or damage— largely determines its survival. This paper intends to explain, in a certain way, what is known today as social responsibility, although this concept has antecedents that go back to the end of the Nineteenth century and diverse manifestations throughout the Twentieth century. More recently, the negative effects of globalization, among other reasons, have forced the emergence of norms, behavioral codes and guides oriented to counteract those negative effects, seeking better working and social conditions.Each organization has an ethic, moral, and social imperative towards this responsibility, because that is how the organizations help to invigorate and/or recover social fabric, and to construct social capital. Every organization should assume social responsibility not only within, with its own employees, but also with its different stakeholders.
