Abstract:
A phenocopy is defined as a clinical non-inherited phenotype in an indi-vidual, with environmental induction, which is identical to the genetically determined phenotype of another. Until February 2017, the IUIS (Interna-tional Union of Immunological Societies) reported in its classification 354 innate immunity errors and a final group (classification table IX) with con-ditions that are not part of the innate alterations and are called phenocopies. These are classified into two types, the associated with somatic mutations and those associated with auto-antibodies. The phenotypes that occur by any of the mechanisms mentioned are complex and varied. It is necessary to know the clinical manifestations of the pathologies classified in this group to enrich the possible differential diagnoses in individuals with suspected immunodeficiency.

Perelman,Mariano Daniel;
Intersecciones en antropolog?-a , 2011,
Abstract: the aim of this article is to analyze how a group of people that began to cirujear in the mid-1990s in the city of buenos aires constructed the activity as a legitimate way of living. the focus of the article is put on the understanding of how some garbage scavengers constructed themselves as subjects that perform a worthy activity, on the meanings that the activity has acquired and on the practices and discourses that allowed this construction to happen. the article not only focuses on the area of need (earning the living), but at the same time, is put on the construction of legitimate and reasonable ways to do it from two different analytical levels. on the one hand a level regarding the construction of ideals (hegemonic) to be a worker. on the other hand, the ways in which subjects (re) construct their experiences, build relationships, and generate social imaginaries, explanations, justifications about their occupation and the ways they are changing.
Perelman, Mariano Daniel;
Mana , 2010, DOI: 10.1590/S0104-93132010000200006
Abstract: exploring the testimonies and memories of cirujas (waste pickers) who lived and worked at la quema, a dump in buenos aires, this article reconstructs the meanings acquired by this activity over time. analyzing these accounts produced some thirty years after the closure of la quema and in a new social context where the activity has become more commonplace, the text argues that the 'historical' cirujas construct their past in opposition to the present, a process that allows them to make their earlier experience of social marginalization more bearable. the analysis of these memories also enables us to focus on the discourses on being and having been a worker in argentina.

Gianni Vattimo, el último comunista
MARIANO LEIRO,Daniel;
Utopìa y Praxis Latinoamericana , 2007,
Abstract: this paper presents some of the ideas from gianni vattimo?s book, ecce comu. what many people have viewed as a radicalization toward the left in the ethical-political reflection of this italian thinker is not only a discourse that seeks to develop in a crisis situation like the present, the consequences of the close ties among philosophy, politics and religion, which in the 50s, represented vattimo?s primary concern. finally, reasons are reconstructed by means of which a post-metaphysical philosophy could justify the idea according to which rediscovery of a communism liberated from the dogma of objectivity and development might be the best alternative for opposing capitalism in the current conditions of late modernity
Gianni Vattimo, el último comunista

Utopia y Praxis Latinoamericana , 2007,

The aim of this article is to analyze the way cirujeo- the informal collect of garbage- is made at Buenos Aires City. For this analyze it is consider the history of the activity, the relations between different actors and the forms in which the formal activity took ahead.

The aim of this article is to analyze how a group of people that began to cirujear in the mid-1990s in the city of Buenos Aires constructed the activity as a legitimate way of living. B-1 cell: the precursor of a novel mononuclear phagocyte with immuno-regulatory properties
Lopes, José Daniel;Mariano, Mario;

Abstract: characterization of the origin, properties, functions and fate of cells is a fundamental task for the understanding of physiological and pathological phenomena. despite the bulk of knowledge concerning the diverse characteristics of mammalian cells, some of them, such as b-1 cells, are still poorly understood. here we report the results obtained in our laboratory on these cells in the last 10 years. after showing that b-1 cells could be cultured and amplified in vitro, a series of experiments were performed with these cells. they showed that b1 cells reside mostly in the peritoneal and pleural cavities, migrate to distant inflammatory foci, coalesce to form giant cells and participate in granuloma formation, both in vitro and in vivo. they are also able to present antigens to immunologically responsive cells and are endowed with regulatory properties. further, we have also shown that these cells facilitate different types of infection as well as tumor growth and spreading. these data are presently reviewed pointing to a pivotal role that these cells may play in innate and acquired immunity.
