Abstract: KOH/CaO/C supported catalyst was prepared via incipient wetness impregnation and used in synthesis of biodiesel. First, the effects of carrier/active components mass ratio, calcination temperature and calcination time on catalytic activity were investigated aiming at biodiesel yield, and the optimal process conditions for preparation of KOH/CaO/C catalysts were: mass ratio of C/CaO was 4:6; KOH solution (mass concentration) was 25%; impregnation time was 24 h; drying temperature was 105°C and time was 4 h; calcination temperature was 500°C and time was 5 h. Then the complex catalysts prepared under the optimal conditions were applied to synthesize biodiesel, and the effects of dose of catalyst, reaction temperature, and reaction time on the yield of biodiesel were investigated. At last, the optimal process conditions for synthesis of biodiesel were concluded: methanol-oil ratio was 10:1; catalyst dose was 2% of that of soybean oil; reaction temperature was 65°C; reaction time was 5 h. The yield of as-prepared biodiesel could be 98%.

Abstract: The co-principal-anent models of manufacturer and retailer are built under the complete information and asymmetric information. In addition, the optimal profit sharing and the optimal fixed payment ratio are analyzed and compared in both situations. A motivate mechanism about service effort provided by the manufacturer towards the retailer in a dual-channel supply chain is studied. It implies that the profit of manufacturer under asymmetric information decreases dramatically contrasted to complete information and the retailer can gain profits by providing lower services, thus refusing deficiency of the supply chain.

Abstract: Rural revitalization is a policy introduced under the background of the integration of urban and rural development. With the government as the guide, the village-based ruling philosophy promotes rural development. In the development of this policy, the village has been further developed and adapted to the needs of the times. However, there are still a series of problems. The planning mode of the hard-working has made the participation of the villagers mostly in the form, which leads to the lack of support system and limited social development. Therefore, the formulation of villagers’ participation in rural construction is the cornerstone for rural development. In various aspects, the village name was adopted to participate in the rural construction planning strategy, in order to achieve rural renewal and prosperity.

Abstract: Background: To investigate the changes in plasma levels of endothelin (ET), nitric oxide (NO), prostacyclin (PGI2) and thromboxane A2 (TXA2) in patients undergoing abdominal operation. Materials and Methods: Thirty cases of abdominal surgery (14 males, 16 females; mean age 48 ± 11 years, ranging from 24 to 70) were prospectively recruited: Twenty-four cases of cholelithiasis and cholecystitis, 2 cases of peptic ulcer and 4 cases of portal vein hypertension. At five different time points (1-3 days after hospitalization (T1), at surgery beginning, after anesthesia (T2) and at the first (T3), third (T4) and fifth day (T5) after surgery), plasma levels of ET-1, NO2-, NO3-6-keto-PGF1α and thromboxane B2 (TXB2), the latter two being stable metabolites of PGI2 and TXA2 respectively, were measured. Results: ET-1 levels increased significantly after anesthesia and surgery (T1 = 69.2 ± 10.7 vs. T2 = 82.4 ± 14.7 vs. T3 = 96.6 ± 22.8 pg/ml, p < 0.05). TXB2 levels before surgery were significantly lower than that after (T2 = 67.5 ± 52.7 vs. T3 = 157.6 ± 21.8 pg/ml, p < 0.05). Pre-surgery NO levels were significantly higher than that after

In this paper, a new miniaturized wide-pass-band filter at U band based on composite right/left- handed transmission line (CRLH TL) is implemented. The CRLH TL contributed to a broadband filter is a balanced structure with a small size of only 1.428 mm*0.5530 mm. The frequency characteristics are simulated and the results show that the 3 dB band width of the proposed filter is about 13.5 GHz from 45.8 GHz to 59.3 GHz. The insertion loss is quite flat through the pass-band and the return loss is relatively low.

Abstract: Cold-chain demand of fresh agricultural products is increasing in China, while network layout of cold-chain logistics is in disorder and its cost is huge. To address this problem, this paper casts an optimal model of cold-chain logistics network and tackles it with genetic algorithms. This optimal model takes running total cost of logistics network as the objective, and embeds a nonlinear mixed integer programming including two assignment issues. The model determines optimal layout and logistics management for pre-cooling stations and logistics center for fresh agricultural products. Our main contribution is to consider construction cost and operation cost of cold chain logistics simultaneously. Case study illustrates the effectiveness of the model.

Study on Simulation of Foreshock Activity Properties before Strong Earthquake Using Heterogeneous Cellular Automata Models  [PDF]

Three different degrees of heterogeneous fault models are simulated by using 2-D random dynamic cellular automata models for analyzing macroscopic behaviors of seismic activity evolution influenced by heterogeneity of fault structures. The results show that the heterogeneities of fault structures can influence evolution properties of the foreshock activity and rupture process, such as the mediate heterogeneous and less heterogeneous structures, which show relatively higher ASR rates and more significant seismic gaps before main shocks. Besides, stress drop distribution ranges of the foreshock events when approaching a main shock show more homogenous (narrower) than that of the foreshock events far from a main shock. So the heterogeneity of fault structures plays an important role in strong earthquake preparation processes.

A Study on the Relationship among Transformational Leadership, Organizational Identification and Voice Behavior  [PDF]

Abstract: This paper investigates the relationship between transformational leadership and voice behavior under Chinese cultural background. It also examines the mediating effects of organizational identification in the relationship between transformational leadership and voice behavior. We use multiple linear regression analyses to validate our hypotheses. The results of the empirical study showed that: Transformational leadership has a significant positive influence on voice behavior; transformational leadership and its four dimensions have a significant positive influence on organizational identification; organizational identification has a significant positive influence on voice behavior. Organizational identification plays a part intermediary role between transformational leadership and voice behavior.
